Just got this new piece of my main Az'rial done by the peeps at Hero Portraits.

Az'rial in the Shadow Shard

They are the nicest people and FAST!!! I had asked them to take a few liberties with Az since there are no facial piercings and nipple rings (other than the one that comes on leather straps) in game. His tatts are from the wood block prints of Dante's Inferno and the whisps of smoke behind him are representing his Angelic wings that he lost when he was banished from Heaven. The golden mask is the Golden Mask of Death from the Serephim Mythos. Az is supposed to be the embodiment of the cast out Angel of Death.

I like that it's set in the shard, though it's hard on this computer to see the details with that size, i can totally see where that would fit. Gratz!

I love the pink tentacles around him ... I am assuming he is some sort of Dark/* Def maybe ... nice pose, nice setting, nice colors and yet not too much.

They are amazingly fast. Pretty much everyone else I've contacted for commissions has told me November is the soonest I can get something. With them it is about a week to finished project!

Got another one of my own in the works with them, and at one more after that. (my poor, poor paypal account)

Yup, Az is a Dk/Dk/Dk Defender. I think that they captured his look and attitude perfectly. It helps that Curt, the artist, is really into Angelic lore and admitted that he really got into the rendering. He said that all of the tatts were hand colored which I thought was way beyond what I contracted for. I think next I'll ask him to do an action shot of Az.....next paycheck
