Try petselect_name
Assuming a pet named "cupcake" ...
/macro blah "petselect_name Cupcake"
or
/macro blah "+$$Unselect$$petselect_name Cupcake$$powexecname nullify pain"
or
/macro blah "+$$Unselect$$petselect_name Cupcake$$powexecname nullify pain$$targetenemyNear"
Test it on a macro before you try to write it into any complex bind system. I don't recall if they have to be in LoS for that command to work or not.

Just made it to 50 with my first MM! Necro/Pain is hella-fun and I suggest you try it if you haven't already.
Anyhoo, I am using Sandolphins guide to the letter but one issue I am having is having to flip to mouse to quickly albeit frantically heal my stupid zombies.... I can't figure out a good way to keybind a heal to minions. Basically I would love to just bind shift+j, shift+K, etc.. to select one of my idiots then i would choose how to heal.
I tried the bind/suggestion of binding the "/" key like Sandolphin has in the post, but it doesn't select them. I want to select then chose to sooth or whatever.. you ge the picture..
