Two decades ago the young Andy was out with his younger brother practicing martial arts and playing like they always did, pretending to be the super heroes they saw on Tv each and every day. The two brothers were inseparable, always by each others side through thick and thin. Then one day a tragic accident happened as the boys were sparring in an abandoned barn. A dark and mysterious man came out of the shadows and attacked the two brothers. Dark energy was blasting forth from his hands as he cloaked in the shadows, during the struggle Andy had suffered a horrible head injury, falling unconscious. Waking to the sounds of his brother screaming he saw the dark cloaked man dragging his brother away, everything was in hues of red and Andy's eyes began to burn, his head aching in pain. Before he knew what happened an explosion ripped out through his eyes and leveled the barn with him in it. Crying to himself over and over he held his eyes shut tightly, squeezing them and trying to make the pain go away. It was almost a day later when his parents finally found him, his body scratched up with a few broken bones as he laid there alone, refusing to open his eyes. After that fateful day the world for Andy changed forever, and since that day he has not found his long lost brother, or the mysterious stranger who appeared.
Lost and confused at what to do his parents sent Andy away with a Professor who had come to them. He claimed to be able to help Andy's condition, to allow him to gain control of his power. There is where Andy spent most of his teenage years, practicing to control his power while taking classes with other Mutants. He would spend the summers in far off Japan, studying the war of the warrior. It was then that he got his moral compass, taking to heart the code of Bushido in an age that had long forgotten its tradition. As he got older Andy was given a way to control his power and keep the blasts in check, with the school he learned to focus his mind and body. It was his last mission there at the institute that made Andy aware of the wider world. He and Bobby had been sent to bring back a young mutant named Remy Rayner. That was when he realized he would never be able to save the world if he stayed hidden in that school. The world would forever fear mutants, but that would not keep him from trying to save the lives of those who could not save themselves. Packing his bags Andy set out to make the world a better place, leaving behind everything and everyone he knew, trusted, and called friend.
It was at this point in life that Andy first met Mike Lockhart, also known as Last Arrow, a man who helped show him the ropes of the hero business. What it was actually like to be out in the field and making a difference in the world. The two men were like kindred spirits both fighting for the same cause. So it was no surprise that when Mike asked Andy to join the League of Extraordinary Viners he accepted without hesitation. Under his leadership Andy learned to hone his skills even more. Found that he was not the only hero who sought to make a difference. He easily found new friends in their ranks such as Paragon and Nobody, Cryo-wolf and Chameleone. But the sudden disappearance of Lockhart left the LeV broken, a team without a leader. A woman by the name Kiara tried to hold the team together in his absence, but nothing would be the same again. Soon the group all started to split their own ways.
During this time was when Andy received message from another Legendary hero Renegade Lantern. He was putting together an elite unit of heroes to combat the villains of the world and he wanted Andy's help. Thrilled at the chance to strike fear into the hearts villains Andy gladly accepted and meet up with him at their new base. The Zero Squad Tower. Here Andy met the rest of the core members that would bring the fight to the bad guys most notably Spartan, Rayne, and a few others. During his time as a ZS member Andy began his own training as he was put in charge of recruiting. It was during these years that he first met his brother in arms LstPaladin, Hawk, and Nighthunter. The fights came sooner than expected as the sinister being known as Final Arrow had kidnapped their leader and held him in the VV castle. Quickly rallying the team together Andy brought the troops to fight their adversary's on their own turf, breaching the castle doors to rescue their captured leader.Together this team brought down the Vine Villains, a task that none ever believed possible. But it had come at a heavy price, weaving his dark spells the monster known as Final Arrow had slain all the known living relatives of the heroes, cheapening their victory over the ancient order.
In an effort to try and deal with the loss of his parents and loved ones Andy secluded himself from the rest of his team. The Zero Squad steadily grew in numbers adding such to their ranks as Morte and Ronin, but none of it mattered to Andy. He felt empty, as if he had let down the people he should of protected the most. It was here that he did not know of the mental intrusions on his emotions. A powerful spellcaster weaving her magic in his mind, tempting him with that feeling of doubt and failure. Once her spells held on to him tightly she set the plan into motion that would break Andy's spirit. Having to go on an important mission Andy requested that his close friend Nighthunter come with him. The two flew off towards the mountains of South America, upon landing the two battled for life and death as Andy turned on team, friend, and himself. With the push of a button their jet exploded along with the far off Zero Tower, his other team mate and friend Hawk caught in the after math and blown out a window. With the help of Charmcaster Andy defeated his brother in arms, then running off as he could never turn back and face his friends. From there on out he was an Outlaw. During this time was when he was first captured by Sector 13, a secret government group that experimented on him and turned him into the embodiment of a physically perfect human. Somehow Andy's body and dna bonded with the super soldier serum, his mutant genes being a key that kept his mind sane. This was when the crafty Cajun Gambler and his notorious group came to infiltrate the facility. While gathering the Intel they needed they had freed Andy and a sorceress named Gloom, putting Andy in their dept. Fulfilling his end Andy joined up with the bandit group as he knew it was his only choice. Here he began his new life on the road.
