Steel Circuit Wrestling
What is SCW?: Steel Circuit Wrestling is an E-Fed (Electronic Federation) that is based around a fictional Hardcore Wrestling Federation.
What do I do?: Simple, a character creation template will be listed, to which you can then fill out. Develop a character, or use one that's already out there (ever wanted to Roleplay AJ Styles? The choice is yours) and write RPs for that character in relation to cards that are listed. Creative freedom is up to you, and it's all about communication.
What's the point?: Hardcore wrestling marks will get why this is being proposed and put together. It's fun to be able to control aspects of something that you enjoy watching, ever wanted to have a hand in dictating how feuds in wrestling go, ever wanted to write your own promos and be the master of the mic instead of watching Matt Hardy slobber all over it like some 2 dollar Jabroni? Here's your shot.
Results? What are those?: Results will describe how each match turns out, and will also feature storyline hooks, plot twists, etc.
How do I join?: Just post your interest here, if enough people want to get this started, a character creation template will be posted.
If you have any other questions, just send me a PM. If you have any suggestions or thoughts, feel free to share them.

I'd originally posted this in another section of the forums, knowing that it would gain the attention of those that enjoy sports entertainment wrestling. It was suggested that I move the post to other sections to try and catch the attention of more people, namely, the Roleplayers. This may or may not interest you, but regardless, here goes!

[u]ICW The Golden Age of Hardcore[u]
International Championship Wrestling started as a cult wrestling phenomenon, much akin to that of RoH (Ring of Honor). The First Promoter/ Wrestler was "The Great Sasuke" as well as a Japanese entourage comprised of "Jushin 'Thunder' Liger", "Taka Michinoku", "The Great Muta", and "Ultimo Dragon". Those wrestlers were the first guys to wage war against EHW in the first Cross Federation Match against EHW's top stars such as Sid, The Rock, as well as others. ICW had their tails handed to them, but they held their heads up high. The First Non-Japanese Superstar was Female Wrestling Phenom "Tori". On the First ICW Card, Tori and Jushin Liger went to a Pin Fall, which was awarded to Tori (Jushin Liger Never wrestled an ICW Event again). Also on that first card, The Great Muta and Chris Jericho wrestled in a barbed wire ropes/ exploding turnbuckle match-up in which the Great Muta dominated (Jericho never wrestled an ICW event again, and Muta went on to partake in other ICW Entities).
ICW didnt really start to pick up until American grapplers such as Maul, Doc T, Merk Killah, Angel Myers, and Malicious [censored] started putting on phenomenal match ups. The Fueds have so far been lost in time, but a few still stick out in the eyes of fans. Such as Merk Killah vs. The Great Sasuke for the first time in an ICW World Heavyweight Championship match. That Match resulted in Sasuke sustaining a Broken Neck and Merk becoming victorious. The Fued went on for months with several title exchanges. The Fued came to ahead at the Summer PPV "Bash at the Bahamas" where Sasuke and Merk wrestled in a ladder match for the Strap. Merk became victorious and Sasuke never held a major title in ICW ever again. In Sasuke's abscence from the injury, one man stood up to take the leadership role and fill the superstar gap. That man was Tommy Dreamer. Albeit the Dreamer/ Merk feud wasn't as illustrious as the Sasuke reign, much blood was shed.
ICW's last few weeks were ones filled with turmoil from both management and the roster. The card from the last show has since been lost, but much anger still broods in the psyches of the participants. Companies such as PCW and CCWA began springing up to take their shots at ICW. ICW fought as long as it could, but died at the end of August that year.
