The Thoroughly Sorted Mess that is ME!!!!!

Hello everybody. This is my Thoroughly Sorted Mess about Everything on Husk Corporation for the Benefit of the Public to Review as Needed at any Given Time for Whatever Reason. Call it the T.S.M.E.H.C.B.P.R.N.G.T.W.R. for short.

Husk Corporation Overview.

Husk Corporation is a huge, existence-wide corporation, which has links and ties to essentially everything once you get right down to it. While it’s barely ever been heard of on Terra, Husk Corporation is a prominent force almost everywhere else. Through Husk Corporation, not only does Lord Diov rule over potentially millions of planets, but galaxies and maybe even entire universes as well. Husk Corporation seems to have infinite financial backing, and it has been suggested multiple times they are prone to mercenary operations, able to be hired by others, both for mundane and unusually reasons. The majority of Husk Corporation facilities, just like their master, can apparently move through both space and time effortlessly, and in multiple layers of reality, dimensions, time-tracks, alternate and parallel universes, and so forth. Just by looking at Husk Corporation’s wide-spread influence along with its extremely mobile nature, it is easy to assume that Husk Corporation is almost as old as its master.

But what IS Husk Corporation, in essence? Very well…

For ease-of-use in this situation, Husk Corporation will be divided into the following categories.

Lord Diov
Technomancy
Essence
Absolute Technomancy
Rifting
Husks
Husk Lords
Husk Factions
Fleets
Vilinium
Husk Corporation Tower

Lord Diov

Lord Diov is the master of Husk Corporation. He founded it and built it up to what it is today from scratch. He invented all its Technomancy, Discovered Vilinium, Discovered and Harnessed Essence, Invented Husks, and Hired the Husk Lords. View his profile for more details.

-----

Technomancy

Technomancy. Magical and Technological Mastery combined. Before Lord Diov founded Husk Corporation, he was a technological and magical mastermind. He could cast the most powerful of spells and build the most efficient engines. Eventually, he got the jolly idea of mixing them together to see what you’d get, and in that moment, Technomancy was born. While it is true that Husk Corporation Technomancy is not the first ever process of magical and technological cross-over, it is unique in the form that nobody has exactly what Lord Diov has made. He had a unique process that can not be replicated. So while Technomancy is by no means a unique idea, it is unique in brand of that of Husk Corporation. Technomancy combines the raw power of magic and the efficient process of technology. The sheer destructive power of a doomsday spell with less than tenth of the casting time thanks to generators, although that is a crude example. Technomancy is vastly superior to Techno-Magic and Magitechnology. Lord Diov specifically designed Technomancy to tap into the space around it and manipulate it. This is how Lord Diov discovered Essence. While tapping into the very powers of reality, Diov’s unique style of building his devices unlocked it.

-----

Essence

Essence is a miracle substance. A building block of reality. Alchemy incarnate. Lord Diov discovered essence through his manipulations of reality through technomancy. Essence can be described as POTENTIAL. The potential for something to happen. The potential for anything to happen, big or small, bland or shiny, good or evil, so on and so forth. Everything in existence has essence in this way. If something does not have essence, it cannot exist. Even rocks have essence, in a way. Or rather, the quarks, protons, neurons, and atoms that compose the rock have essence. Or rather, the things that compose the quarks and the protons and the neurons and the atoms have essence. Or rather…

In short, every last thing has a unique “Essence Print.” Much like a fingerprint from a human being. As everything in the sentient spectrum is merely a construct composed of a collection of smaller things, and those things are also constructs composed of even smaller things, and since everything in that eternal formula has a unique and unrepeatable essence print, these collections of things that form the single construct on our level of sentience give that construct a unique “Essence Signature.” After figuring this out, it was only a matter of time until Lord Diov started to find ways to manipulate Essence.

Diov was delighted to find that he could gather, siphon, infuse, and thus manipulate essence just by manipulating probability and possibility. As stated before, essence is POTENTIAL. The more of it there is in one thing, the more potential it has to do something to effect the world around it. How does that potential work? By influencing essence in other constructs around its own construct. So in a way, it is all one big game of dominoes, where the biggest dominos have complete dominance over smaller dominoes. Or to be more exact, bigger concentrations of essence have dominance over smaller concentrations of essence.

So if a rock has enough essence composed in it, it might one day be picked up by someone, and thrown into the ocean. Yea, that’s potential! Generally speaking, the larger any one construct is, the more essence it is going to have because of the higher concentration of smaller constructs composing it. However, some materials have less essence in them due to what they are. So non-organic material will naturally have less essence in it than organic material. The same applies to sentient beings. Even intangible and untouchable mental power has essence in it, despite the fact it isn’t really made of anything. This gives sentient beings more essence and therefore more potential than that which is not sentient.

