I agree, really nice. I like how the lighting effects and such turned out a lot. The lighting really makes the scene.

Especially the highlights on the demon standing in the foreground.

Very beautiful piece, the characters look fantastic (as always ) but you did a spectacular job with the background, really sets the atmosphere.

The piece for said story is finally all done! Its in my Digital Colors gallery

I'm not direct linking because I guess its sort of one of "those" types of images..... but its REALLY fairly tame when it comes to that. I didn't even put it in my pin-up section. But better to be safe than sorry!

lol fun piece Wassy! Nicely done as well!

I love the playfulness of it.

Very nice. One day I'll have the money to get another piece from you Wassy. I hung Virs Impavida on my wall

I really liked how Virs came out, though you really do have to see her in person.

Anyone who asks for a pin-up style pose makes Wassy's heart go all aflutter.

You got one!

Its been just about FOREVER since I could last direct link to a piece!!!

Ms. Afterburner

I just finished this for The Masked Shrike ^.^

I REALLY like that artwork. Very Poignant.

"City of Heroes. April 27, 2004 - August 31, 2012. Obliterated not with a weapon of mass destruction, not by an all-powerful supervillain... but by a cold-hearted and cowardly corporate suck-up."

Really, I can't believe it took me so long to realize that would be the perfect moment for Wassy to depict for one of my girls. Beautiful and melancholy as I was hoping it would be, done with real sensitivity and attention to story and character. Thank you so much for creating this.

(And I'm so happy to have a Wassy Original at last!)

I'm very glad you're so happy with it. She really was just a joy to work on from start to finish.

And while I do have lots of fun doing the fluffy pieces with just hot chickies, I get the most enjoyment from pieces like this where I can tell a bit of a story. Its why I generally ask for backstories. They help me almost more than screenshots do.

She came out excellently. This is one of my favorites of your digital pieces. Tons of emotion in her face, set against the emptiness of space, with the highlights from the sun rising above earth...It's very epic looking and yet sad at the same time. Really really nice work.

Here's a detail from the group piece I'm currently working on.

Captain Emerald

I try to make improvements with every new piece I do, and for this one I'm trying to get better at the comic-style inking.

Comments appreciated!

Thanks, everyone ^.^

I'm glad I got the understated sexy across. I wanted her playful, but not hoochie.

This group piece is going to be 7 lovely ladies hailing from The Dolls, so I'll probably put a couple more details up as I finish them. Really working hard on the inking for this piece.

Very lovely. The word coy comes to mind.

I'm not big on the shameless self-promotion, but I just gotta do it this time!

Stephen over at www.sigmatestudio.com has a blog where he features different artists (and foods!), and has interviewed some really really amazing talents. So when he contacted me for an interview, I was wondering if he wasn't wearing his glasses at the time or something.

But anyway, there is a write-up on me and a bit of my work. You can learn my deepest, darkest secrets..... including my REAL NAME *dramatic music*

Poke around the rest of his site, too!

Oh, and just so I'm not only shamelessly self-promoting.... have some very VERY flowy arts!!
