Got myself some art supplies. Good pencils, erasers, and paper make a world of difference. Unfortunately my sketch pad doesn't fit on my tiny scanner so there is a shadow problem. Damn 3rd dimension! Anyway, here it is.

Preparing to join the battle.

That is my main, Blood Wolffe. Minus the goggles. I needed the practice on eyes.

Niiiiiice layout.

I love to see backgrounds with action in them.

Thanks for the feedback. I can't bring myself to draw a character against nothing or a simple background. I have to have some sort of... something else happening. Maybe it's because I'm a writer. Maybe it's because I have a short attentions spa- hey look! A rock!

Any more feedback is appreciated.

Whoa whoa whoa...is that the giant mech man from the Striga TF?!

This is automatic win!

I know from experience how hard buckles are to do, especially multiple buckles all over the place. You've done a great job.

I'd hate to see him in miniature figure form, though. Then I'd be cursing every single buckle as I picked them out with my brush.

Looking good so far. I, too, love a detailed background. It's so great when a picture tells a story.

Thanks. It is supposed to be something like the robot from the striga TF. That was my inspiration, but I can't remember how he looked. So I just put a 50's robot style on the parts I couldn't remember.

And yes, the buckles were by far the most frustrating part.
