The hero soared above the city
A scowl was on her face
All was peaceful and quiet
Leisurely and calm of pace
The sun disappeared on the horizon
And so the mood of the day
Shadows lengthened, lights flickered
Darkness crept kindness sped away
The bank manager turned the key to his door
All strangely quiet where were the kids?
Answer was quickly given
The waiting gang demands do as they bid
They threatened and snarled aloud
The orders clear and plain
To open the safe at the bank
Or else all would feel pain
Yet as they left the door to the home
The pain came quicker than light
Biff! Baff! Boom! Went the fists of the hero
Down the drain went villains mind and sight
"There's one more the manager shouted!"
The leader appeared in the gloom
An eerie glow about his body
A visage of might and doom
A beam of light gripped and crushed her
A cruel smile crossed his face
Ribs creaked and groaned in agony
Her heart rate beat fast of pace
As her breath was almost taken
The hero fired a bolt of blue light
The dark leader called out in anguish
A cage of sparkling power extinguished his might
He writhed and raged in painful agony
The electrical prison sapped his strength
A flash of blue light came from her fingers
A charred burn to his chest senses went
With his last words he raged and cursed her
Told of the vast wealth in diamonds he'd lost
The hero smiled as his words died away
Then thought again of diamonds and cost
The hero soared above the city
A smile was on her face
All was peaceful and quiet
Leisurely and calm of pace
She flew on to the city bank
Blasted door out of way
Down to the strong steel safe
To the diamonds waiting in tray
Lit up in her blue elecrtical glow
They glistened and shone so bright
Soon they were gone no more
Carried off back to home out of sight
The newspapers again rang her praise
Unfortunate another gang got the loot
Who was the mysterious Hero?
The savior of city and truth
The hero sat on the bus off to work
The diamond earings sparkled and shone
Some might of thought to rob her
But a look in her eye meant there were non
