Illusionist badge hunt - 16th Sept., 20:30 UK Time

NP guys, then we are keeping the original date, it was only that I set that date because I though there were very few people interested on this badge, and fixing it in advance would help to catch their attention.
Sorry all for confusing you, it was something to came up to my mind about not wasting time and running it as soon as possible, but it seems that the 16th of September was ok for all of you; anyway, watching the great lineup we already have, I'm pretty sure that we will earn that badge no matter the date we are going to run this hunt.
I'll send an in-game tell to Xem to confirm the 16th of September.

Original date suits me fine, pity we can't bring it forward because we have a great line up for it but I guess we'll just have to wait .....& try not to forget

You can spawn Master Illusionists at Unyeilding (IIRC) on a two player spawn, I know this because they are the bane of my fire/kin duos life. :'(

Hmm, that's bizzare. It also depends on the level. We tried to get them for this badge redside, and pre level 40, they simply wouldn't spawn...but playing around with the rep, 8 man, top rep, spawned the most.
More MIs =more decoys every 3 minutes (the timer on their summon, unless they're slowed), = less time spent doing this dull, dull badge :P
Forgot to mention that both are lvl50. But even with Indomitable will and stacked Increase density I get held/slept/killed by them plus pets, the Dark Ring Mistresses that killed my Scrapper and Blaster with ease on the other hand are hardly noticeable. 
Not to mention most attempts to keep them in one place are foiled when they phase.
That being said, i'd do my best to keep all of them pinned in a corner, and everyone at the defense soft cap. That should at least take some of the strain off this hunt

Can you please confirm how we are going to do this next Friday i.e. farm a radio mission or do a lvl 45+ story arc. Just want to confirm if I need to get my troller up a couple of levels or not by next Tuesday.

I keep thinking that running Harvey's story arc using Ouroboros and Rugged / Unyielding reputation is the best idea; in fact my suggestion would be running each interesting mission twice (I've been reading that story arc description, there are Malta and Devouring missions, but there's a warehouse mission, as Xem said, with lots of MI's, that would be cool).

Btw, I think I found another way of running this hunt, if not next tuesday, maybe in a near future, in case some of us can't earn Illusionist badge.
Last night I farmed a carnies mission in Union with a team of 8 people, it was one of the Carnival performance series (lvl 45-46 foes); a teammate pulled several Master Illusionists and 2 WS (Dwarf form) taunted them, meanwhile the rest of the team kept them immobilized; we managed to hold about 10-12 MIs farming illusionists at the same time, in about 1 hour all of us earned that badge.
Probably we could do something similar with the warehouse mission that Xemulas said, if it's really crowded with MIs, instead of running the whole Harvey's arc.

Thinking the DoT damage fire controllers can do, probably will be better if you use your Plant troller Xtream; anyway, you'll be able to change toons, at least that's what we did in Union the last week, when any of us got the badge, changed to another toon, maybe you won't be able to earn it twice but your 2nd toon will have a nice bump up!

nice; I think this is the best choice possible; when I did it last weekend in Union, a teammate was pulling MIs to us, then 2 ws taunted them, and an ice controller immobilized them, we hold around 10-12 MIs summoning pets, it was quite fun and fast indeed. I think we can try this tactics aswell.

I'm afraid I can't make next Tuesday since Xtream, Clawd and myself are taking part in an all blaster TF. The original date was fine for me. I could also make the 12th Sept if that's any better?