And in this way, Lord Diov found out how he could change existence. By manipulating essence, he could literally change reality. This is how Lord Diov gained his reality manipulating powers. By building sufficiently advanced Technomancy that specifically manipulated the possibilities and probabilities of reality, Lord Diov could harness the power of essence in any way he liked. By manipulating essence properly, he could conjure whatever he wished out of thin air. By manipulating it properly, he could destroy whatever stood in his way. By manipulating it properly, he could make something stronger or weaker through how much potential it had. Diov can use essence to create anything from food, and clothing to weapons and buildings up to entire worlds. This eventually gave birth to Absolute Technomancy.

-----

Absolute Technomancy

Absolute Technomancy is the ultimate fusion of Technomancy and Essence. Diov found a way to create Technomancy through the use of essence, therefore eliminating his needs for natural resources. When he started creating Technomancy in this way which directly manipulated Essence, Absolute Technomancy came to be. In a way, Absolute Technomancy is a form of absolute power. Unlimited energy to harness in any way you please with no consequences that could also recreate itself endlessly. It is a wonder why Lord Diov has not taken over all of existence through this method. Perhaps it will always be a mystery.

Absolute Technomancy led to the creation of Rifting and Husks.

-----

Rifting

Lord Diov, after manipulating Essence for a while, decided eventually to see just how far he could go in creating it. He did two major experiments. First, he created and a fully detailed and self-operating Universe entirely out of essence. Second, he took an already existing Universe, and completely drained it of its Essence, leaving JUST enough so that it didn’t turn into nothingness.

The created Universe was called the Dimension of Mists. Check the Others section for more details on it.

The Universe that had its Essence siphoned away was renamed as the Rift Realm.

There is a complete lack of Essence anywhere in the Rift Realm. There is JUST enough Essence there that the Realm does not fall into Nothingness. So the Rift Realm is essentially just an endless plane of open space. Lord Diov uses the Rift Realm as a means of instantaneous transportation, creating gateways in and out of it in order to get around. Husk Corporation uses Rifting as a form of Teleporting.

-----

Husks

Husks are the employees of Husk Corporation. They are constructs. By gathering essence using Absolute Technomancy, and by manipulating it and twisting it, Lord Diov formed sentient beings composed of nothing but solidified Essence. Husks. They can take whatever shape and form Lord Diov decides to give them, and by manipulating the Essence, they are eternally loyal and faithful only to him. They can have memories, personalities, abilities, powers, anything designated by the creator. Almost like programming how a computer works. Since husks could be made out of Essence, this guaranteed an unlimited and truly endless supply of Husks as long as Lord Diov continued to make them. By equipping Husks with Essence-made weapons, Essence-made materials, and Essence-made resources, Lord Diov was now ready to unleash his might upon existence with an endless army of Essence-constructs and even entire planets, civilizations, and cities made of the stuff.

First though, he needed a default setting for his husks. Something to base his Husks off of. It is speculated that Diov spent hundreds of Aeons looking for the right people. Thus, the Husk Lords came to be.

-----

Husk Lords

After searching for what must have been a very long time, Lord Diov eventually located six “Husk Lords.” Six people, or original specimens, that all his husks would be based off of. The Six Husk Lords are…

Walker
Tribal
White
Nomed
Poe
Kuro

Each Husk Lord was granted a form of immortality. Each was ageless, and would cease to gain in age even a single second beyond what age they were when they joined Lord Diov. Additionally, they cannot truly “die.” Upon “death” through violent persuasion, their Essence is manipulated in such a way that re-writes reality itself so that they never died, but rather, escaped by unknown means right before expiring. In this way, the Husk Lords cannot ever truly be defeated.

Along with their semi-immortality, each was given special training and powers. See their individual profiles for more.

-----

Husk Factions

Lord Diov based Husks off of the Husk Lords, which means there are at least six different types of Husks. (There are more.) They will now be listed and briefly described here. Note, that all Husks of one faction all bear the same name. The name of the Original. So all Walker Faction Husks are called, “Mr. Walker.” To make the original stand out, he is given the title of “Lord.” So the Husk Lord of the Walker Husk faction is called “Lord Walker.”

Walker Husks.

Walker Husks are the kamikaze units of Husk Corporation. They are all very physically weak, and any super-powered entity can take them down. The catch? They have ridiculously over-powered weapons. They are all equipped with pistols that fire a wide variety of deadly ammunition, and from time to time they have been known to use rocket-launchers, also with a wide variety of ammo types. They hit hard and die fast.

Tribal Husks

Tribal Husks are the snipers of Husk Corporation. They are extreme-long-range specialists. Each one is equipped with a sniper rifle and various ammunition for it. They all have ultra-high perception, and can see through all forms of stealth to attack their targets.

White Husks

White Husks are the Lieutenants of Husk Corporation. They dual wield fully automatic Uzis with a wide variety of ammo, and they are equipped with grenades. That’s not all though. Each one is trained in multiple martial arts, Terran and Alien. In close combat, they are whirling nightmares of flying limbs that shatter bone and crush armor effortlessly. In fact, they have heightened honed reflexes, and at close range, (Note: ONLY close range) they are downright impossible to hit.

