Make a character look like yourself?

All my friend and I at one point when we first started COH all made characters that were ourselves.
My character looks exactly like me, cause I am an 8ft Amazon Spiderwoman wannabee... NOT!

well none of my characters were actually designed to look like me because I wanted to escape reality when i made em, not be reminded of it....
BUT Alex did a great piece for Sassy and i that had our likeness in it. LJ did the same in a recent piece taking elements from Sassy to include in the piece.

I don't really think there's any resemblance between me and my characters, maybe Wonder Hawk's first ever costume back when she was ice/ener not ice/ice
