Base entrance room?
I moved the plot under it. Click on same size plot in upgrade plot mode and reposition. Might not be suitable for your problem but it worked for mine.
Stone Pharoah:Tanker Lvl 50 Stone/SS
Robospike:Mastermind Lvl 50 Robotics/FF/Mu
Static Burn:Blaster Lvl 50 Fire/Electric/Munitions
Hidden Burn:Tanker Lvl 50 Fire/Dark

Hmm this must be some form of blocking or connectivity issue..
Does it say anything on the system channel, an error or anything?
Are any rooms going to end up disconnected if you move the room?
If the rooms are 2x2, try to remove all objects from both squares, the game does not necessarily place the corridor correctly, ie, if the other side would allow connecting the game may want to place the corridor to the side where there is something blocking it..

@Hammer: Yeah, about to try that. It's a bit silly though, mind you, the whole base thing is smacktarded at times. That freaking base continuity thing does my head in, I get why it shouldn't be allowed to leave a room floating, but while editing it's freaking annoying!
Hammer's the man, the base editor however, is most certainly not.

This is what I had to do in the end, because the editor just refused to let me move the entrance any other way (even after I emptied it and also emptied that side of the room I wanted to move it to).
On a side note, I noticed you can rotate the Portal to change the direction it throws you out. No more facing the wall for me!
I just wish there was a visual indication of the rotating. :\

It won't always work though - I've tried that so many times, but after a while you still end up facing the wall when you come in - and I've had our portal rotated to all four cardinal points.
There's another thread kicking around at the moment where some posters are speculating it depends on which direction you're facing in the outdoor zone when you click the portal, but I'm not sure it's that.
Well, basically, I'm trying to move the base entrance room around to the other side of a decorative room. The editor says it should allow it, IE; it turns the room Blue. There's no decorative items blocking it etc... and both rooms are on the same floor level.
But, every time I click, it won't take. I've tried re-logging, different toons, removing all decorative stoofz...
It's gotten to the point where if I want to expand the base I'd have to complete redesign most of it, whereas if I could swing this entrance to the side it'd free up enough room to make the changes I want to. Any help?