Nomed Husks

Nomed Husks are the tank units of Husk Corporation. It is quite clear, the Nomed Husks are walking tanks. They are all super-strong, rivaling Statesman himself in strength, and they are all nigh-invulnerable to harm. Oddly enough, they are the smartest of all the Husk types. This is because the original, Lord Nomed, has an official I.Q. of 478…Out of 300. Note though, that this doesn’t make them clever or witty or devious in any way. They don’t even have an ounce of common sense. They are just VERY logical. So don’t be fooled by their brutish make-up. The only reason they drool, speak in grunts, and seem to live on pain is because they prefer to be seen as senseless brutes rather than super-intelligent geniuses. They feel it gives them a slight edge in combat.

Poe Husks

The self declared “Atomic Pyromaniac Gods of Fiery Doom” division of Husk Corporation. These are arsonists. They are all equipped with explosives, flamethrowers, various gadgets and traps, and worst of all, cloaking devices. Hell Hath No Fury like a Pissed off Arsonist with a Cloaking Device.

Kuro Husks

Kuro Husks are the Generals of Husk Corporation. They are the most powerful Husk type there is. They are all master tacticians, have Empowering Presences that strengthen their allies, and they all wield Dark, Negative powers. These husks are essentially equivalent to Purple Elite Bosses. Thankfully though, they are very rare, and are only seen to be leading large forces in direct assaults.

Darkform Husks

Darkform Husks are not based off of a Husk Lord. It has been suggested these are based off of the first Husk ever created. These Husks are relatively harmless, if it weren’t for their abilities. These creatures weaken everything around them. While they cannot actually attack or deal direct injuries, they can significantly weaken their opponents, corrupting them and hindering them with horrible curses of darkness. If exposed to a Darkform Husk for too long, those not resistant to such effects can even be knocked unconscious by their malevolent aura.

Mob Husk

A Mob Husk is a husk given a single pistol, and their choice of an axe or a sledgehammer, and sent out to fight. These husks are extremely weak. They make up for it with their sheer numbers. These husks always attack as a single group, and their basic game plan is to simply overwhelm their enemies with numbers.

Mr. Diov Husks

These are Husk Clones of Lord Diov. Perfect Body-Doubles. Perfect Meat-Shields. It is hard to describe their abilities because they can be given any amount of strength and power depending on how Lord Diov makes them.

Infiltration Husks

The Black Ops of Husk Corporation. These are Husks who have been meticulously, painstakingly, and individually programmed for personality, appearance, and purpose. These Husks are impossible to identify as Husks if you don’t already know what they are. They are perfect in form, because that form is their life.

Interesting Fact: Currently, there is only ONE Infiltration Husk in-thread existence, and has yet to be unveiled. This one husk is the only one of its kind, and is the only one to have ever currently been deployed. Its codename has only been said once.

Those are all the Husk Types. However, an endless army of ground troops is only so good. You need things that are bigger and better. You need armadas. You need fleets.

-----

Fleets

Husk Corporation has ten Fleets, each of which has ten thousand armadas. (Such a size IS necessary and is NOT overkill. See the Time/Space section.) These Fleets are…

First Fleet: Led by Lord Diov
Second Fleet: Led by Kuro
Third Fleet: Led by Poe
Fourth Fleet: Led by Nomed
Fifth Fleet: Led by White
Sixth Fleet: Led by Tribal
Seventh Fleet: Led by Walker
Eighth Fleet: Led by Xabu
Ninth Fleet: Led by Noitpeced
Tenth Fleet: Led by ???

Each fleet is customized to its leader, and each has a specific and different purpose.

-----

Vilinium

Things could not have looked better for Lord Diov by now. Then he discovered Vilinium. The details of how he discovered it are strictly confidential, and will not be disclosed here. A description of Vilinium is allowable though. So here it is.

Vilinium is untouchable. It is a solid substance (which cannot be artificially recreated or copied, even through Essence Manipulation) where nothing can exist around it. Literally. To fully explain Vilinium, we shall refer to a sample. The sample is a perfect orb about a foot in diameter. Extending by an inch in every direction of the surface of the orb is any area in which nothing except other samples of Vilinium is allowed to exist. Nothing else aside from Vilinium can enter that area. Not even air, not even gravity, not even light. Nothing. As of such, it is impossible to see what Vilinium looks like since no light is rebounding off of it, and therefore it always appears as a solid mass of total blackness. Lord Diov alone discovered it, and only he alone knows how to manipulate, the secret being closely guarded. He uses Vilinium in many ways, including the construction of the Husk Corporation Tower. (Described below.) As of such, this material can be considered completely indestructible. Nobody else has Vilinium. That is not an opinion, that is a fact. Efforts to steal samples of it have failed miserably, and have proved to be all but impossible for reasons unknown.

