If you have played the aformetioned story arc and have given up due to difficulty, I would like you to know that I have changed a few things to make the Arc more playable:
1. I have changed the Defenderbots in the second mission from Electric blast to energy blast and from Forcefields to Kinetics.
2. The Elite Boss Ishka Ember has been removed from the second mission, she remains an ally in the third mission.
3. Added following mobs to 2nd mission; Knight-bots (bs/shld scpr minions), Ice Elemental (Ice/Ice blstr minions), Fire Elementals (Fireblst/Fireshield hbrd leuts).
4. The Elite Boss Alex Mason has been removed from the third mission. Although Alex will make an apppearance in EoG part 2.
While I feel that these changes will affect the playablity of this difficult arc I also feel that the challlenge is still there.
Some tips on how to take down some bosses!
1. Aranrya is an ice/ice tank with a ton of Defense even on standard difficulty he is hard to hit, yet the only strat i can think of to use on him is tank and spank he has no crazy ablities to avoid, or attacks that a tank can't take.
2.Sachiel is in the second mission like Aranrya and is a fire/ice blaster. Sachiel's fire is set to extreme and he will use Inferno. The way to counter this is to have one tank on him until he pops Inferno and a healer and the rest of the team around a corner (with the healer peeking out to heal the tank). Once Inferno pops all dps can enter and win XD. Inferno will wipe the team if all are in the room!
3.Death-wake is one of the two AVs in the second mission. As my wp/ tank i get two shotted by him, this fight will take two tanks trading aggro and a healer on each tank while the dps stands way back (he has a massive pbaoe) Death-wake will placate and attack a random member of the party, all sqishies are to run away or use hover and stay up in the air and the tanks run in a circle to possibly grab him from stealth.
3. Tudor is the last AV of this arc and is a Em/Wp brute. I haven't tested him with a full team, but from the fact that he uses Rise to the Challenge, you would only want the main tank on him and everybody out of RttC range so he won't regen all the awesome damage you do! This means scrappers will have to kite, sorry XD.
This story arc has current and upcoming companion pieces. The current one is called The Vengence of Alex. The piece i have yet to publish is called My Reason for Being. Both provide a little back story for the villians and both are set before the main arc. I am currently at work and don't have the arc numbers written down, but i will post them when i get home tonight.
