QoL: Remove Hasten's Constant FX

Quick Version: Remove the Hasten's contant "firey" hands. Just get rid of the FX entirely or end the visualization when it reaches the hands.

So I was at the tailor the other day on one of my toons and I was playing around with different costumes. There's no real logical way of explaining this, but after playing around with it a while, the auras I used to hate so much seem to have worked their way into my heart. After finding the perfect look... (that is obviously a matter of opinion), I hit the accept button and waived my fee as I usually do and set out to kill-err defeat some council. I didn't notice it until I got in the mission, but suddenly my electric hands weren't so... electrifying. Instead, I couldn't see anything except my hands being on fire.

So, my request is that Hasten's constant effects are removed. Not changed, just removed. Why? Because it is a loud effect for no reason. Ok, so with that said, I know defensive toggles have this thing about always being rather loud. Best example of this is Granite Armor. So some would say, "Removing hasten hands would justify my argument of removing the FX from _______." Yes, yes it would I suppose, but at the same time the rock outcropping encasing your flesh is protecting you, or the searing fire is sheilding you, or the ice is deflecting objects. I can't think of any real good reason why my hands should be on fire aside from the idea that they are moving so fast that my hands are constantly burning.

The problem with it is... that some people like it.

If they ever decide to do the huge rewrite that power customization would require, I'm sure this would be part of it.

It's true the lingering FX doesn't "fit" with some of my character concepts.
But I actually like the current FX for my "fire" based characters.

I do know enough people have "hated on" Hasten’s FX over the years that some people have even suggested that the Devs make a new "non-FX" version of Hasten in a similar fashion to the way they made the Prestige Sprint powers. The net result would be two identical powers which only differed by whether they had FX or not. Naturally the Devs could limit it so a character could only ever have one version of this power per build.

The problem with that "solution" is that once the Devs went down the slippery slope of making multiple FX versions of one power then people would start requesting different versions of other powers. It would end up being a convoluted form of Power Customization via having multiple hardwired versions of every power in existence. It'd be an implementation nightmare for the Devs.

I think until the Devs ever give us "real" Power Customization we are going to have to be stuck with the one version of Hasten we have. *shrugs*
