The homeless hero
I'm very annoyed it doesn't seem to be displaying my images. I worked hard on those.
You have to provide links to images...
[url =] without the space, place the link after the "=" You then type out the label of the link and cap it off with [/ url] (again, without the space).
My Stories
Look at that. A full-grown woman pulling off pigtails. Her crazy is off the charts.
Fixed. You should read the help text about ubbcode.

Have you considered brightening up the shots? Half of them are just dark blurs on my monitor at its normal gamma. The game engine has a tendency to create screenshots at a default brightness that isn't really bright at all.
I almost wished that you hadn't describe your hero so thoroughly in your introduction. I was halfway through the story before I got to the parts that I didn't already know.
Good effort. It would be interesting to see it done up as a comic book layout.
At the age of 11, Hooded Redwing found himself confronted with intrusive voices that no one else seemingly heard. After being diagnosed with a magical connection to the Netherworld, Hood was recruited by one of the many heroes of the city. Working his way from sidekick to full fledged hero, his entire world came crashing down one fateful day. As the Rikti invaded, Hood struggled against them to save lives. Returning home as soon as he could to extricate his wife from the situation, he found himself too late. Destroyed in a blast, the apartment he lived in had been leveled, with his wife inside. Struggling with grief and anger, he eagerly signed up as part of a Portal Corp team meant to travel to the Rikti Homeworld to strike a blow against the Rikti. Leading the thirteen man team, they stepped into the portal, and disappeared. Only Hood and two others returned, none of them speaking of what happened there. Lost and confused, Hood gave up the cape and cowl life for a simpler one: living on the streets as a homeless derelict, begging for spare change and shouting about the end of the world. As he wanders the streets of Paragon City, he appears to have gone slightly insane. Claiming the city 'speaks' to him, he travels around, hopelessly lost in his own world...
