Character Back Story

Hey all,
Ive been asked by my SG leader to write an extended background for my character (shes a AR/Rad corr) - the background on my id card thing leads to the conclusion that she was part of the Manson family who later got involved with voodoo - so a fairly creepy character! This is what Ive come up with - what do you think? - I apologise in advance to the faint hearted - it gets quite gruesome so feel free to stop reading now! I've tried keeping it third person to keep it creepy

She was just an ordinary girl.
She did ordinary things.
She played with her dolls, she baked cakes, she drowned her sister at the age of 8, she helped her Mum sew dresses, she was the apple of her Daddies eye, she had killed 6 local tramps by the age of 13.
She did ordinary things.

When she pushed her Mum down the stairs at the age of 14 she was sent to the hospital for tests – she doesn’t know how the doctor fell on that scalpel. Or the nurse.

Disowned by her doting Father and paralysed Mother at the age of 15 she felt anger for the first time. She didn’t want to do ordinary things after that – she wanted a purpose, a reason, a mission, mostly she wanted a Father again.

That’s when she met Charlie, Charlie wanted to be a musician, Charlie would love her, Charlie would help her, Charlie was her saviour. Charlie loved her and bought plenty of people to love her too.

Her and some friends moved in with Charlie at the Old blind man’s ranch some time later – he was a nice old man he never stopped them having fun (he had no idea what fun they were having). It was around about that time that she forgot what her real name was – Charlie liked them to swap names once a week or so. Charlie was clever, Charlie was the saviour – Charlie knew best.

Charlie knew there were people in the world who didn’t deserve to be in the world – she and her friends helped Charlie remove them, cleanse them, let them begin anew – it’s a shame they never got that film director but they got those close to him – she helped them. She helped them ride the Helter Skelter – let them refresh themselves, so they could stop being the Piggies they were, maybe give them a chance to become people again.

That was when Shea became a problem - Charlie wouldn’t let them use guns on him so they cut him, she cut him up good, they didn’t stop cutting him till they had to use 16 different graves. He was a threat to Charlie – Charlie was our saviour – nobody was allowed to threaten him – ever! And she did like to use her knife.

She was out when they came to the ranch, she was off rounding up that nights entertainment, when she got back the ranch was empty - she had to kill the nights entertainment on her own.

She was on her own – it wasn’t until she heard the album The Love and Terror Cult that she realised Charlie didn’t love her, Charlie had never loved any of them.

She was angry for the second time in her life – she didn’t want to do ordinary things any more. She wanted to stay angry.

That was when she saw the comet – the beautiful comet – she followed the comet, killing for money, torturing for fun.

The comet led her to the West Indies where she first encountered Voodoo, where she became adept at the Odeah, the power of shadows. She realised all the death, all the blood until now, that was just her baptism, now she was born again!

Charlie was nothing, Charlie was an amateur, Charlie was bound by the flesh. Flesh is weak, flesh dies, flesh is merely a housing. She learnt, she studied , she became the master, she challenged the Loa themselves. Fearing the challenge she presented, the Loa banded together and swore that no knife would be her tool again, with no knife the black arts would be beyond her. If she was to pick up a knife again she would only be able to turn it on her own flesh. They underestimated her – she had stared too deep into the shadow magic, she did not need the flesh any more. To spite them she filled her own mouth with salt and sewed it shut. Normally the mark of death for those powered by the Loa, her gift was such that she sealed the power of the Loa within her. She turned the gift of the Loa to destruction – they did not obey her but she became a conduit using their power to make all flesh weak.

The Loa were angry and banded together, unable to harm her, they managed to use their collective power to ensure that all she saw was the very desolation of all hell itself – to stare into the very face of the Devil of all Faiths.

She became angry again, picked up a silver knife and plucked her own eyes out – it is rumoured that to spite the Devil she buried her eyes in holy ground for when you look upon the Devil the Devil looks upon you – she caused the very devil of all faiths to feel pain!

As such she was cast down from Hell, further down than any soul has been cast before, the Devil has never feared anything before now. Now he fears and respects her but will never let her into Hell for fear of her anger.

She now roams the Rogue Islands causing flesh to rot in her presence as the masters of the shadows taught her, using a gun to cause pain until she can use her favourite knife again.

Those that get to know her call her Hells Fallen Angel.

She was just an ordinary girl.
She did ordinary things.

Wow. I liked that! I so really wish to know her now... challenge her. *wink* You know... reading it as the third-person worked really well. It effectively dramatised the darkness of the girl's person. Rather unfortunate though that this part confused me:

That was when Shea became a problem - Charlie wouldn’t let them use guns on him so they cut him, she cut him up good, they didn’t stop cutting him till they had to use 16 different graves. He was a threat to Charlie – Charlie was our saviour – nobody was allowed to threaten him – ever! And she did like to use her knife.

Ah thats a blatant reference to a Manson family event!

although yup I do swap between she and they a bit much - oddly there was someone involved who was skeptical about CM's claim to be Jesus - well anyway I dont think this is the time or place to go into details - Im sure that google or wikipedia can eloborate

YMMV, but personally, I find basing a computer game character on a real life sick and evil murderer, to be rather distatefull...