Now you must be thinking: How can one even grip items made of Vilinium, or wear armor made of it or walk on floors made of it? The answer being, the no-entry zone acts as a solid tangible surface at its boundary, allowing for usage.

It is impossible to teleport directly through walls of Vilinium for some odd reason. When teleporting, you must maneuver around walls of Vilinium.

Phase Shifting through Vilinium will not work.

Fortunately, it appears Lord Diov has a very limited amount of Vilinium, and therefore is very choosy about how he uses it…

-----

Husk Corporation Tower

Husk Corporation Tower is the official H.Q. of Husk Corporation. It is constructed entirely from Vilinium, so naturally, it appears as a gigantic solid tower of blackness. It is exactly one hundred and fifty stories tall, and thirty floors in width.

The Husk Corporation Tower resides in the Dimension of Mists, which is the Husk Corporation Home Dimension.

Even though the Husk Corporation Tower has a limited exterior appearance, it has an infinite amount of interior space on each of its one hundred and fifty floors. There are currently only two floors in the entire tower that anyone outside of Husk Corporation knows about. The first floor and the one hundred and fiftieth floor. The first floor is devoted entirely too all aspects in the Terran Megaverse, while the one hundred and fiftieth floor is Lord Diov’s office.

The tower has many offensive and defensive features, all of which are classified.

-----

Time/Space

Time Travel! Alternate Realities! Parallel Universes! Different Time-Tracks! It’s all one huge mess! How does Lord Diov possibly cover all of it? How can Husk Corporation be spread through all of existence?

The answer being? The Absolute Technomancy which is given a section above. Manipulating Probabilities and Possibilities is quite complex and it can give way to everything.

Lord Diov can travel effortlessly through both time and space with the proper Technomancy, as can the Husk Corporation Tower, or any base, vessel, or member of Husk Corporation. So after Husk Corporation was founded, it probably traveled back to the very beginning of existence and started working its way up until the end of existence, everywhere at once.

Now keep in mind, while space is infinite, time is not. Husk Corporation exists both before and beyond time as well. Using its advanced Technomancy, Husk Corporation can literally exist everywhere, in everyplace, at every time that was ever, ever.

This means that there is no praetorian version of Husk Corporation.

That’s right. I’m sorry people who would love to sic a praetorian version of myself on me-But that’s not possible, because there isn’t one, because Husk Corporation already exists everywhere, in everyplace, at every time that was ever, ever, and all actualities are covered, and all of them have CONFIRMED that there is no praetorian version of Husk Corporation.

-----

Other

The Others Section! This covers what was not covered above.

Does Husk Corporation have a home Dimension, a place where they are ultimately and infinitely powerful and influential? Yes! They have several dimensions like this, but the official home-turf of Husk Corporation is the Dimension of Mists, created by Lord Diov while experimenting with Essence. It is an infinitely large dimension filled completely with black, red, and purple mist, absolutely everywhere. There are planets here and there, but there are no stars to give off heat or light. Heat and light is provided by energy discharges created by the mist.

Huh? Who are Noitpeced and Xabu? I’m glad you asked. Noitpeced is Lord Diov’s personalized A.I. and his official right-hand-construct. Check his profile for more details. Xabu is a close personal friend of Diov’s who met him before Husk Corporation was founded. Again, check his profile.

Terra Obsession. Lord Diov, for some peculiar reason, has an obsession with Terra for reasons unknown, despite the facts that it is a small planet with no valuable resources and an ignorant and stupid dominant race that has not even gotten further than their own moon yet in terms of space travel. It shall forever be a mystery why he is so obsessed with it, and it is an even bigger mystery why he hasn’t just gone and invaded the planet to claim it as his own.

Physical Description.

History: Lord Diov first appeared in the RP thread “Final Fight.” Upon arrival in the illusionary world, he knew about almost everything that had progressed throughout the world up until that point, fully understood the workings of the battle-world, and brought along with him nearly unlimited resources and an unlimited number of minions, as well as a seemingly indestructible tower fortress. He quickly set into motion with several doomsday-story arcs, which were later abandoned for unknown reasons. He immediately made an enemy of sorts with Acid Zero and his allies by attacking them with an army of Voltaic Sentinels, as well as Blightlord by pulling seemingly pointless antics in his base and capturing his lead lich temporarily. He attempted to send representatives to a congregation of villainous beings near his tower, but everything dissolved into chaos and erupted into another fight. Having provoked Blightlord, the necromancer gathered an army and assaulted the mysterious tower that served as Lord Diov’s base. Although numerous attempts to damage the tower in any way failed, Blightlord managed to infiltrate the tower, fight his way through many traps, (including a cloned version of himself) and engaged Diov in a one-on-one duel, which ended badly for Diov when a mysterious figure called Darkstorm Essence intervened and aided Blightlord, along with the surprise attack of one of Blightlord’s allies, Void Brawler. The mastermind escaped intact, activating a device which removed his tower from the world for reasons unknown, which assumedly also removed the rest of his minions, resources, and bases from the world, although there is strong evidence which suggests everything but the tower was merely destroyed.

