EM/EA power advice for I7 respec

Im trying to plan a respec build for I7, but I just cant decide which to go for... I could really use some advice from some more experienced Stalkers who know how the powers work when used properly...

1) Do I go for Stamina or just use the Energy Drain ability in the EA set? I usually tend to hit and run, so to stand in the middle of a group and un-hide with Energy Drain is tantamount to suicide, but to get Stamina means a pool power set and 3 powers used...

2) Do I get Fly, Teleport or both? I hate teleporting across zones, but its better for PvP escape - both would be great, but its an extra power pool...

3) Is the Medicine pool worth it? I'd like the self heal if I could fit it in, but - you guessed it...its another pool and 2 powers. If I do take it, how should I slot it?

4) Is Energy Transfer worth it? I got it at 26 before, but I never use it - am I nerfing myself by not using a decent attack?

5) Are the EA defensive powers worth taking? Entropy shield is fantastic, but I never really use the other two, as Im never around long enough to scrap. I can see where they would be useful, but are they worth it?

I also have a couple of question with the new Patron powers...

6) If the snipe damage is as low as they say (Hide+Snipe is less powerful then a Blaster snipe) is it worth getting the plain range attack instead? Runners have low health anyway, and AS is far better while hidden than snipe)..

And finally 7) how would a pet be useful to a Stalker? If we hide, and they dont, then any hero will see us coming a mile off.

Please help!

Firstly Energy Transfer is a cool attack, as are most of the EM powers, it may do some damage to you but the attack damage is huge.
Also think about the pet, you find your pray, summon the pet next to them, by then you will know if they can see you or not. Then let them fight this pet that is seemingly not with anyone and that its just a pet and easy to kill, it knocks their health down a bit, when they've lost some health, then you attack.

lo m8, here's my 2 cents...

1)For my build stamina is a must, especially as TP is an end hog anyway, it also has a big advantage when it come to getting mobile with hurdle.

2)I hated TP to start with found it a pain to use and an end hog, lost way too much time resting cause of no end, But as you say it's handy for escaping (as we EM/MA are very squidgy) and pretty essential for pvp, plus with stamina slotted with 3 end red's you wont run out of end with tp. Personally i'd skip fly, it's slow and easily stopped with -fly, if you were to take CJ, and slot it with 3 jump SO's, combine that with 3 slotted hurdle from stamina and you essentially have sj but without the height, it also has the benefit that like TP, CJ is unsurpressed in pvp and you gain some extra defense.

3) self heal, wouldnt bother, better off running and waiting for hide, we so squidgy i cant really see any benefit from self heal, more so when it's also interruptable.

4) Is energy transfer worth it...HELL YES!!!! , 3 slotted for damage, it rocks, ok it doesnt benefit from hide (apart from it uses half the amount of your health, that it does out of hide) but with buildup>AS>ET, practially every blaster, troller, or defender will be dead in 2 hits.

5) i have kinetic and entropy shields only and rarely use kinetic apart from PVE even 3 slotted your looking at only around 11% damage, but at least with stamina there's no end issue.

lol ran out of room to type see next post

try again

6) I'm not sold as far as patron powers go, I cant see there's much need for a snipe, though a hold would be handy to stop hero's running.

7) Again not so sure about pets, may be a help soloing AV's and heroes, but then i dont normally solo them as they're more fun to do in a team, i think i'll be doing some testing on the test server before i decide which path to go down when choosing a patron.
