I like this idea, and the quoted example, It would be very nice if we could have an Editable plaque that we could fill in like with the ID info, anyone clicking on the tomb/memorial plaque could then read all about the fallen hero/heroine in question.
I love the idea of plaques that can be customised. That, and editable signs (I think this was also covered) would be incredibly useful, as would the odd base sized hero statue.
I can't see that this would be very difficult but given the devs have other issues, maybe it would be a good reward type thing, like a vet reward or somethng?

i dont think its so much that the devs are very busy i thnk its more the so royaly messed up the hole CoP thing that there trying to forget bases are actuly here lol
but ther ehas alot of us been asking for this kind of thing for a long long while would be a very nice touch
