Also, what if you levelling pact buddy is a Epic and you don't have a 50? That could lead to problems.

Why. If they can get it to work at all then using an unlockable epic would be as easy as a standard AT. People might complain about the ability to use an epic without unlocking it. As I expect most people to be against the idea anyway and as I said, It's unworkable.

Well personally I wouldn't use it, IMHO it takes away the point of making alts of other ATs. It's a good idea for the people who can't seem to play other ATs but I see many of the playerbase complaining.
That's what alts are for.
Besides the technical issues, being able to control someone elses toon without having to log into their account is a powerlevelling websites wet dream.

It could also be a open target for griefers, eg give all your inf away to someone else and write "I eat monkey poop" in your description.
Actually it's entirely doable if you are prepared to use an alt to mirror your buddy's toon
You can't actually swap toons, but you can buddy up with a friend and each make a two toons, for example a tank and a blaster using the same power sets.
As you level you can swap mirror them
With the Dual Build function you can also experiment with alternative builds and compare notes so you can theoretically get a few different flavours of the same toon

I am in favour of the levelling pact. It will ba a great help keeping a regular duo together. When discussing this the other evening we struck upon an idea for the next level of pact.
Mind Swap! If you are always linked to one other character by levelling pact, then wouldn't it be great to be able to play as that character? Swap your blaster for your mates tank and play as each other. Bored with tanking, want to control for a while?
I know it is an unworkable suggestion, but we both thought it would be great to swap our characters occasionally.
What do the rest of you think?