Diov reappeared near a recently magically rebuilt city, and entered a short and uneasy alliance with a hero called Truefeather. He apparently made several attempts to persuade the hero to aid him in various schemes, but failed. Things started to look worse when two Soviet-themed villains invaded, and chased out Treufeather. One of Diov’s henchmen, Noitpeced, has also survived the assault on the tower, had fled against his instructions and made an alliance with the villains. Diov, outraged, demanded they handed Noitpeced over so he could be destroyed. Instead, a team-up of sorts occurred when Noitpeced suggested to Diov that he should merely be reconfigured rather than destroyed. The team-up would not last long though, because Noitpeced transported the new group to Acid Zero’s currently crashed Dark-ship. Diov, desperate to get inside, quickly abandoned his new allies in favor of infiltrating the ship as quickly as possible. After a series of chaotic events, Diov used his powers to bring two of Acid Zero’s enemies into the battle-world to help him fight. After a series of short fights, in which Diov summoned an odd stalker-like construct made entire from rags, Diov located and battled Acid Zero. His luck did not hold however, and one of the two beings he had brought forth killed himself, the rag construct, and the other being instantly, leaving Diov locked in one-on-one combat with Acid Zero. The fight raged on for quite some time, with both masterminds pulling numerous tricks on each other, until finally at the end, Diov came out victorious. The thread was left hanging and suspended with Diov running across the villains he had abandoned back outside the ship after leaving the scene of his fight with Acid Zero.

Lord Diov appeared again in the “City of Zombies” thread, in which he landed on Earth thinking of the zombie apocalypse as the perfect excuse for a vacation. He stayed there briefly, and after entering a destructive duel with a robotic entity called Drone of War, he apparently left the planet, leaving his Husk Lords stranded behind to fend for themselves. Diov appeared again much later to attempt another attack on Acid Zero, which he thought was won merely because he had damaged Acid’s strange doomsday device, and stolen one of the three from him as well. As it turned out, the machine was still functional after having been damaged by Diov, and Acid later tricked Poe, rendering the crystal used to absorb whatever Diov had wanted useless.

After City of Zombies, Lord Diov has been mentioned several times by his minions and associates in other threads, and has often been observed at a distance during moments of humor, observation, or whenever he needs to deliver a personal order to one of his Husk Lords. However, he has yet to make an actual physical appearance since City of Zombies. Lord Diov seems to have taken on a mostly secondary nature, seeming to be more of an untouchable spectator or audience of sorts rather than an actual character. He has often been described as being beyond god-like in proportion and power since his last appearance, which suggests his suddenly reclusive habits sprung up as a result of a personal transformation of some kind which made him more powerful, but perhaps more limited as well. It is often hinted that he does occasionally interact with some situations personally, so it may be only a matter of time before Lord Diov hits the threads as a character once more.

Analysis: Lord Diov is played as a powerful entity. He is physically large, being ten feet tall and having changed his height many times. He is often displayed as being very arrogant, underrating his enemies and refusing to believe anyone is an actual threat to him. He wields a scythe that is almost taller than him for a weapon, and has a gem hat gives him nearly unlimited power. He claims he can manipulate reality itself, and encounters with him more or less prove that he CAN. Diov apparently invented all of the Husk Corporation Technomancy himself, despite his seemingly dull-witted behavior, and he loves to endlessly brag and boast about how his devices and baubles are superior to everything else presented, despite all evidence to the contrary. He often positions himself on the highest available means of elevation in the area when physically present, and one (now deceased) Husk let slip that Lord Diov often bends dimensional probability around him slightly to make his appearance always seem as dramatic as possible, from minor things as small as light glinting off his monocles, to as major as explosions and columns of energy and roaring gashes into oblivion howling all about him. When not in the presence of other characters, Diov’s voice is displayed as being very bland and plain, so much so that it is even hard to know he said anything! When in the presence of others, particularly enemies, his voice tends to boom and echo, and is very deep, whereas when he is addressing allies, his voice in very soft and high-pitched. Going right around with the sound of his voice, Lord Diov appears to have extreme mood-swings that apply depending to his company. When with personal company, he tends to be very clam and collected, even somewhat kind and generous. With allies, he tends to lace his words with veiled threats, boasts about his immense power, and is generally uncaring towards others unless they prove to be critical in some way. When confronting enemies, Diov tends to shout and growl quite a lot, and usually never speaks unless it is to deliver a taunt of sorts, which is usually crudely constructed and just barely adequate for the situation at hand. While it is very obvious Lord Diov is an immensely intelligent entity, his casual appearance is that of a brute barely bright enough to figure out how to tie his own shoes. It is only in when in private or the company of trusted individuals that he shows any signs of logic.