During his life on the road Andy began to share his feelings with another outlaw, the other who had been rescued from that facility like he had. The sorceress known as Gloom. Soon their friendship blossomed into more as they traveled the roads together. But the past always comes back to haunt you, the Outlawz had no place to run as they were pinned down in Louisiana by his former team mates, the Zero Squad. Their backs up against the walls they had to form a plan in order to escape. Fortunately for them their technopath Jinx had already found a way to turn the media against the heroes. All they had to do was get out of the swamp lands alive, it was this night that Andy paid for the sins of the past as he once again faced down Nighthunter. In an epic struggle on the rooftops they fought one another for what was the third time. Nighthunter leaving Andy to die among a ruined building that he had dropped down around him. Nursing him back to health Gloom tended to his wounds as they found out Jinx had lost his body in giving the Outlawz their escape. Determined to do return the favor Andy and Gloom set out to San Antonio, Texas, where Andy digitally captured Jinx and released him into the Stark database. There he took control of an Iron Man suit, his fellow outlaw hole once more. But their efforts did not go unnoticed as it drew the attention to the then bodyguard of Tony, Hawk another former Zero Squad member. Promising to give him back the wings he lost in Louisiana the Outlawz soon gained another member. Life on the road was good until Andy was captured by Sentinels, taking him to a secret facility where he was once again experimented on by this mysterious sector 13.
Before the scientists could discover what it was that allowed Andy's body to bond with the serum his friends had come to save him once more. The combined efforts of Jinx, Hawk, and Gloom leveled their facility and stopped their experiments and recreation of the Sentinels. Time passed and Andy started to drift away from his fellow outlaws. His time locked away once more had opened his eyes to what exactly he had been doing the last few years. With a heavy heart he cut the ties with the Outlaws, walking the roads alone once more, searching for redemption. He never expected to find what he did next, a small time waitress in a coffee shop capturing his heart. But his was not the only one set on the young woman. On one dark rainy night Mr Sinister had broken in and kidnapped her, heroes from across the world came to try and save her. But nothing would ever be the same once the rescued her, the evil madman's plan already set in place. Unknown to everyone but him. It was then that Andy's bond with Lexi grew, before he knew it the two were getting married and he seemed to be completely wrapped up in the events. It was at this time that Andy decided he would try his hand at forming a team of heroes, leading them to make the world a better place. Calling to his old and new friends he soon created the Ice Dragons. With this team Andy had finally made a difference, though he had lost his blood family he had gained another.
Good however never lasts, around the same time the Ice Dragons were founded the sly Cajun had disbanded the Outlawz, returning to his roots and once again igniting the flame of the Hellfire Club. Military tanks and personnel were invading the home town of Andy while he was training one day. Gambler had achieved government power through his ties with the HFC and he wanted what was not his. Demanding that the civilians turn over their home town hero Gambler threatened to topple the entire place. Answering his call Andy had shown up and the two waged a war that would soon send ripples through the entire United States. Wounded and hurt Andy had forced the crafty Cajun to pull out of his town, but he did not do so without issuing yet another threat. Getting into his chopper Gambler made his way back home, but the fight was just the tip of the war to come. Now back in New York Gambler had unleashed the hounds on Andy, putting a bounty on his head and sending his younger brother Clutch after him. Luring Andy away from the shop Clutch did his job and kept Andy's focus away, all while Gambler came into the shop and stabbed Mrs Summers. The personal battle between two men had not spilled into a war that forever changed the world, for all Superhumans and Mutants.
