How come there is no Loop Background Music option?

Warning: Minor rant.

It seems like such a basic and fundamental feature. Music plays anywhere between 20 seconds and 2 minutes, then just disappears until you reenter the zone. The background howling and whooshing and random city street noises just don't do it for me. The action feels way more intense with the game's music playing.

And I know some of you just listen to your own music, but that doesn't make it right. The player shouldn't have to find matching tunes and manually control them while playing just to get a complete gaming experience. Why isn't there a loop option?

P.S the FTP is missing some of my favorite tracks.
