i do know its one of the easiest ones to get bored with as it seems to be a one trick pony and alot peoples fire/ice builds are very very similar in build. your lvl 38 power is said to be a pointless waste on a firetank as you only wake them up again. Throughout most of the game there is great benefit from the fact you have great shields like fire shield and plasma shield plus knockbacks on the ice patch.

I have offen wondered what Burn/Ice Patch would be like now as mobs could not run away *remembers the good old days*
only thing i didnt like the look of in ice was the lack of an AoE atack. i could be wrong there?
One tip on fire if you have not got it, get Acrobatics for the Knockback i respec'd it in at 44 coz nearly ever mob will get you on your bum.

I have a 50 fire/ice, and as has been said, it really is a one trick pony, for a while. Your only real damage is the burn/ice patch combo, that said it does work well. While mobs are bouncing they cant do as much damage, and cant run from burn, so they melt, albeit slower than they used to.
I have burn slotted 3dmg/3rch and ice patch 1rech/1end red, just to lower end usage a little, everything helps!
The only AoE in /ice is frost breath* which is a cone, its not bad but its not fire sword circle. Change frozen aura to ice sword circle dammit!
Once you get the epics you can access fireball which is a great AoE. Slot it 3dmg/1acc/1end/1rech and combo it with burn/ice patch to melt those mobs away. Fireball can also be used as an aggro pulling tool, just whack a mob with it to get insta aggro with added damage.

Yo, just thought i'd shout out to the peps on union! Been playing since the beta created heaps of alts and finally settled into a fire/ice tank! Nice to meet everyone on here, seem like a cool group of people!

Whats the deal with Fire/Ice now? People have complained about the set but its still a kick [censored] type to use!
Am i on my own? I'm a 38 tank and loving every minute, i'm taking on mobs 3 levels above myself, the only issue im having is end.
