Need an Axe Guide for Tanker Secondary
I have an Axe guide for Brutes in my sig, the powers are the same though how tankers use and slot them can be a bit different. They changed some of the power names last year, which does make older Axe guides a bit confusing.

I have yet to read any guides on Battle Axe, but I can do my best to help you. I am a firm believer on picking your powers on what you feel you need and/or for concept.
Myself the only powers I did not take from Battle Axe were Chop, Gash and Build Up. I am not a tank that is there to do damage, I am a meat shield and proud of it. My build is part concept; therefore, I made sure not to bother with what I felt was the lower end of the powers (Chop and Gash).
If you are going to set out your character with IO Sets, then what you want to accomplish should be in your mind then just browse the sets and see what you can get out of them. I wanted Regen, Defense, Accuracy and Recharge. So, I ended up getting Obliterations, Mako's Bites, and Perfect Zinger's.
But as I said everyone is different and no build is 'wrong'. I can give some advice on slotting, but it's what I would do. Sets and regular IOs for you to look over, and I'll even give my idea on how I would slot the powers I didn't take.
Beheader (available at level 1) ; Melee, Moderate DMG(Lethal), Foe Knockdown
- 6 slot this with Perfect Zinger's
or
- 2 acc/3 dmg/1 recharge or end redux
Chop (available at level 2) ; Melee, High DMG(Lethal), Foe Knockdown
- 6 slot with Mako's Bite
or
- 2 acc/3 dmg/1 recharge or end redux
Gash (available at level 4) ; Melee, Superior DMG(Lethal), Foe Knockdown
- 6 slot with Mako's Bite
or
- 2 acc/3 dmg/1 recharge or end redux
Taunt (available at level 10)
- 6 slot with Perfect Zinger's

- 2 acc/3 taunt/1 recharge
Build Up (available at level 16)
- 5 slot with Adjusted Targetting
or
- 6 slot with Gaussian's Synchronized Fire-Control
or
- 3 recharge/3 tohit
Swoop (available at level 20) ; Melee, Superior DMG(Lethal), Foe Knockup
- 6 slot with Mako's Bite
or
- 2 acc/3 dmg/1 recharge or end redux
Whirling Axe (available at level 28) ; PBAoE Melee, Moderate DMG(Lethal), Foe Knockdown
- 6 slot with Obliteration

- 2 acc/3 dmg/1 recharge or end redux
Cleave (available at level 35) ; Melee, Extreme DMG(Lethal), Foe Knockdown

I have been searching around the forums and still have yet to find a good battle axe guide. Was wondering if someone knew of one or could help me out on picking abilites and slotting.
