Looks very promising, regarding the left arm,i think in foreshortening the arm you have squashed the cylinders that intially you base the arms on, try rounding them up a little.
Regarding reference images....all you need is a mirror dear, you may feel silly but we all do it! - amateurs right up to the masters like Alex Ross who poses in full spandex with moody backlighting for his reference images! 
A mirror? *shudder*. Was hoping to avoid that ..

) and i cannot seem to get a suitable left arm on the fella.(i am aware of the right forearm, that i can and have sorted already, its just an old export)
Now, i have been tackling this for a little while, (5hours
Is there anyone that could help me in getting the foreshortening/proportion correct? or point me in the direction of a suitable reference image? oO