In short, Lord Diov appears to be completely contradictory. As opposed to an outstanding genius who built a literally existence-wide corporation from scratch which spans from before to beyond time itself, who is infinitely wise and logically, who destroys entire megaverses with but a twitch of his nose, and a master battle tactician, he appears to be a rather disconnected dolt who is mostly just a violent brute who can barely comprehend the destruction of a planet, much less a megaverse, and appears to have the I.Q. of a barnacle.

Most of these can be fairly pinned down as simple odd quirks of his personality, either that or he has a sense of humbleness that motivates him to appear as a god and act as a thug. (Unlikely.) One thing that strikes especially odd, however, is his absolute refusal to believe that anything is more advanced or effective than his technomancy, even in the face of overwhelming evidence. He is so insistent on the matter that it borders delusion. From this, we can conclude that Lord Diov is too proud to admit that something/someone outdid him, or that he really IS delusional and actually believes what he has made is the best there is, for reasons unknown.

Despite Lord Diov’s wide-spread and obvious influence, he seems to have a dead-set interest in Terra, even though it is a small, primitive, and unnecessary at best. Perhaps he is looking for something there, or this is merely a flight of fancy on his part.

Powers: Lord Diov’s confirmed primary ability is that of summoning. He can apparently summon his minions right out of thin air, and has a seemingly unlimited supply of them, so perhaps it is a form of creation rather than summoning. His minions are standard Husk Corporation Husks, although he has also shown the ability to summon a huge mob of weaker, but extremely numerous Husks at any given time. Lord Diov’s confirmed secondary ability is reality manipulation. What he does is merely manipulate the dimensional probability and possibility of certain things happening or not happening, and by enlargement of this ability, he can seem to control reality itself. It has been hinted though, that Lord Diov has other means of achieving similar effects without manipulating possibilities. Diov can use his reality manipulating powers to summon a bazaar creature called a Darkform Husk, which seems like a collected mass of shadows and negative energy. He can also do a wide variety of deadly tricks, from turning the ground to tar, to making black holes appear out of thin air for no good reason at all. Diov wields a giant Sythe in combat, with both long range and close range potential. Lord Diov has an empowering presence, which tends to strengthen any allies who are nearby, making them faster and more evasive, stronger and harder-hitting, and more responsive and accurate. Diov is very nimble and acrobatic, as well as being able to rocket in any desired direction, or “super jump.” This is due to his Dimensional Accelerator. Lord Diov can move instantly and effortlessly from spot to spot via rifting, a variation of teleporting. Lord Diov has shown on numerous occasions that he can manipulate his own body, and as of such, can manipulate it in small ways to increase his speed, reflexes, recovery and regeneration rates, acting as a form of passive fitness.

Occupation: Lord Diov is the master of Husk Corporation, which he apparently founded and built up from scratch.

Equipment:

Scythe: Lord Diov carries a Scythe made of an unknown miracle substance which seems impervious to harm and can cut through anything at all as if it was made of paper. It is almost taller than him at a staggering ten feet tall from bottom to top of the shaft, with the blade being almost six feet long. The shaft has various obviously-magical gems embedded in it, along with technological nano-lines as well, and a few technomantic components installed within, and there are several runes that appear to have been carved into the flat sides of the blade. Obvious, Lord Diov has been continually upgrading his scythe, improving it every chance he gets. It can fire bolts of energy from its head, channel and gather power Diov has tapped for ease-of-use, project kinetic shields, thrown and come back to its master like a boomerang, can teleport back to Diov when out of a certain range, and at times, can even seem to take on a mind of its own and float through the air on its own accord, hacking and slashing at everything nearby.

Gem: Nothing is really known much about this strange gem, which everybody usually mistakes as a simple cape brooch until it is far too late. Either Lord Diov stores energy in it, or it is an artifact of seemingly infinite power. Whatever it may be, in times of need, Diov seems to be able to draw a literally endless supply of energy from this gem to aid him.

Dimensional Accelerator: From snippets of what has been heard about the Dimensional Accelerator, it is apparently an apparatus installed surgically that grafts itself into the body, intertwining delicately throughout, with their being six focused points of the apparatus: Each limb, the head, and the center of the torso. The Dimensional Accelerator is built to simply sling-shot rocket the user in any desired directly, being just a little slower than instant transportation. (Teleporting) The way in which people can move in any direction as of such, even straight up into the air, has had it ironically dubbed as “super jumping.” Ironic because, you can move downwards just as fast as you can move upwards with the Dimensional Accelerator.

Monocles: These are no ordinary monocles. These project a huge variety of useful projections that allow the user to see tactical data, assault information, and maneuvering options in a fight, even being provided with a targeting reticule, but these come with a built-in probability generator, data blister, rift beacon, enough scanners to identify a grain of sand in a haystack, and even an A.I. It is odd that Lord Diov uses these, because he has no eyes to see any of these projections anyway.

