((What follows is an IC introduction to my character. I'm new to this server, this game but NOT to RP. My RP credits are vast but suffice to say I'm circa 1982, original D and D. You can respond either here or in game. Anyway... on with the show!))
((BTW, no snoring))

Domino snapped her fingers back with a hiss of pain, a slight grimace rippling across her dirty, bloodied features. The scent of burnt wiring lay heavy in the air and damaged lights flickered, casting icy blue-white shadows. Turning her head upward, she bit her lower lip in anticipation, the glow of the lights reflected in her government issue glasses.
"Come on. Make at least one thing about this day _not_ suck." she growled, her voice lost against the sudden explosion of machinery come to life.
Domino stared at the generator in front of her, a crooked, disbelieving smile showing white teeth against soot darkened skin.
"I'd kiss you if I didn't think you shock the hell out of me." she whispered to the generator.
It coughed once, as though in warning and the steady steaming lights flickered. Domino backed away hurridly, raising oilstained hands.
"It's all good. I'll come back when you're less [censored] at me."
Turning, Domino took stock in the destruction that lay about her. Her initial desire was to throw her hands up and weep, to allow the hopelessness she'd felt for the past month to finally overwhelm her. How easy it would be to just give up, to surrender.
Instead she exhaled slowly, locking down her emotions under the caged pit in her heart and began to assess the damage.
If anything the Rikti had been thourogh in their destruction. Not a sitck of furniture, not a bit of metal lay unbroken, burnt or dented. The scent of blood and death permiated every scortched inch of the stone around her. Domino knew there was no point in searching for survivors, there were none.
They'd all made a pact at the height of the Rikti onslaught, when it became clear there was no hope. None of them would leave anything behind for the invaders to use.
As she finished her assessment of the damage, Domino exhaled deeply once more, counting as she calmed herself.
The Ouroborus Tower had once held over a thousand rooms, each one filled with wonders and people just as wonderous.
And all of it was gone. The Tower now existed with only two scortched and empty rooms.
"MIDAS, are you there?" she asked, hating how her voice broke slightly with the weight of emotion.
Domino waited, nails biting into her palms as she waited for MIDAS, the Military Intellegence and Data Anaysis System. ******* could be tempermental.
After long moments, MIDAS spoke sounding oddly distant through the broken speaker systems.
"Domino... we made it?" He said, his tones both soothing and worried.
"We did, MIDAS but it's not good. Hero Corps, MAGI, SERAPH, and Longbow all exist here. I've managed to patch you into them but there's no firewalls. There's two powers here... Phalanx and Arachnos that seem to be the primes. As far as I know you're transmiting." she said.
"I'll amend that. Then Timestamp and Fluidity Mal were correct? We were able to jump realities?" MIDAS allowed a measure of hope to infect his vocals.
Domino could only nod slightly.
"MIDAS, do what you can between the generators and yourself. I'm going topside and see where we ended up. Take care of things." she said, moving to the transporter filled with lightening.
"Domino, you where right to decide this. Ouroboros always exists, once again we survived." MIDAS chimed in, trying to sound cheerful.
Domino felt her control crack, a single tear falling for her fellow members. Timestamp, Fluidity Mal, Ms. Vogue... all of them gone. Either dead or lost through the Step they'd made through time and reality.
"Yeah. We'll see."
And with that Domino stepped into the teleporter and was transported to Atlas Park...
"Yeah, MIDAS

"Yeah, MIDAS, Ouroboros survived yet again. Yahoo, whoopie for us." she muttered into her comm, sarcasm dripping from her droll tone.
She stepped out from the pocket dimension that housed what was left of Ouroboros Tower into the brillaint, clean sunlight of Atlas Park. For a long moment Domino stood as though frozen, eyes behind her glasses darting, ears straining, inhaling deeply. Her body seemed frozen in a loose combat stance as she tried to focus on where she was.
**Ms. Liberty... the statue of Atlas... the air clean... ish.**
Nearby various heroes gathered, talking and laughing with each other.
Domino slowly relaxed and headed towards Ms. Liberty. This was the test, the moment that would prove whether the Step into this time and reality had succeeded or failed.
She gazed at Ms. Liberty from a distance, heart in her throat as her entire body seemed locked in the emotion. Gone was the dark costume Ms. Liberty normally wore, the blade in it's sheath and not in her hand. Ms. Liberty appeared to be helping those around her instead of slaying them.
Domino turned away and slowly gathered gravity around her, bending it's constantly fluxing energy around her body and launched skyward.
She flew without aim, only marveling on this reality enjoying a brief moment that did not involve conflict.
