Yeah the new version isn't a favorite of mine either. I was just getting used to V5. Like i posted a poll but i'm not sure it shows up like it used to.

If you want it listed, all you do is click the little box on the right hand side, above your deviations. There's two fo them, one has 4 squares in it, one has lines. click the box with lines, and your deviations will go back to how they used to be.

we're aware of that you can change it back to the list form but it doesn't STAY that way. Try this: go to page that has the deviations, click on the list button so it switches to the list form, the go away from that page, then go back, it reverts back to thumbnails

Instead of using the backpage button, the first time, just hit deviations button once, after setting it to list and then clicking on one. From then on it's fine. So, to explain:
Set deviations to list.
Click one deviation in the list.
Use the deviation link next to your account name to get back to the list (Do not use backpage)
Notice all deviations are in list format.
Now use the backpage after clicking links to your heart's content. Closing the tab/window will not cause it to revert back to thumbnails.

Such a round about way to do it but hey that is really all that I was looking for. I can now go from absolutely hating v6 to just mildly unimpressed and annoyed with it.

whoa.. that does work... I coulda swore I tried that the day or and following v6's release but it kept reverting back to thumbnails... ah well, it works now, and i'm fine with that.

I agree. It is clunky. It's not very pretty, either. It's cumbersome and I've always felt that webpages, in general, need to follow the KISS it concept (Keep It Simple, Stupid). The more complex you make things the more it causes problems.