Putting a call out to every hero Andy knew he gathered his forces like none had ever seen. Members from Ice, WAL, Mobb Deep all came to his aid. He would bring down the gates of the Hellfire Club if it was the last thing on earth he did. Gambler however was not without his wiles, he knew that he was outgunned and set into motions that would not only make himself Secretary of Defense, but then Vice President, and even President of the United States in one fell swoop. Though the heroes were able to extinguish the fires of the HFC they could not strip Gambler of his new power. And event that he used to then implement the Superhuman Registration Act. Just before the act was finalized Andy's once former team leader Renegade Lantern had attacked the Ice Mansion, with the combined efforts of WAL they managed to drive him back off while another team of Ice entered the mind of Darkchild. There Andy slipped into a coma and contracted a parasite known as Exodus. It was then that Ice got summoned to another dimension and Andy was kidnapped by Mr Sinister, once again being turned into a puppet for a mad scientist. Upon returning home the Dragons Lexi had been given the Dragon Force by their protector and guardian Iceingdeath, giving up his own existence so that she could save her husband. Giving her the power to save Andy from Sinister who had now gotten control of the Exodus Parasite. The plan by Sinister was masterfully laid out, the subtle hints never caught on until it was all too late.
With the Superhuman Registration act going into effect they were forced to disband the Ice Dragons. Fearing for their safety Andy took his family and moved to Greece in an effort to keep them from assassination attempts by Gambler and his men. There he stayed until his old friend and friendly rival showed up on his door step unannounced. Nighthunter had come to pay his old friend a visit, and to reclaim his sword that he had once lost to him. The fight ended with Nighthunter besting Andy and reclaiming his sword, but it was his friends words that struck home. He told him that the world still needed heroes. Gathering his things Andy went to return back to America, to only find that his wife and daughter were missing, going through every resource he ever had, every contact he searched the globe and never found a trace of them. Something was wrong and it was not until he caught wind of Darkchild's challenge that he found out what. In a titanic battle the two not only destroyed his castle in Greenland but had also laid waste to the entire mountain side. Confused Andy tried to figure out what it was that Darkchild was hinting at through their fight. He had been the one to find Lexi and had brutally tortured and killed her. While doing so catching on to some sort of betrayal.
Not being able to get much time to ponder his new situation Andy received a distress call from a fellow Ice Dragon. He had been captured by Mr Sinister and was being tortured to death. Flying to the Savage Land Andy crashed a Black Bird into the side of Sinister's hidden fortress and broke in to rescue his old friend. The rubble had buried Sinister alive and knowing his power Andy was content with leaving him there while he got his severely wounded friend out of there. No rest of the weary the two were immediately called in to help support Veritas and a government facility. On arriving Apocalypse and his minions had already attacked the place and were fighting the gathered forces. Going to their aid Andy found the field leader instantly, the leader of Veritas and a hero known as Kurrent. The two fought back to back, side by side as his the newly reformed Ice Dragons supported them from above. There was more going on at this Sector 13 then people were letting on. None of them knew then how deeply they had gotten themselves in on things.
Only weeks after this event Andy had been called in for a meeting with the President of the United States. The two meet at the White House and began a plan that would not only allow for the heroes to attend to these type of threats more quickly, but would also put an end to the escalating Superhuman Registration Act. After the President made his opening speech, he stood to the side and announced the new speaker. "Ladies and gentlemen of the United State of American, I give to you one of our own, Andy Stephen Summers" the gathered press all stood and clapped their hands together, all well aware of the stories behind this man, the lives he had saved, the things he had done for this country. "My fellow Americans, I come before you today with a purpose, a proposal and agreement with the Government of the United States. As you are all aware of this country and the world has suffered greatly over the last years. We have had plagues of villains ravage our family's and suffered through a Civil War amongst the super powered. You are all also aware that I am one of those Super powered beings, and more. That I am also a Mutant, but I am also an American. What we have proposed today takes in effect immediately. The terms for the Registration Act were unfair, but now we have a way to govern that. A way to keep the heroes who put their lives on the line each and every day safe. Starting today we police our own. The President has given me full rights to overseeing this project and I, and I alone will be the only one to hold the identities to the heroes and reformed villains. This is the only way my friends, to ensure that we do not suffer through another Civil War that none of us want. To help me in this effort I have reinstalled the Ice Dragons, a group of Super humans who will watch over and protect not only America, but the entire world, from threats domestic and intergalactic. I only ask that you trust in me with this task, for I will not let you down. None of you". Shortly after this the Ice Dragons were assembled once more.
