How do you go about re-publishing?

I read that you can re-publish without losing ratings to update your mission to get rid of minor bugs. I only ask how to do it so I don't accidentally un-publish it and lose the reviews I've been given so far. I really don't want to mess this up.

Bumping this up 'cause I have the same question and didn't want to start a seperate thread...

Clicking on "republish" while editing the mission has worked for me.

I didn't see that option anywhere...I must be blind. Where's that button hiding?

When you "edit" a published mission, the usual options (the icons in the upper left, to do save, save as, save and test, etc) have different meanings. I forget which icon it is, but one of those icons means "save and republish".

And for a while things were cold,
They were scared down in their holes
The forest that once was green
Was colored black by those killing machines

Thanks, i'll see if I can find it

You need to edit the published file, not the local file. And while there is an option to edit the published file and save locally, doing so means your edits cannot be published, so do that after republishing. The local files can not, to my understanding, override an already published arc, only replace it and reset ratings.

Yeah, don't feel bad. I had to ask the same question. Once I caught on the way the files organized, it made perfect sense to edit the published file and republish.

OK, I did that and it just created a new published file with the same name (I had less than three published arcs.) Has someone written a step by step guide to republishing?
