Want 3D art? Check out Deviantart.com. there are lots of 3d artists there. Only prob though is that you need to show some screenshots of your character and you'll be looking at easily $100 for a really good version from a really good 3D artist.
3D images of superheroes (or any character, for that matter), is one of my specialties. I have an extensive gallery at DeviantArt, and a full price list on my website... both are listed in my sig below.

I've done 3D work, I even done free 3D work, but I'm nowhere close to Dark_jedi's talent. I do think DJs work IS worth the price. He puts alot of time and effort into his pieces. the detailing is what drives the price up. I do understand the price issue, just remember you get what you pay for so be careful with whom you choose.

I hope what I said has not offended DJ as that was not my intention, only to say that I cannot currently afford to have a custom made portrait from him. His work is an inspiration and I commend him for it!

No, I don't think you offended DJ. He is very good at what he does. It takes many hours to do what he does. If I was capable to put as much time as he does on a piece, then I'd probably charge 3 times what he does.
Without saying, I tend to compare him to a Da Vinci of 3D... but that's me.
Yah, check out DA. There are many 3d artist there. I do some but I just do my own and maybe a couple others that I know at this time. Sorry I can't offer my help. Check out my DA page and I have several CoX people on my Friends list if that helps. Good luck.
There are some amazing talents on DA and I've looked through many a page there.
I'll keep a lookout on the forums and see if my luck turns up an artist within my budget.

I am inquiring about having a custom made 3D portrait done for one of my toons.
I don't have a very big budget to work with, so I'm looking for something inexpensive, if that is at all possible.
The portrait would be of my Justice server main, Mistic Rays (a mind/emp), probably in flight and/or attacking.
It would also need some form of background to it, most likely a sight from either Atlas Park or the SG base.
If possible, I would also like, in addition to a digital copy by e-mail and CD, a print of the artwork. Perhaps something along the lines of 16x24"? The printing I can do, provided the digital copy is large enough to not be blurred too much.
If you, or someone you know of, could handle the job for a decent price, I'd love to hear from you! Also, if you know of a website where I can view artwork such as this, or perhaps an artist you could point me towards, I'd more than appreciate it!
