Teus 22nd January - 19:00 GMT - Manti TF Speed Run

Right this is Not a Badge or Xp Run this is a Pure Sped Run,
We are trying to find other TFs other than Katie Hannon's TF and Ernesto Hess' TF, That can be done in under 60minutes. And we Think Manti's Tf can.

The record atm stand at 82mins, we are hoping to at least knockoff 8 mins and break the 75mins barrier.

To Do this we will need

1 Rad (Preferbly a Troller)
1 Tank (Need to be Damage Focused though
6 from Scrappers and Blasters

AS this will be a high Damage Team we should be able to Nuke all the KA mish in about 8-12mins, most of this TF is Ghostable, and the last mish we will also Ghost as Hopkins is a wee bit of a squishy. (BTW no Tp or Temp Powers (like Amy, Shivans, Nukes and Havas (and anything else like)) can be used)

We do have lots of Interest already,

lvl 34 is the min lvl i will be accepting as lower levels will et left behind.(If we are struggling to fill the team then we will accept lower lvls)

We already have a lot of interest in this, about 5

But i will fill out the deatils when i get back form work.

I joined this from the Union Badge Hunters Channel and therefore had not read this post. I must say I was appaled by the attitude of the OP. In the final mission he abused everyone and demanded we do things his way and threatened to kick us if we didn't.

When I brought up his attitude I got told learn to read u nub (despite the fact that as stated I joined as a PUG and was not informed of any time record attempt)

Other people on the team also expressed dissatisfaction at the attitude on display.

Suffice to say, I won't be gracing any other TFs the OP decides to run.

I'm just wondering.. why do you specifically need a rad? I'd say a kin would be more useful for sustained high damage. If you have a dmg-oriented tank, 6 dmg dealers, whats the point of a rad aside from AV fights? As said you'd be nuking through the defeat all mishes, meaning the toggles of rad are barely used.

Need rad for AM? Kin got SB for that which is easier to keep perma than AM. Together with fulcrum greatly increasing the damage capability of 6 damage dealers. Need rad for AV? Mainly for -regen i take it, as thats what people seem to only look at when fighting AVs.. I'd say if 7 people dish a constant amount of damage on an AV, a kin once more would be a better idea cause of the +dmg of siphon power and fulcrum, combined with -regen in transfusion. Overall for speedruns I still would prefer a kin any day over a rad.

PS: I got a fair share of experience with TF speedruns, tho I still prefer doing eden <30 mins

PPS: Having a bad attitude against your fellow teammembers is sure to let you have many "successful" speedruns in the future..

RE: Death BAdger, maybe if u had listen from the start and listened in the final mish, i wouldnt have ahd to resort to extreme measure, it worked though and got the job done, you were one of the incompedent people who wenrt listen throughout most of the tf. If its ne-one fault for what happen its yours and 3 others for not listening.

This is the end of this. You have offically wrecked TF saturday and sunday now, becoz people like you dont listen, if u did we would have no prob in the first place. and btw ne more of this and i'll ask for this thread to be deleted

Changed it to a tank and a kin.

and too the PPS. Its not my fault some team mates dont listen or read what was going on from the start.
Desperate time called for desperate measures, and it worked.
So it worked even if it did cause negative rep. I got the job done w/out hesitating, 4 wernt listening, and we were running outta time.


We beat the 75min barrier by 3 mins. If they listened from the 3rd min in the mish we would have broken the 70min marker

New Fast Time for Manti... 72mins (1h 12m), if neone has been this in a team of 8/7 pls let us know

Sorry your feelings were hurt but if you would have given the OP the chance you would have recieved a sincere apology.

1) Speed run to me does not equate to we must beat a certain time

2) I think you will find that I was the only member of the team that had full invisibility (Cloak of Darkness and Stealth IO) and I was stood next to the AV while you lot were trying to run through mission with speed boost (and dieing) It wasn't a case of me not listening, but a case of you not assembling a team that could actually cover all the bases required for a speed run (an illusion troller would have shaved a lot of time off the run, Damage is not the answer, debuffers increase the damage output by more than an extra blaster). I think your reaction in this thread shows the level of maturity we are dealing with here. (If things don't go my way i'll stamp my feet and hold my breath and call you names bwah.)

iirc u were not the most compedent of scrappers ive ever seen either, and you were making a mess of things through out, ur not a team player bud, thanks for helping break the record, but u refused to help in most cases. and yes we have logs. the only one who is looking stupid now is you. I reccomend u keep stum next tim u think opening ur mouth and flaming is a good idea. WE Have more ammo on u if needs be (not a threat just a statement)

oh to the blaster and debuffers, debuffers are slow, and do less damage, might have saved us time on Hopkins but not on the rest of the tf, due to the nature of this TF where u have to peg and kill a certain area, Damage dealers outwieght Debuffers for the majority of this tf.

Also what does 'speed run' equate to in your terms?

And do you remember hitting on Flames for disconnecting? That wasnt very nice and completely uncalled for. Want me to quote that back to you badger?

I think actually the only one looking stupid here is you. You have a reputation for being abusive and argumentative in the Union Badgehunters Channel. Later that same night you also got into an argument with someone else. In what way did I refuse to help I wonder? I was ghosting missions as I had full invisiblity and also stating what needed to be done in the ghostable missions (ie we need to kill the security agent and mobs around him, we need to kill people on hostage etc). And if we need to discuss competence, I wasn't the one who spent the whole AV fight dead because I stood next to him when he was firing off his AOEs. I think anyone will realise from your statement regarding debuffers that you are frightfully unaware of how to play the game well.

And yes I was sceptical that someone disconnected for 20 mins then managed to reconnect as we started the final mission.

Tbh, this whole discussion is silly and has a big "yeah-ah!" "nuh-uh!" to it. Not to mention afaik naming and shaming and flaming is against the board rules. Please now dont refrain to the "HE started it!" discussion I foresee coming now as that wont be any constructive either would it?

I can see DB's annoyance from the team, and frankly I probably wouldve been annoyed in the same situation. The discussion however has gotten way outta hand here and I'd advice the both of you to drop the weapons, agree to not team together anymore or whatever and just stop degenerating this thread even further.

Statements like "we got more ammo on you" or "you are not competent" wont get you any further does it? So whats the need for stating those things? Just end this discussion cause the way its going now will only get it locked and/or deleted.

if it get locked deleted it means it nefer comes up again. and Nefarious u werent there, i had several complaints about DB, the only reason why he thinks he was useful was becoz we ghosted it clear all he did was click a friend of mine diod most of the killing and on Hopkins i didnt see much attack i was face planting coz he didnt take the aggro until the tank got there

being there or not, I'm here on the forum, meaning I'm here during this whole discussion. If you guys really want to discuss it like that, do it in private without the rest of the community having to suffer it. Right now its just a struggle to compete for being right in a community that prolly doesnt care who is right or not