Pocket Pocket Dimensions: It is quite simple. His pockets lead into endless pocket dimensions where he can stick just about anything for safe keeping.

Signature Abilities:

Rifting: Similar to teleporting, Lord Diov can move instantly and effortlessly from one spot to another. While not unique in design, it IS unique in flavor, as those who have seen rifting in action will tell you.

Dark Seekers: Lord Diov can fire off a scatter-shot round of dark seekers made of dimensional flux from his scythe if he builds up enough energy. Dark seekers move frighteningly fast and are maddeningly agile. They home in on opponents and explode viciously on contact. They cannot be destroyed, they have to be directly blocked.

Gem Tap: When in trouble, Lord Diov can tap into the limitless energies of his gem.

Scythe Ally: Lord Diov will occasionally cast aside his scythe in a fight, which will float and fight as if it has a mind of its own.

Parallel Blast: ???

Physical Description.

History: Lord Poe first appeared in the “City of Zombies” thread, where he took over Husk Corporation’s operations on Terra after the departure of the rest of the Husk Lords and Lord Diov. He spent the majority of his time attempting to hunt down and capture Acid Zero before the thread was suspended.

Poe reappeared in the “Shadow Manor” thread. He quickly took up the role of primary antagonist. He started out by fooling Schayde, the protagonist of the thread, and her friends into trusting him. After traveling to her manor, Poe split from the group and proceeded to booby-trap the house. After a ferocious struggle in which a giant monster was summoned and the house was eventually destroyed, Poe was subdued by a powerful bomb-like device employed by one of Schayde’s friends, Power Breaker. The corrupter barely managed to escape through the aid of a device which temporarily froze time.

Poe then enlisted the help of Egarim, a Cyber Reaper who was a figment of Noitpeced the Energy Reaper. Poe thought that Egarim was really Noitpeced, and this fatal mistake would ultimately lead to his next defeat. Egarim was by no means harmless, and proved himself to be a dangerous foe despite being a mere figment. He struck a deal with the Malta group, who deployed a Kronos Class Titan against Schayde and her allies, who managed to destroy it. They then retreated into the shelter of the Derrick, a floating ocean fortress of sorts. Its formidable defenses did not stop Egarim though. He snuck in, and quickly hacked the control systems of the Derrick, turning the giant fortress and its defenses against those inside it. During the hubbub, Egarim shut down the anti-teleportation fields, allowing Poe to get into the Derrick himself, where he promptly started another fight with its inhabitants. Everything went downhill when the Brutal Warriors, the owners of the Derrick, employed an anti-virus entity called Ryat, who managed to distract Egarim inside cyberspace long enough for the Warriors to shut down the control system, forcing Egarim back into the physical world. Poe was defeated soon after in the higher section of the Derrick. Egarim, who hadn’t figured that out yet, went on a massive rampage, possessing menial house-hold appliances and forcing them to fight their masters, pushing over walls, and attacking everything in sight, ending when he took Schayde hostage. Egarim was quickly put out of permission when Power Breaker threatened to kill the unconscious Poe. Noitpeced showed up and hastily struck a bargain to get Poe out of his mess. The situation ended when Noitpeced, Egarim, and Poe left the Derrick via rifting.

Poe by this point was furious, so he enlisted the help of yet another ally, a mysterious armored giant only known as Xabu. After a period of inaction, waiting for Schayde to move into a vulnerable position, Poe got fed up and summoned a violent entity known as the Lord of Rags, a golem-like construct made out entirely of…well…rags. The rag man attacked the Derrick in giant-form, but was quickly put down with the aid of Vyachslav, a giant dragon-like creature who had showed up. The Lord of Rags reverted to a stalker-like tactics, proceeding to strike out of nowhere through means of stealth, and then rapidly vanishing again through unknown means. Schayde escaped intact, despite the rag man’s best efforts, and since then, Poe has yet to take up any more activities.

