Ok this is the first time I've out a backstory for one of my toons on here. Open to input, both good and bad. I'll try and get a picture up here this weekend.
Introducing Professor Primus, Elec/Elec Brute:
Nathan Primus was an aspiring assistant professor at Paragon City Institue of Technology. His work involved seeking a way to harness the natural electricity the human body generates. Believing that his future position as an associate professor and his tenure hinged on the results, Primus began taking greater risks. During one experiment, he was discovered by school administrators violating safety protocols. The project he had poured his heart and soul into was shut down and he was suspended from his duties.
Angered by the administration's lack of faith in him and his work, he returned to the lab a few days later. He proceeded with the experiment he had been working on, using himself as the test subject. With no one to monitor the experiment the electro-chemical reaction raged out of control. Nathan's body absorbed everything. When the process finally ended, Nathan Primus was a changed man, a charged man. His attempts to turn the human body into a battery had succeded, but to an alarming intensity. Waves of electricity washed over his flesh. Any object he touched triggered an electrical discharge. Wrapping himself in sheets of insulated material he made off with the project notes and some equipment.
Primus set up a new lab in an abandonded wharehouse and set to work on a way to control his body's constant output of electricity. He created an insulated and armored exoskeleton that allowed him to create controlled discharges. The natural electricity from his body also powered the suit's servos, enhancing his strength.
Wanting to test the suit, and seeking a little revenge, Professor Primus returned to the University and confronted the dean. The dean called him a dangerous lunatic and attempted to call the police. Primus killed him and trashed the office in anger. Avoiding persecution, he fled into exile.
Professor Primus is driven to success. He has given his life for his work and it has given him a new life. Primus believes his work is beneficial to humanity, as long as it is beneficial to him first. He secretly longs for the admiration of the academic community that he so publicly despises. Intrigued by the idea of a technocracy proposed by Lord Recluse, Professor Primus plans to secure for himself a position of power within Arachnos where he will be able to continue his scientific work.
