Finding a supergroup shouldn't be too much of a problem going by just one of your criteria ... active.
There really is only a handfull I can think of which meet that criteria but I allow them to put themselves forward. Not sure if you checked out the villain recruitment thread - http://uk.boards.cityofheroes.com/sh...Number=492662. Its a bit old and thus a number of the supergroups have folded (off top of my head Violators, Order of Reckoning). Our supergroup is the 4th post down (EVIL) so that gives a brief summary of us.
Space in our supergroup is still hard to come by but I am sure I be able to find space if you decided you wanted to join us. We are active, very established and friendly but I am not bias or anything.
You can catch me in game @Max Powerz although I wont be on tonight until late evening. If you were wanting to join a supergroup today then could send a global tell to @Sam the Seed or @Thermatron.

i run dark lords of the underworld we are a group of long term cohers who still enjoy the game dont take it to seriouse as far as base and all that we are about the same lvl as evil however there more about pvp than well everybody lol we always got room for those looking for a home just drop kick an alt or two when we need to.
to get ahold of myself its @bru as grave said but i sugest you have a look at the recrutment thread you might find exactly what your after there istead of settling for our two coz we offered. if you wont any advice on a group or info both myself and max will be happy to help.

Hi, Im @Rawhide and I'm leader of the Horde VG, We are are a very active Villain Group that are part of a much bigger community called MoX www.moxguild.com MoX have guilds and Clans in every single game you can think of and are very successful in all of them, MoX WoW currently have more than 500 Active members. And MoX Lord of the rings has started to flourish too.
We operate our own servers for FPS games and for Teamspeak at no cost to our members.
We operate a 18+ policy to ensure we keep Leetspeak and hissy fits to a minimum.
We can create space within the horde by removing a few alts.
The Horde do a bit of everything in the game, but nothing to excess, we dont PvP daily and we don't run TF's daily, however we do have fun every day of the week. Theres always a Horde team of some description doing something, but you are never forced to join in.

Yes I looked at the recruitment thread but since most posts were 2005 or so I wanted to check who was still around/active. But I've read over the info and visited the webpages of those posting here.
Next I'd like to talk to one or more of you ingame. Cause as I said I feel I have questions 
hopefully my mind will settle after that.

juat thought i would add that all of us who have posted here about our groups so far are actuly coalitioned so no matter who you pic you are gona end up with a good group and ingame comunity and i recon we would also probibly all recomend each other lol so any questions you know where to find us

Also I apologize if I came of as harsh in this thread. I have a tendency to seem that way, I'm really a fluffy bunny. I just like to get to the point some times.
Second, while I feel bad about creating an entire thread about little old me I feel I must.
I recently bought the CoH/CoV package cause I played CoH a little bit a few years ago and I wanted to try it out again, especially with CoV.
Well, recently means last night. Heh.
Currently a 7 Tech Corruptor.
The reason for why I'm making this post so sudden is cause I'm already starting to remember why I left the game the last time. None of my friends from other games played this game and thus it quickly got boring running trough missions alone. Also since at least where I am nobody is really talking about SG's yet.
So here I am. I looked trough some of the posts from SG's but they all looked allmost the same. But mainly that most threads were started in 2005 lead me to wanting to see whos still as active.
So about me.
Hi, I'm a male, 21 years old from Norway and I consider myself a mature gamer. I tend to be very active in the games I play.
I like to roleplay, but not all the time.
I like pvping in groups, but not all the time.
I really like to be social, most of the time.
I like to play PVE, and been known to grind quite a bit.
My favorite part of a game is a good story.
What I want from a SG:
I want a chat group with friendly funny people.
I want to team up at times since just soloing gets boring in the end.
I want to be able to ask a couple dumb questions when I have them. But most of the time I like to find the answers myself.
And I want you to make me apart of whatever else SG's do which I'm not familiar with.
I have played active endgame in mmo's such as Anarchy Online and World of Warcraft. Other mmos I have played is GW, DnL, PS, SWG, EVE, DAoC, CoH and others I might have forgotten.