There are some secrets that should stay hidden. One of these secrets was something Andy had tried to shield his friends from for so long. But a fateful meeting between LstPaladin and Mr Sinister changed all of that. In one epic battle that ended the mad scientists thread, Andy deep dark secrets were revealed as Sinister spoke of his plot. Andy's entire marriage was a fluke, was not real as it was Sinister himself who performed the ceremony. Morphed into the disguise of a Priest to fool all the gathered guests, cloaking his mind from others with his powers. To make things worse the lies and deceit went back even further as Sinister revealed how he and Lexi were in cahoots with one another from the start. It was she who gave him access to their dna data not only as Zero Squad members but as Ice Dragons as well. All along she had been the puppet to his string. Playing the heroes for fools with that innocent visage. Even Andy's beloved daughter was a fake, a genetically engineered clone crafted from his own genes stolen by his lover. Her boyfriend a fraud as well, just Sinister cloaked once again in another form. It was on that night that Paladin learned the burdens that Andy had to bear, and had kept hidden from the rest of the world. The past four years of his life and all been a lie, carefully planned and manipulated by a mad man. But those are burdens he carries no more, free from the guilt and ready to stand tall and lead his friends once more.

POWERS, WEAPONS, EQUIPMENT
Super soldier serum: This serum has increased Andy's body to the human limits. He is as agile, durable, fast, intelligent, and strong as any human could ever possible be. Because of this serum Andy could break every Olympic record ever set for any contest. He is capable of running a mile in roughly a minutes time, can reach speeds around 35 miles per hour. Has been able to bench press 1,000 pounds and curls 500 pounds. His mind was increased along with his body which is what allows him to read and configure all the angles in his mind as if it was nothing. This also means that he effectively never tires and can do such extraordinary feats not seen by normal humans. It has also been proven that he cannot become intoxicated and is immune to many diseases. He also has a high resistance to many poisons and gases, lessen their effects and durations. So complete is the serum that it even increased his five sense, giving him incredible reflexes and allows him to dodge gun fire as the bullets seem to be moving in slow motion to him. Because of his increased blood count from the serum Andy is capable of healing at a faster rate and capable of overcoming the most gruesome of injuries with short bed rests. The serum has also slowed his aging to an unknown rate.
Master combatant: Not only is Andy a master tactician and strategist but he has also mastered several forms of martial arts over the years. His keen eye for strategy is what lets him throw and shoot his optic blats with keen accuracy and bounce them around at thousands of angles. The slightest movement by his opponents all give Andy a hint at what is to come next. Throughout the years he has become a Shodan in Aikido, American kick boxing, Jin jitsu, Judo, and Karate. In his learning's with these styles he has mastered various pressure points and well as breaking points in the human body. Allowing him to know where to strike for maximum effect. With this discipline of the body has also come a mastering of the mind. Because of his strong dedication and sheer willpower he is highly resistant to casual mental scans and attacks that try to control his mind and influence his thoughts.
Optic Blasts: His mutant gene gives Andy the ability to absorb ambient solar energies, or radiation which his body then converts into the powerful optic blasts. Unchecked these blasts will easily level buildings and can reach the power of a nuclear reactor. It has been said that with enough power Andy could crack a small planet. These crimson red blasts are not lasers, they do not create any heat at all. Instead of cutting of burning his blasts are pure kinetic energy. A massive concussive force, or blunt force trauma. He can push or smash objects with pure force and has been seen to use these blasts and various creative ways. With his extensive training of the optic blasts he has been able to perfect his aim to shooting multiple targets with one blast by ricocheting it from target to target or even off other surfaces. Andy has been seen to shoot blasts as wide as the eye can see to more focused blasts that can strike the head of a needle.
High Tech Visor: This highly customized and advanced visor is the pinnacle of technology. The outside casing is made out of Vibranium to increase its durability and resistance from breaking. The lens is specially crafted out of a ruby quartz which keeps Andy's optic blasts in check, it also has a built in dampener which allows him to decrease light activity and glares. The latest state of the art targeting system has been grafted into this device to allow Andy uncanny precision with his blasts. The visor has also been engineered to give Andy various other forms of sight, ranging from heat vision, dark vision, night vision, x-ray vision, microscopic vision, and telescopic vision. In addition to the visions and targeting system there is a com link and built in camera. Adding to the already impressive display of technology packed into this little device Andy also has a sound emitter. This system allows for him to increase or decrease sound waves, practically giving him superhuman hearing when needed. It has also been equipped with a audio recorder letting him record sounds and conversations. There is also a visual recorder, which allows him to take pictures and footage of what he sees. The nanobots in the visor also increase his ability to resist mental intrusions and control, which helps hide the secrets stored away in his mind and the Ice database. The last bit of technology that is in this device is a highly secure up link to satellites, which allows him to access the extensive ICE archive and government database, as well as send the information that he records with the visor.
