It has now been revealed that the disaster at the Chiron Medical Centre in Atlas Park last Thursday was the result of an assassination and kidnapping. Nineteen year old Sabrina San, better known as the young hero Dragonfly was brutally murdered after giving birth to twins. Her husband Hayate San, also known as Genesis Blade was also attacked and although the couple fought tremendously against all odds, they were eventually outnumbered by Tsoo warriors and gunmen of the Family.
The casualty to date was said to have been over thirty dead and twenty injured. When police arrived on the scene, they managed to apprehend several injured members of the Tsoo gang and one member of the Family who apparently had been involved in a fight with the Tsoo following an insult on his sexuality. An investigation is currently being carried out on why Dragonflys twins, one boy and one girl were of such significance to the criminal groups. However, there have been speculations that the Circle of Thorns may also be involved.
It is yet unknown how the criminals escaped the detection of Police Drones, but it is highly likely that Tsoo sorcerers snuck past en mass, under the cover of bad weather. Twelve civilians were injured during the raid, mostly staff within the hospital, also, seven civilian deaths, including the two retired heroes, Dragonfly and Genesis Blade. Sharkhead Isles - Villa Requin Island
Overlooking the Sea, Family henchmen stand guard at the air-strip on Villa Requin as a small Passenger Jet taxies into position for take-off.
As the ramp descends, Vincent Zampelli boards the plane, followed by several shady looking characters dressed in black. Each carrying dark sports bags filled to the brim with equipment.
The Jet's cabin is a testament to the luxury experienced by those that the find the Family's favour. A large video screen flanks the in-flight bar, each seat is leather, with enough leg-room for a 9ft man, and champagne is on hand from the stewardess.
Each of the men find their own seat, with Vincent sitting comfortably infront of the Video screen. He presses a button in his arm rest and it flickers to life, with the picture of Emil Marcone sitting behind his desk.
"Vincent. This is a pre-recorded message, to wish you well on your trip. Good luck with the hunt for your Sister, I understand you've gathered together a crack team of our best men and equipment."
Over Vinnie's shoulder, one of the men, with a scar across his face, digs into his bag, pulling out a pair of Night-Vision goggles that are attached to a Jet Black Stealth-Suit.
"...Come back in one peice Vinnie. China's a dangerous country and I'm looking forward to meeting Veronica when you get back."
The screen flickers and fades to black, as Vincent picks up his copy of the Paragon Times to read the headline story.
'Time to lay low', Vinnie thinks to himself.
The Jet's engines fire up with a whirr as the plane makes its way into the sky destined for China.
