Demonic Devout (and others) Origin

This actually is the origin for 4 supers, but it's all connected by one person, so here we go... First I have the "Master" story of what happens, in chronological order, all secrets revealed. then I have the "in-game" info, which is what all players would see in game. That one is in 4 parts for each person, and there is an order to them, but they will of course be being read individually out of context, so they need to make sense.

Master:

[u]Ancient Times:[u]

Before the height of the Oranbegan Civilization, a Demon known as Ravexis attempted to breach the mortal realm. He was a patron of fire, but also a master of darkness. He had created a sword of fire to aid him in destroying his enemies, and imbued it with much of his own essence. He contacted the Oranbegans and proposed an alliance in exchange for help entering the world, but as soon as he achieved his goal, he turned on the Oranbegans, set to conquer their world.

However, the Oranbegans were able to defeat him by separating him from his blade. They banished him back to the netherworld, and locked the sword away, deep underground.

Thousands of years later, in Ancient Greece/Rome, a God (Janus) copulates with a human, creating a great hero. He eventually retires from adventuring and settles down, passing on his divine essence from parent to child.

[u]Modern Times:[u]

The descendant of (Janus), named Jason, is born and lives. He has social troubles in High School, and in College joins some amateur Satanists. Their leader is not a student, and although they don’t know it, a member of the Circle of Thorns. He takes special interested in Jason, sensing the divinity/magic in his blood, and takes him as his pupil. Jason drops out of College and devotes himself to the teacher. The Circle member prepares him with runes inscribed on Jason’s body, as he is working to help get Ravexis back into the mortal plane. He succeeds in getting the demon into Jason’s body without Jason noticing, but before the demon can fully take over his body, Jason over hears his mentor talking with another Circle member about the plot.

He goes into a rage, and kills the Circle members. His rage makes him realize that there is literally a demon in him. He focuses on controlling it, and becomes the hero Demonic Devout (Dark/Dark Scrapper).

Later in Demonic Devout’s career, he investigates some rogue Circle members who are trying to uncover the sword of Ravexis. When he enters the chamber with the sword, Ravexis pushes all his might to control Demonic Devout’s body. He manages enough control to make Jason pick up the sword, and that gives Ravexis even more power. It’s not quite enough, so he summons any dark energy nearby he can, and catches a Nictus.

He introduces the Nictus to Demonic Devout’s body, and the added energy and confusion allows Ravexis to escape Demonic Devout’s body. Demonic Devout is thrown into a state of extreme confusion, madness, and schizophrenia. The violent addition of the Nictus energy and the violent exit of the demonic entity tore Jasons original self in two, into the Divine and the Human. The Gods take pity on him, remove the Divine portion, and properly fuse the Human and Nictus into a Warshade. The new Demigod and Warshade both continued to be heroes.

In-Game Info:

1. [u]Demonic Devout[u]

Jason had social problems through his teen years, but found a group of wannabe cultists in college who became his friends. They were noted by most magical heroes, but as non-threats, as nearly all of their rituals were uneventful, except for the occasional hair color change. However, an older leader of the cult took special interest in Jason. He started having private tutoring sessions with Jason, and eventually Jason devoted his life to the work, dropping out of college. His mentor would teach him how to fight, channel energy, and inscribe magical runes on his skin.

All seemed to be going well, until Jason overheard a conversation between his mentor and another associate. They were talking about a demon, and him, more rituals, and the Circle of Thorns. Jason learned his mentor had been inscribing runes on him in order to summon a demon. He became overwhelmed with anger, losing his temper at a brand new level. It manifested itself almost schizophrenically. Jason realized it was too late, and that the Demon was already inside of him.

Determined to extract revenge, Jason called upon the demons powers and busted down the door, and beat the Circle members to death. The power scared him, and he hid it for a while, until he registered as a hero and started hunting the Circle of Thorns.

2. [u]Demon’s Wrath[u]

Demonic Devout was on the trail of Circle members who were excavating some ancient artifact. Oddly though, other Circle members opposed them. The ancient Oranbegans had buried this artifact for a reason, they said, and it should be kept under wraps. They helped Demonic Devout find the rogue Circle members just as they unearthed the artifact. Demonic Devout busted them, but the demon inside him tried to take over, and caused him to kill all the Circle members present.

Demonic Devout tried to fight it, but was too compelled, and pick up the artifact, a bright red sword handle. Fire sprang from the handle as soon as he did, and formed a sword of flames. It was the signature weapon of the Demon inhabiting Demonic Devout, and it’s presence and then contact allowed it to control more of Demonic Devout than ever before. But it wasn’t quite enough.

The Demon called out, summoning any dark energy nearby. It grabbed hold of a Nictus essence, and pulled that into Demonic Devout’s already divided body and soul. The added energy and confusion allowed the Demon to escape it’s prison, leaving Demonic Devout and the Nictus in one body. It escaped to recuperate and regenerate it’s former powers.

3. [u]Demon’s Grace[u]

When Demonic Devout came upon the ancient fire sword (that once belonged to the Demon inside of him), he became compelled to touch it. This gave the Demon more power over Demonic Devouts body, and after summoning a Nictus into the already divided body, the Demon was able to escape.

The split left Demonic Devout more fragmented than anyone had previously imagined. When the Demon left, it ripped Demonic Devout, also tearing apart his former civilian self of Jason into the two parts that composed him. Jason, the purely human part of him, and a demi-god entity, descended from the god Janus and a human. Jason was also the descendant of Janus, but now his human and divine components were divided.

Demonic Devout was thrown into a cosmic depression, wrought with schizophrenia and madness. The Gods took pity upon him. They separated him once again, but did it much less violently. They removed the Divine portion of Demonic Devout, and helped to correctly fuse Jason and the Nictus as a Warshade proper.

The Nictus, having little personality or identity after the incident with the Demon, submitted fully to Jason, and literally for the first time in his life Jason was himself and completely in control. He lost most of his past powers, but he couldn’t change the fact that he was a Hero, so he started anew as a Warshade.

4. [u]Demonic Demigod[u]

Demonic Devout was wrought with schizophrenia and madness after having his soul fragmented fighting with the Demon that used to reside in him. The Gods helped by separating his Divine, Janus-descendant portion from his original body, and fused his human self with a Nictus into a proper Warshade.

The Divine portion had been very watered down with generations of normal human breeding, but the Gods restored it to a Demigod status. From it’s existence as Demonic Devout, it choose to continue using the negative energy of the netherworld to fuel it’s power. It also took it’s moniker and mission from Demonic Devout; becoming a hero known as Demonic Demigod.

Demonic Devout is a Dark/Dark Scrapper.

Demon's Wrath is a Fire/Dark Brute.

Demon's Grace is a Human/Dwarf WS.

Demonic Demigod is a Dark/Dark Tank.

All I'm looking for is to see if anything makes no sense or sounds really dumb. But of course, any and all comments appreciated.

Haven't checked the in-game info sections for if they meet the character limit, but I can always paraphrase.

Thanks!