Adamantium/Vibranium Shield: This circular shield is shaped like a round discus and painted with two red stripes with one white stripe and a blue center. Centered on the shield is a single white star giving it the American dream touch. The shield was created by a serendipity of melding Adamantium and Vibranium together. This means that the shield is literally indestructible short of reality manipulation. Through years of rigorous training with the shield Andy has practically made is an extension of his own body. He is able to throw it at incredible speeds and accuracy with perfect precision. His skill with the shield is so extensive that he can attack multiple targets with a single throw by using it to ricochet off them or other surfaces. By applying certain strength and angles to the shield he has capable of throwing it like a boomerang, which allows it to return to his hand. This shield has saved his life countless times and has been proven to be not only a effective defensive weapon, but a remarkable offensive one as well. It's durability has been tested to hold up against nuclear blasts as well as LstPaladin's Godblast effect.
Vibranium Suit: The star spangled bodysuit is colored to resemble the American colors and is made from a micro webbing of Vibranium. Not only does it stop bullets, but it saps them of their momentum. Just like Kevlar the suit can be cut if it is cut along the grain of the webbing. However it cannon be punctured by conventional means or blunt force. This suit helps provide an excellent protection against physical attacks, weakening their effect to an extent. It also provides a good amount of protection against cold and hot temperatures, providing him with a low quality fire resistance and ability to fight off frost bite. The soles of the boots absorb sound and impact which allow him to move silently at great speeds. He can even leap off of a building from up to eight stories and land without injury.
Proton Shield Glove: In the rare cases that Andy is without his shield he also has a back up. Worn on his left glove is a highly sophisticated proton shield generator. It is an upgraded version of the standard plasma shield which can absorb impact even better than his traditional shield and can be used to fire energy blasts of incredible force with the touch of his fingers. While the proton force shield will not return or ricochet off things he can create another one by manipulating the palm controls in a split second. The device uses red plasma instead of the standard yellow and has been upgraded so that it can mimic the design of his classic shield.

Somehow Andy's body and dna bonded with the super soldier serum, his mutant genes being a key that kept his mind sane. This was when the crafty Cajun Gambler and his notorious group came to infiltrate the facility. While gathering the Intel they needed they had freed Andy and a sorceress named Gloom, putting Andy in their dept. Fulfilling his end Andy joined up with the bandit group as he knew it was his only choice. Here he began his new life on the road.
During his life on the road Andy began to share his feelings with another outlaw, the other who had been rescued from that facility like he had. The sorceress known as Gloom. Soon their friendship blossomed into more as they traveled the roads together. But the past always comes back to haunt you, the Outlawz had no place to run as they were pinned down in Louisiana by his former team mates, the Zero Squad. Their backs up against the walls they had to form a plan in order to escape. Fortunately for them their technopath Jinx had already found a way to turn the media against the heroes. All they had to do was get out of the swamp lands alive, it was this night that Andy paid for the sins of the past as he once again faced down Nighthunter. In an epic struggle on the rooftops they fought one another for what was the third time. Nighthunter leaving Andy to die among a ruined building that he had dropped down around him. Nursing him back to health Gloom tended to his wounds as they found out Jinx had lost his body in giving the Outlawz their escape. Determined to do return the favor Andy and Gloom set out to San Antonio, Texas, where Andy digitally captured Jinx and released him into the Stark database. There he took control of an Iron Man suit, his fellow outlaw hole once more. But their efforts did not go unnoticed as it drew the attention to the then bodyguard of Tony, Hawk another former Zero Squad member. Promising to give him back the wings he lost in Louisiana the Outlawz soon gained another member. Life on the road was good until Andy was captured by Sentinels, taking him to a secret facility where he was once again experimented on by this mysterious sector 13.
