So basically, Vengeance is useless if you are doing solo.
To put it this way: it is a excellent power to use when you can capitalise on someone's failure. Useful in a team, perhaps.
I have two regular MMs but I did not choose this power for either of them. Simple because if I am playing with my regular teammates, I hardly ever die (happened sometimes, but still rare). I die mostly when teaming with strangers. But once I found having debt can count towards a badge and subsequently an accolade, I am not too bothered about dying anymore.
I have just remembered that there is a 45% (or thereabouts) Defence Soft Cap on each ATs. So, no matter how much Defence bonus Vengeance is going to give you, unless you have been badly debuff on Defence by your enemies, you are not going to take advantage of the Defence buff from Vengeance. The same applise to your teammates and pets as well.
But to be fair, 45% Defence (soft cap) is good enough to keep you alive unless you are fighting the impossible.
can you activate vengeance if any of you pets dies, i am guessing not but i had to ask.
