But rooms can be tricky to delete if more than one other room opens off it (You can't have rooms in bases that are not connected to the rest of the base).

Exept the plot. You dont get a refund if you are chosing a cheaper plot or a discount when chosing a more expensive one.

Strange, during the CoV beta I changed plot sizes several times and was always refunded the same amount of presige that the plot originally cost.

I believe that the only exception to this is items created with Salvage - if you remove these (or the room they're in), you'll lose the item (and thus the Salvage used to create it).

That was certainly my experience. I'm not aware of any changes to this.
Im sure crafted items are sold for prestige.
I accidently sold a telepad in beta and it came up with the 'You have sold a telepad for ...... prestige'.
Not having got high enough in the beta to experience base building, I was wondering if you buy a room then decide you dont want that room can you sell it and get a full refund like you can with things placed in there?
I may have been a bit hasty and bought a workshop when in fact i needed a control room.

Be grateful if someone could let me know as I dont want to lose the prestige that the room cost if i delete it.