Before the scientists could discover what it was that allowed Andy's body to bond with the serum his friends had come to save him once more. The combined efforts of Jinx, Hawk, and Gloom leveled their facility and stopped their experiments and recreation of the Sentinels. Time passed and Andy started to drift away from his fellow outlaws. His time locked away once more had opened his eyes to what exactly he had been doing the last few years. With a heavy heart he cut the ties with the Outlaws, walking the roads alone once more, searching for redemption. He never expected to find what he did next, a small time waitress in a coffee shop capturing his heart. But his was not the only one set on the young woman. On one dark rainy night Mr Sinister had broken in and kidnapped her, heroes from across the world came to try and save her. But nothing would ever be the same once the rescued her, the evil madman's plan already set in place. Unknown to everyone but him. It was then that Andy's bond with Lexi grew, before he knew it the two were getting married and he seemed to be completely wrapped up in the events. It was at this time that Andy decided he would try his hand at forming a team of heroes, leading them to make the world a better place. Calling to his old and new friends he soon created the Ice Dragons. With this team Andy had finally made a difference, though he had lost his blood family he had gained another.
Good however never lasts, around the same time the Ice Dragons were founded the sly Cajun had disbanded the Outlawz, returning to his roots and once again igniting the flame of the Hellfire Club. Military tanks and personnel were invading the home town of Andy while he was training one day. Gambler had achieved government power through his ties with the HFC and he wanted what was not his. Demanding that the civilians turn over their home town hero Gambler threatened to topple the entire place. Answering his call Andy had shown up and the two waged a war that would soon send ripples through the entire United States. Wounded and hurt Andy had forced the crafty Cajun to pull out of his town, but he did not do so without issuing yet another threat. Getting into his chopper Gambler made his way back home, but the fight was just the tip of the war to come. Now back in New York Gambler had unleashed the hounds on Andy, putting a bounty on his head and sending his younger brother Clutch after him. Luring Andy away from the shop Clutch did his job and kept Andy's focus away, all while Gambler came into the shop and stabbed Mrs Summers. The personal battle between two men had not spilled into a war that forever changed the world, for all Superhumans and Mutants.
Putting a call out to every hero Andy knew he gathered his forces like none had ever seen. Members from Ice, WAL, Mobb Deep all came to his aid. He would bring down the gates of the Hellfire Club if it was the last thing on earth he did. Gambler however was not without his wiles, he knew that he was outgunned and set into motions that would not only make himself Secretary of Defense, but then Vice President, and even President of the United States in one fell swoop. Though the heroes were able to extinguish the fires of the HFC they could not strip Gambler of his new power. And event that he used to then implement the Superhuman Registration Act. Just before the act was finalized Andy's once former team leader Renegade Lantern had attacked the Ice Mansion, with the combined efforts of WAL they managed to drive him back off while another team of Ice entered the mind of Darkchild. There Andy slipped into a coma and contracted a parasite known as Exodus. It was then that Ice got summoned to another dimension and Andy was kidnapped by Mr Sinister, once again being turned into a puppet for a mad scientist. Upon returning home the Dragons Lexi had been given the Dragon Force by their protector and guardian Iceingdeath, giving up his own existence so that she could save her husband. Giving her the power to save Andy from Sinister who had now gotten control of the Exodus Parasite. The plan by Sinister was masterfully laid out, the subtle hints never caught on until it was all too late.
With the Superhuman Registration act going into effect they were forced to disband the Ice Dragons. Fearing for their safety Andy took his family and moved to Greece in an effort to keep them from assassination attempts by Gambler and his men. There he stayed until his old friend and friendly rival showed up on his door step unannounced. Nighthunter had come to pay his old friend a visit, and to reclaim his sword that he had once lost to him. The fight ended with Nighthunter besting Andy and reclaiming his sword, but it was his friends words that struck home. He told him that the world still needed heroes. Gathering his things Andy went to return back to America, to only find that his wife and daughter were missing, going through every resource he ever had, every contact he searched the globe and never found a trace of them. Something was wrong and it was not until he caught wind of Darkchild's challenge that he found out what. In a titanic battle the two not only destroyed his castle in Greenland but had also laid waste to the entire mountain side. Confused Andy tried to figure out what it was that Darkchild was hinting at through their fight. He had been the one to find Lexi and had brutally tortured and killed her. While doing so catching on to some sort of betrayal.
