Optional Objectives in Nav Bar
You could mention them either in the main mission's nav title, or in the mission's opening/accepted dialogue. You could also have a clue from a required objective mention the optional objective.
Try putting text in both singular and plural. I've seen plenty of optionals showing, including one arc where the savvy creator made the optional navigation text in light blue to distinguish it from required objectives.

Yep. Put the text in both boxes and it will show up whether it is required or not. The blue highlighting is just to make it stand out as something different as writing (optional) for multiple objectives can eat up a lot of room.
For the story I am working on, the player usually has 1 or 2 objectives. However, I also included other objectives that the player can finish that will give more background, but they aren't required to continue the main plot.
I would like those optional objectives to appear in the Nav Bar, so players know they are there if they want to look for them (as they are usually an AV).
As far as I can tell, there is no way to get those optional objectives to appear on the Navigation Bar.
I tried putting text in the Navigation Text (singular) box. But when I test the mission, it does not show up in the Nav Bar.
Does anyone have any other ideas or workarounds I could try?
