Power Leveling for my Film

Hey Folks,

I absolutely know how terribly PL is frowned upon -- but at the moment I can't help wondering how it's done.

My current obstacle is time -- I'm sure it is for most of us.

Now, the landcape that I'd like to shoot is in COV. Also, my character must fly and wear a very specific cape! Hoever, my only COV toon is lvl 13 -- about to hit 14. Great I can get my travel power but to get my cape I have to grind it out to 20!

Shooting in COH and then DemoEditing in COV landcape won't help me 'cause I don't COV know that well. I'll be doing a lot of flying around and location scouting so I can't just punch in some COV coordinates and hope for the best.

So, at the moment. Yes, I WISH I knew how to Power Level.
I even considered hiring one of those PL services. I just discovered these last night. So crazy!

Anyone have any guides they can point me to or suggestions? I know you can buy COV accounts but they're all like $100 and up!

I'd prefer something legal.

Which server? If you're on Liberty, send a /tell to @Bloodspeaker2 and say that his wife asked him to help PL you a bit. John's got a lvl 50 MM and probably wouldn't be averse to helping a friend of mine.

My way of PLing? (Depending on the character) I do virtually non-stop radio mishes.

But here's a slightly better option for you:

1) Get your character to 14 somehow (which will at least give you Flight).
2) Lackey to a higher level character and explain you need to look around and film.
3) Open ANOTHER character of yours and give him/her the kind of cape you WANT.
4) Demorecord that character.
5) Modify whatever one you will be using (the demorecord of you in flight, etc etc etc) so that the toon now has the same cape. I forget the exact line in a character code, but you'll be able to tell.

Bingo, you're done.

i think i will do exactly as you say! and go for your "slightly better option!" it took me a sec to fugure out what it was you were talking about -- i'm a demon00b. but, now i totally got it and what a perfect solution!