Not being able to get much time to ponder his new situation Andy received a distress call from a fellow Ice Dragon. He had been captured by Mr Sinister and was being tortured to death. Flying to the Savage Land Andy crashed a Black Bird into the side of Sinister's hidden fortress and broke in to rescue his old friend. The rubble had buried Sinister alive and knowing his power Andy was content with leaving him there while he got his severely wounded friend out of there. No rest of the weary the two were immediately called in to help support Veritas and a government facility. On arriving Apocalypse and his minions had already attacked the place and were fighting the gathered forces. Going to their aid Andy found the field leader instantly, the leader of Veritas and a hero known as Kurrent. The two fought back to back, side by side as his the newly reformed Ice Dragons supported them from above. There was more going on at this Sector 13 then people were letting on. None of them knew then how deeply they had gotten themselves in on things.
Only weeks after this event Andy had been called in for a meeting with the President of the United States. The two meet at the White House and began a plan that would not only allow for the heroes to attend to these type of threats more quickly, but would also put an end to the escalating Superhuman Registration Act. After the President made his opening speech, he stood to the side and announced the new speaker. "Ladies and gentlemen of the United State of American, I give to you one of our own, Andy Stephen Summers" the gathered press all stood and clapped their hands together, all well aware of the stories behind this man, the lives he had saved, the things he had done for this country. "My fellow Americans, I come before you today with a purpose, a proposal and agreement with the Government of the United States. As you are all aware of this country and the world has suffered greatly over the last years. We have had plagues of villains ravage our family's and suffered through a Civil War amongst the super powered. You are all also aware that I am one of those Super powered beings, and more. That I am also a Mutant, but I am also an American. What we have proposed today takes in effect immediately. The terms for the Registration Act were unfair, but now we have a way to govern that. A way to keep the heroes who put their lives on the line each and every day safe. Starting today we police our own. The President has given me full rights to overseeing this project and I, and I alone will be the only one to hold the identities to the heroes and reformed villains. This is the only way my friends, to ensure that we do not suffer through another Civil War that none of us want. To help me in this effort I have reinstalled the Ice Dragons, a group of Super humans who will watch over and protect not only America, but the entire world, from threats domestic and intergalactic. I only ask that you trust in me with this task, for I will not let you down. None of you". Shortly after this the Ice Dragons were assembled once more.
There are some secrets that should stay hidden. One of these secrets was something Andy had tried to shield his friends from for so long. But a fateful meeting between LstPaladin and Mr Sinister changed all of that. In one epic battle that ended the mad scientists thread, Andy deep dark secrets were revealed as Sinister spoke of his plot. Andy's entire marriage was a fluke, was not real as it was Sinister himself who performed the ceremony. Morphed into the disguise of a Priest to fool all the gathered guests, cloaking his mind from others with his powers. To make things worse the lies and deceit went back even further as Sinister revealed how he and Lexi were in cahoots with one another from the start. It was she who gave him access to their dna data not only as Zero Squad members but as Ice Dragons as well. All along she had been the puppet to his string. Playing the heroes for fools with that innocent visage. Even Andy's beloved daughter was a fake, a genetically engineered clone crafted from his own genes stolen by his lover. Her boyfriend a fraud as well, just Sinister cloaked once again in another form. It was on that night that Paladin learned the burdens that Andy had to bear, and had kept hidden from the rest of the world. The past four years of his life and all been a lie, carefully planned and manipulated by a mad man. But those are burdens he carries no more, free from the guilt and ready to stand tall and lead his friends once more.

POWERS, WEAPONS, EQUIPMENT
Super soldier serum: This serum has increased Andy's body to the human limits. He is as agile, durable, fast, intelligent, and strong as any human could ever possible be. Because of this serum Andy could break every Olympic record ever set for any contest. He is capable of running a mile in roughly a minutes time, can reach speeds around 35 miles per hour. Has been able to bench press 1,000 pounds and curls 500 pounds. His mind was increased along with his body which is what allows him to read and configure all the angles in his mind as if it was nothing. This also means that he effectively never tires and can do such extraordinary feats not seen by normal humans. It has also been proven that he cannot become intoxicated and is immune to many diseases. He also has a high resistance to many poisons and gases, lessen their effects and durations. So complete is the serum that it even increased his five sense, giving him incredible reflexes and allows him to dodge gun fire as the bullets seem to be moving in slow motion to him. Because of his increased blood count from the serum Andy is capable of healing at a faster rate and capable of overcoming the most gruesome of injuries with short bed rests. The serum has also slowed his aging to an unknown rate.
