Can't connect to game at all, help??

I click the icon on my desktop and the launcher pops up but all I get is connecting... #1, #2, etc. it was working fine earlier, now it is really annoying me. How do I fix this?

monday morning maintenance give it another hour and it will fix itself when the servers come back online