[u]UXW The Silver Age of Hardcore[u]
Ultimate Xtreme Wrestling (UXW). The funny thing about wrestling fans is, no matter how much they deny it, they're thirsty for blood. The bloodier, the better. And those behind the two ICW incarnations are no different. The winter of that year saw the delivery room that brought UXW to fruition. What was UXW? All the Greats of International Championship Wrestling, The Hardcore Style of Insane Championship Wrestling, all mixed into rings rigged with barbed wire, razor wire, cages and whatever else could be found to be used as a weapon that night. There was one main thing that was different. The driving force behind UXW when it really came into swing was Sasuke, and the constant Burr under his Saddle, the Undertaker. Now it has gone down in the minds of many that there have been times where the two couldn't stand to know each other existed, but they had an excellent working relationship. Constantly bouncing ideas off each other, the two came up with matches that made the avid fan sick to his stomach. Such matches in UXW included an INSANE feud between Angel Myers and Malicious [censored]. One of those matches Ended in Angel Myers using barbed wire as leverage across the face of Malicious [censored] in a Camel Clutch. Taking strolls down UXW's memory lane one would see people being flung off balconies, ladders, using weapons of all sorts. Feuds that will last lifetimes, and people will always look back on fondly. That was certainly so for Maul who climbed the top of the ladder as Mercenary was ousted from wrestling for a long while. It continued with a new faction who didn't trust Taker and that came in the form of Diesel, Dustin Rhodes, Kris Drakkon, and Leatherface. They became Team U.X.W. A mockery of the fed, known as Ultimate Xecutioners of Wrestling. They were easily defeated off by Duo Drakkon, Taker, and Mr. Pogo. Pogo unfortunately was retired again due to injuries not even Terry Funk would fight with. In the end Kris and Dustin were left standing. But UXW was not. The Fed soon died thanks to their interruptions and ruinations. But the final card was for another rivalry. The one that started ICW/UXW to begin with. EHW wanted war. And a war they got.
[u]EHW vs. UXW The Cross-Fed War[u]
Extreme Hardcore Wrestling, the Constant Pain in ICW and UXW's collective [censored]. Up until that time, EHW had been the WWE to the rest of the wrestling world, at least to UXW. How do you solve a problem like that? You invite trouble to your backyard. This card as well, was lost to the wind, but matches included scaffolding matches, barbed wire matches, and a melee among other things. The Entire time to prepare for that card was spent trash talking each other. Although its not safe to say who won at all, it was a monumental success for UXW. They had taken on the bane of their existence, and had done it proudly. A draw has been declared by both sides respectively. Recently however EHW has declared bankruptcy.
[u]RWF The Bronze Age of Hardcore[u]
Funded by an unknown backer, the RWF began hosting events on the West Coast as a member of the WCWA (West Coast Wrestling Alliance). Stories flocked in about new wrestlers and new feuds, as well as the return of both The Great Sasuke and Mercenary Killah! Sasuke eventually reformed Ultimate Japan in an attempt to level the RWF, proving to be a constant thorn in the backside of then president The Undertaker. It was only a matter of time before UXW members would enter the fray, causing conflict as well. Mercenary and Maul crushed UXW, and a new hero emerged from out of the ashes to defeat Ultimate Japan: Tobias Renol. Maul eventually won the Heavyweight Title during a battle royale, and all seemed safe. That is until a new man joined. Enter Vader.
Maul and Vader feuded for the title, but Vader proved to be nigh unstoppable, crushing Maul and winning not only the Heavyweight Title, but the RWFs Total Violence Title as well. During the RWFs very first televised pay-per-view event, viewers would catch their first glimpses at rising superstars like Maverick, The Real Show, and Cameron Cross. Vaders dominance continued for the next six months, though Maverick proved that he would be the sole contender for the Heavyweight Title after betraying his best friend, The Real Show, hitting his best friends signature move The Whiplash into an exploding bed of nails. Maverick would be robbed of his number one contendership by The Real Show. Show would go on to defeat Vader in a Last Man Standing match, winning the Heavyweight Title and ending Vaders reign of Terror. Cameron Cross would go on to defeat Tobias Renol in an Iron Man Match for the ages, winning the RWF Dueling Skulls Title. Forming an alliance known as Trademark, both The Real Show and Cross would dominate the Tag Team Division, taking on a series of wins that would be halted by Maverick, who was thirsty for vengeance. He defeated both Cross and the Real Show at the Eternal Nightmare Pay-Per-View event, becoming the first ever Rampage Champion. Disheartened by their defeat, Trademark would eventually split, and begin to battle eachother to regain their lost titles. During this time, The Real Show made the biggest turn on his own friend, standing still as Cross was sacrificed in an exploding coffin match against The Undertaker. Cross would be M.I.A. for nearly a year.