Master combatant: Not only is Andy a master tactician and strategist but he has also mastered several forms of martial arts over the years. His keen eye for strategy is what lets him throw and shoot his optic blats with keen accuracy and bounce them around at thousands of angles. The slightest movement by his opponents all give Andy a hint at what is to come next. Throughout the years he has become a Shodan in Aikido, American kick boxing, Jin jitsu, Judo, and Karate. In his learning's with these styles he has mastered various pressure points and well as breaking points in the human body. Allowing him to know where to strike for maximum effect. With this discipline of the body has also come a mastering of the mind. Because of his strong dedication and sheer willpower he is highly resistant to casual mental scans and attacks that try to control his mind and influence his thoughts.
Optic Blasts: His mutant gene gives Andy the ability to absorb ambient solar energies, or radiation which his body then converts into the powerful optic blasts. Unchecked these blasts will easily level buildings and can reach the power of a nuclear reactor. It has been said that with enough power Andy could crack a small planet. These crimson red blasts are not lasers, they do not create any heat at all. Instead of cutting of burning his blasts are pure kinetic energy. A massive concussive force, or blunt force trauma. He can push or smash objects with pure force and has been seen to use these blasts and various creative ways. With his extensive training of the optic blasts he has been able to perfect his aim to shooting multiple targets with one blast by ricocheting it from target to target or even off other surfaces. Andy has been seen to shoot blasts as wide as the eye can see to more focused blasts that can strike the head of a needle.
High Tech Visor: This highly customized and advanced visor is the pinnacle of technology. The outside casing is made out of Vibranium to increase its durability and resistance from breaking. The lens is specially crafted out of a ruby quartz which keeps Andy's optic blasts in check, it also has a built in dampener which allows him to decrease light activity and glares. The latest state of the art targeting system has been grafted into this device to allow Andy uncanny precision with his blasts. The visor has also been engineered to give Andy various other forms of sight, ranging from heat vision, dark vision, night vision, x-ray vision, microscopic vision, and telescopic vision. In addition to the visions and targeting system there is a com link and built in camera. Adding to the already impressive display of technology packed into this little device Andy also has a sound emitter. This system allows for him to increase or decrease sound waves, practically giving him superhuman hearing when needed. It has also been equipped with a audio recorder letting him record sounds and conversations. There is also a visual recorder, which allows him to take pictures and footage of what he sees. The nanobots in the visor also increase his ability to resist mental intrusions and control, which helps hide the secrets stored away in his mind and the Ice database. The last bit of technology that is in this device is a highly secure up link to satellites, which allows him to access the extensive ICE archive and government database, as well as send the information that he records with the visor.
Adamantium/Vibranium Shield: This circular shield is shaped like a round discus and painted with two red stripes with one white stripe and a blue center. Centered on the shield is a single white star giving it the American dream touch. The shield was created by a serendipity of melding Adamantium and Vibranium together. This means that the shield is literally indestructible short of reality manipulation. Through years of rigorous training with the shield Andy has practically made is an extension of his own body. He is able to throw it at incredible speeds and accuracy with perfect precision. His skill with the shield is so extensive that he can attack multiple targets with a single throw by using it to ricochet off them or other surfaces. By applying certain strength and angles to the shield he has capable of throwing it like a boomerang, which allows it to return to his hand. This shield has saved his life countless times and has been proven to be not only a effective defensive weapon, but a remarkable offensive one as well. It's durability has been tested to hold up against nuclear blasts as well as LstPaladin's Godblast effect.
Vibranium Suit: The star spangled bodysuit is colored to resemble the American colors and is made from a micro webbing of Vibranium. Not only does it stop bullets, but it saps them of their momentum. Just like Kevlar the suit can be cut if it is cut along the grain of the webbing. However it cannon be punctured by conventional means or blunt force. This suit helps provide an excellent protection against physical attacks, weakening their effect to an extent. It also provides a good amount of protection against cold and hot temperatures, providing him with a low quality fire resistance and ability to fight off frost bite. The soles of the boots absorb sound and impact which allow him to move silently at great speeds. He can even leap off of a building from up to eight stories and land without injury.
Proton Shield Glove: In the rare cases that Andy is without his shield he also has a back up. Worn on his left glove is a highly sophisticated proton shield generator. It is an upgraded version of the standard plasma shield which can absorb impact even better than his traditional shield and can be used to fire energy blasts of incredible force with the touch of his fingers. While the proton force shield will not return or ricochet off things he can create another one by manipulating the palm controls in a split second. The device uses red plasma instead of the standard yellow and has been upgraded so that it can mimic the design of his classic shield.
