I deleted all of my old arcs some time ago and hadn't looked at making a new AE arc for some time. This isn't because I dislike the Architect Entertainment. I just couldn't think of anything to make until recently.

Arc Name:The Secret of Nemesis Gas
Arc ID: 416665
Morality:Villainous
Faction: Nemesis, Rikti
Creator Global/Forum Name: @Mr Grey/Mr_Grey
Difficulty Level: Moderate
Synopsis: The Nemesis Army has shells that have a sickly, corrosive gas. It's been wondered where this gas comes from. Today, you shall learn the secret.

Made for humor and my first foray into the latest incarnation of Architect Entertainment.

Finally I feel like I've made something I can just be happy with.

New Links because I'm sure the old ones don't work anymore...

My Beautiful Misery

Malaise travels to Praetorian Earth.

(Oh, thank Jebus, links still work like the old board...)

Forever and a Day

DeviousMe convinced me to start this adventure. It petered out after a while. I wish we could have finished it, but investigations don't seem to be the normal desire for the roleplayers...

In any case, it involves a corporation (not Crey) kidnapping regenerators from across the world and both sides of the fence ("Villains" and "Heroes"). The players were supposed to look for clues that would eventually lead them to the New Horizon Syndicate headquarters in London where they would battle some members of the Committee (and possibly members the Triumvirate, three siblings who are the true leadership of the company).

Well, I may have thrown a spoiler or two into that, but, oh well... I may reference this adventure in future Brutal Warriors adventures...

The Redeemers

I may come back to this one soon... As I left the Scoop, desire was expressed to see more of it, so I figure it might be worthy of revisiting.

The Air Guard

Try as I might, I can't bring myself to start writing this one again. It reminds me too much of all the stories I read about Medal of Honor recipients (both the ones who lived and the ones who died). Now, that's not really the caliber of storytelling that went into this story, but whatever I was doing with the Air Guard, I really can't squeeze a "chronicle" out of it. Since the Guard was intended to be an "enemy group," which I thought I could make when AE came out, it's a little difficult to get into the personal lives of each of these characters.

I may make new Air Guard adventures in the future.

War! Praetorians Attack!

I was still new to the forums when I made this side adventure for Grey's Army. I also wanted to include other players and try my hand at starting a roleplaying-esque thread. So, I made this "post your stories" thread, while interweaving my Grey's Army and Brutal Warriors Order stories through it. I'd hoped other players would do the same, but other, more interesting, roleplaying threads cropped up and took precedence. Besides, I think one of them was another Praetorians thread.

The Brutal Warriors Order

Another side story to Grey's Army. The Brutal Warriors Order is based on friends and family of mine. Very loosely.

I may return to this one shortly. I abandoned it for a time, but when I play as the characters, I just picture all these crazy adventures they can get into...

I really should stop bleeding into them when (if) I get involved with Roleplaying Threads.

Grey's Army Role Call 2008
Kingdale and other Backgrounder Stuff

Background stuff for my characters.

Super Hero Holidays
The Snowball War
Holiday Spirit

Christmastime stories.

Ransack Rick

Ransack Rick isn't one of my prouder moments. I'm fascinated by power fantasy, but also disgusted with it. It's hard for me to believe that people can get so far-gone and drunk with power as to completely lose touch with their humanity. However, I guess that's the idea behind a villain in the first place...

I also really hate directly involving my characters with the Signature Characters (Statesman, Sister Psyche, Lord Recluse, etc.). I always feel like I'm walking a really fine line when writing them, at one side a sheer cliff face, on the other the void below. Frankly, I hate when people write stories that are essentially "Oh yeah, my character made Superman his [dog]!" and I would just loathe myself if I wrote something like that...

This is why Statesman beats this guy into submission with a schoolyard flagpole. Players are always talking about how they kicked the crap out Statesman, Recluse, etc... They keep neglecting the number of times they were beaten up by just the Elite Boss versions.

*rubs temples*

Grey's Army

My main story. It chronicles the lives of my main characters, the Grey family (not Lady Grey's family), the Durj ("dirge") family, and friends who work closely with them (which sometimes includes BWO characters, hence the reason why BWO updates so rarely).

I'm in a bit of a rut for Randy's second son, Roland... He's in the middle of a story that has him uncomfortably close to a Signature Character, and it's starting to fall out of control. It's also consuming a lot of my creative energy, so something needs to be done.

Obsidian Blight

My first story and the beginning of Kip's bizarre trek through having super powers. A summarized version of this stood as his in-game biography for a long time, and some players suggested I flesh it out here on the forums (I have no idea as to whom).

I've been writing a whole lot of stuff over on my DeviantArt page lately. This cut into my writing Grey's Army, but I think I've finally hit a balance that will allow me to get my story up to speed.

I've gotten involved with a group called Angel Falls. Since I wasn't getting much feedback on any of my work here (though what I did get is extremely appreciated, and I thank each of you who sent me a message with commentary or critique, both were helpful and uplifting), I decided I would try my hand at a more dynamic environment, one that was (in my opinion) part roleplay, part collaborative effort. It also has elements that I'm not entirely comfortable with writing, but it's the sort of thing that happens (you can disagree with an act or the philosophy behind it as much as you want, but that doesn't stop it from happening), so I need to learn to get past it.

I threw some of my BWO characters that I felt I was neglecting and some of my Grey's Army characters into the setting. Other background characters may find themselves over there, and if my characters come to a point where the [poop] has hit the fan, Kipland will be going over there...

To break Ultrawoman's ribs. It's not me saying it... It's KIP!
