I have a claws/regen and hasten comes in very handy it allows you to heal more often and ofcourse the attack chain gets faster 2 
but hasten is never a must more of a good plus so try to fit it in ure build
I'd advise to Get It.Slot It.Love It. 
Comes in realy handy for Parry spammage, and it's usefull for getting Build Up back alot faster, and doing the BU+HeadSplitter and Dismbowel combo, it's realy handy. Also, it's good for getting Instant Healing back quick and Dull Pain.

Yeah it can be, but I find slotting it with a few SOs' in the main powers counters that.
Hasten goes will with /regen too as you have lots of clickpowers rather than toggles (Reconstruction, Dull Pain, IH, MoG if you take it)

Aye forgot to mention them. I just realy find that Dull Pain/Instant Healing are the ones you rely on more, and Reconstruction comes back quick enough I find, and if you do use MoG then you've probably used it in a crucial point and it'll be back well in time for when needed.
Well for Claws/Regen i can tell you....hasten is absolutly useful in some situations....faster healing was allready mentioned....but most important to me is the fast recharge of shockwave and focus....i can keep almost any boss i can hit in perma knockdown with hasten....really useful....dunno if your control abilties with broadsword can do something like it too though, never tested the swords
