So basically you want what everybody wants in a Brute.
First of all, you need to decide if res to toxic or psi is important. Next, which abilities would you like to have too (fear, end drain, etc).
From what you described I can tell you that /Fire and /Dark won't suit you. Good res, but they lack some mez protection.

im thinking on what gives high res to s/l and all the energies like fire, cold , energy etc etc . with of course also some good mez pro tec , but i wanna be able to stand in fight without loosing so much life .
