Unpublish saves local copy?

Hi,

Does unpublishing an arc save it locally for editing? I had an arc that was published as well as an old local copy. I unpublished to play around with the Issue 15 settings, but seems like my local copy is still the old one. Maybe I'm just imagining this though...

If you want to unpublish, make sure you go into edit mode on the live arc and do a 'save as local story and stop working on the published arc' before you unpublish. I learned the hard way that unpublishing wipes out the file from the server and doesn't save a copy on your local.

Unpublishing does NOT save a local copy. If you have a local copy from when you published, and you've made edits to the published copy, the local copy is now out of date.

In other words:
Before you unpublish, go into edit mode of the published version, select save or save as and ensure you have saved a local copy of the published work.

Then unpublish.