Analysis: Poe is played as a bit of an immature child. He always starts out with a playful and cheerful demeanor, which then splits several ways depending on his situation. Poe always looks for opportunities to set things on fire, or barring that, blowing them up. Poe is a pyromaniac, and regardless of attempts against doing so, Poe will usually fulfill his need for some form of destruction through either betraying those around him or attacking the nearest innocent bystander. Poe can simply not sit still and wait for excusable opportunities. Even when destroying and wrecking things though, Poe maintains his jolly and playful mood, treating every fight like a game of sorts. It is only ever when Poe takes an extreme beating that he gets mad. He is prone to swearing absolute vengeance on those who “Make things NOT fun.” It is sometimes remarked by other Husk Lords that they stopped aging after joining Husk Corporation, and evidence proves that Poe was eighteen when Lord Diov recruited him. As an adolescent probably still going through later stages of Human growth, it is easy to imagine Poe would retain his pyromania even after uncounted years working for Husk Corporation, as well as the severe mood-swings of youth. Being stuck eternally in a state where he is still continually growing without pause in such a fashion has provoked a mutation of sorts which among other things, allows Poe to conjure and control fire, as well as being completely immune to it. On the downside though, the extreme stress of his cellular structure being forcibly compressed while still expanding and mutating has shattered his mind, and while the other Husk Lords can be described as mildly disturbed, and have their conditions written off as being the results of living for so long, Poe can be described as being full-blown insane. He was simply TOO young when he gained eternal youth, so now his own body is damaging his mind. Poe will go out of his way to see that innocents are harmed, and prefers the scorched earth policy over all others. He has a complete and blatant disregard for life, and there have been several hints that suggest he pointlessly tortures captives. The reason being, he is possibly always in a constant state of mental agony, and can simply not bring himself to commit suicide to end the pain. Poe remarked in City of Zombies that the reason he loved flame was because of the way it transformed the world around it, and because it reduced everything to a state of sweet oblivion. Poe must find some form of mental relief through combustion, and believes that through fire and destruction, he can bring about an era of nothingness that can soothe his mind.

This is odd because of Poe’s casual behavior. Although he secretly reveres fire and oblivion, he acts as though he couldn’t care any less about either, treating his fire powers as just another method of entertainment. He only breaks down and publicly displays his desires through great stress. It could be that Poe can also find a form of mental relief through social interaction of sorts, thus provoking his normally jovial behavior.

Powers: Due to his mutation, Poe can both conjure and manipulate fire, and is also consequently immune to it as well. It is impossible to damage Poe in any way through means of combustion or heat. Poe is also a trap-master. He was born in an alternate time-track of Terra that was always in a constant state of world war, and his father, a retired army veteran, taught him the ways of traps and gadgets, both magical and technological. Access to the vast technomantic devices of Husk Corporation has agreed with Poe, and he has not only become quite the expert on Technomancy, but he has aided Lord Diov considerably in inventing new Technomancy, and is solely responsible for the invention of Uramai fields. Using the vast arrays of Technomancy devices, Poe can create and place booby-traps that would make the Knives of Artemis ashamed. Poe knows that being able to rift wherever he wants at a whim is nice, but there are some situations where no amount of instantaneous movement simply won’t cut it. As of such, he is equipped with a Gravitational Distortion Device which gives him flight. Poe has also artificially enhanced his own body using Technomantic devices place through surgery, and has enhanced speed, recovery, and regeneration. Poe understands that nobody appreciates it when they discover you placing bombs on their property, so he has a cloaking device which allows him to become invisible so that nobody has to see him placing bombs on their property. Poe, just like all Husk Corporation personnel, has a Rift Beacon that allows him to move instantly from one spot to another.

Occupation: Lord Poe is head of the Mr. Poe Husks division of Husk Corporation, naturally. He is also usually deployed when something needs to be blown up without being detected, or whenever a show of raw power is needed.

Equipment:

Blast Goggles: These goggles serve as standard Husk Corporation Sunglasses.

Gravitational Distortion Device: Allows Poe to fly.

Pocket Pocket Dimensions: Poe has bottomless Pocket Dimensions in his Pockets, where he keeps an endless supply of traps.

Cloaking Device: This allows Poe to become invisible.

Seeker Shurikan Bombs: These are specially modified Seeker Drones which rather than exploding in flashes of disorienting light, merely explode in violent bursts of energy that can level buildings. They are also modified to home in on targets at abnormally high speed for Seeker Drones. Poe refers to them as Shurikan due to the way he throws them at his targets. Unlike the rest of Poe’s arsenal, he only has a limited supply of these, as he recently developed them and has not yet had time to mass produce them into his normally endless supply of traps.

Rift Beacon: Allows Poe to Rift.

Fifty-Megaton Back-Pack Thermonuclear Device: Poe has this tiny beauty strapped into his vest, and it is set to detonate should his vest ever be removed by anyone other than himself.

He really likes his vest.

Technomantic Essence Infusion and Manipulation Gauntlets: These allow Poe to infuse his fire attacks with essence, giving them extra bang for the buck. This also allows Poe to manipulate essence on small scales. He has often mentioned an additional feature which he hasn’t gotten to work yet…

Signature Abilities:

Seeker Shurikan Bombs: These are specially modified Seeker Drones which rather than exploding in flashes of disorienting light, merely explode in violent bursts of energy that can level buildings. They are also modified to home in on targets at abnormally high speed for Seeker Drones. Poe refers to them as Shurikan due to the way he throws them at his targets. Unlike the rest of Poe’s arsenal, he only has a limited supply of these, as he recently developed them and has not yet had time to mass produce them into his normally endless supply of traps.

Factory Mode: When prompted, Poe can take off his vest and leave it on the ground, where it will continuously and endlessly dispense traps that will target the nearest threat. Poe doesn’t like to do this, because he REALLY likes his vest, and because that leaves him unable to pull out any traps he might need.