RWF would then see the return of Maul, as well as new rising stars like Kurt Wilson, ShadowCast, The Mad Bomber, as well as the return of Mercenary Killah, who tried to beat The Real Show to a number one contendership shot at the Heavyweight Title, but lost, only to feud against Vader for months on end. This feud would end abruptly, as a man by the name of Xander Harris entered the federation, completely obliterating the Mercenary. Maverick saw the potential in Xander and instantly recruited him; the two would be a dominant force until Maverick was eventually defeated by The Real Show. No longer the Rampage Champion, Maverick announced his retirement due to injuries suffered after years of being in the business.
Cameron Cross eventually returned under the guise of Testament, and defeated The Real Show, only to reveal himself and forgive his old friend. Though they would have their ups and downs, to this day the two are still in contact, and are still close.
New names and challenges presented themselves, Dameon Acathla proved to be an unstoppable force after he won a decisive battle against The Real Show. The Hardcore [censored], Lydia dominated the Total Violence Division, before turning her attention to the Dueling Skulls Title. A series of Super Hardcore matches were fought, resulting in a Deathmatch that would see Lydia exit the federation for months to recuperate from injuries, she would be the only woman to excel in the RWF until Toxic made her first appearance.
Eventually, The Undertaker would find himself at war with the financial backer of the RWF, a man by the name of Gavin Blackfield. Sides were chosen, and a war was fought in the arena, Champions facing Champions to decide the fate of the RWF, something that would become a recurring event in the federation. The Undertaker would be defeated, and Gavin began to make appearances at each show, updating everyone on the events and the card.
Titles continued to change hands until yet another dominant force premiered: Criss Cassidy. Who would become the third Rampage Champion, following quickly behind The Real Show. Cameron Cross decided to leave for Japan to train and wrestle in various promotions out there, including FMW where he would eventually meet Eiji Hayabusa Ezaki. Upon returning to the states, Cameron was surprised to find that Hayabusa had followed suit, joining the RWF as a temporary commissioner, eventually becoming the Vice-President. During this time, Gavin Blackfield unified Dustin Rhodes Karnage Crown Title with the first Dueling Skulls Title, creating the King of Karnage Title. Awarded to one person each year after winning the King of Karnage Tournament, a series of Deathmatches was fought in a Tournament style format. Cameron Cross became the first ever King of Karnage, defeating The Chosen One with a Magnum Suplex into the exploding cage in a Greek Raising Karnage Deathmatch. Not long after, the federation would begin to experience internal management issues, resulting in another war, this time between Jim Cornette, and Gavin Blackfield. With the use of the B.A.T.S., Cornette was able to put a serious dent in the federation, setting up for the RWFs eventual downfall.
Many consider the final days of the RWF to be its greatest. Cameron Cross would go on to finally win the Heavyweight Title that hed sought after for his entire career. A newcomer by the name of Nathan Zodiac would enter, earning himself the nickname of The Showstealer for his microphone skills and his charismatic in-ring performance. Kaden Diabo would join the federation, putting on some of the greatest Hardcore performances that the Total Violence division had ever seen, he would even go on to win the Dueling Skulls Title one time before the RWF would close down. However, due to the financial issues brought on by the various wars and conflicts, and its departure from the WCWA nearly a year before, Gavin announced that the RWF would be shutting down.
[u]SCW The New Era of Hardcore[u]
Steel Circuit Wrestling, a promotion owned by Darien Anderson, former member of the WCWA has begun to announce that former RWF wrestlers will begin to make appearances at house shows. During a public appearance in Sacramento, California, Darien announced that the SCW would be hosting a Pay-Per-View event, and that the RWF Heavyweight Title, the RWF Dueling Skulls Title, the RWF Total Violence Title, and the RWF Tag-Team Titles would all be on the line. How is this possible with Gavin Blackfield still possessing ownership of the company? Only time will tell Regardless, a new era of Hardcore is on the horizon.
