Sell my characters? Hrumph, never been the bast salesman, but I could let you see some of the personalities of my characters. To see them all look in my sig.

<Gen. Dursagon>

Pathetic human, what do I care if you draw me or not! I have grander conserns to deal with! Maybe I should squish your head with my boot for addressing me in that manner!

<Malidar>

Grrrr, rowl urf worf ower grrrr......

<Viceralia>

I don't think you'll be quick enough to capture me. (Sultry look) I even bet I'll be able to bury my heeled boot into your chest before you could blink. (Wry smile)Mmmm... The smell of fear on you is sweet! (licks lips)

<Dursabot 12>

The idea of a simple human drawing me is laughable! Only something of my intellect could ever truely capture my visage!

<Clone Flare>

I don't think a picture is neccesary. I'm not picture material..... but if you don't draw me, I WILL show you what hellfire can do to the human body! Then you'll hate the fact that I can heal! (Evil grin)

<Dr. Deathchill>

Mmmm, yes, let's see how well you can draw! While you do that I shall strap you down and hook up my electrodes and needles and we will see if you can maintain a straight line while 50,000 volts are coursing through your body. Hehehehehehe.....

<Flareback>

I'm sorry, I'm too busy saving the city to sit while someone draws me....

<Blazeback>

Oh sure! Um, I think I got my automatic protruding pencil thing around here somewhere....... I wonder if I worked out that finger singe'ing problem.....

<Cosmic Lightstar>

Cool! Can I have it so I can give it to my mom, Flare? Mommy would be so happy!

<Gashback>

I'm not in the mood today. Comeback when I'll think getting kicked in the chest is fun!

<Chillback>

Another request to pose? (rolls eyes) how about you take a photo and draw from that! I've got another modeling session if 10 minutes.

<Ampervolt>

Oh! Like, totally awesome! But like, I'll need to run to the store and buy a prettier outfit! Oh! and I'll totally need a new pair of boots! Like last week, Stacy went out and got a pair of rubber boots and I was like "those are So rainy day, dominatrix!" She is SOO freaky!

All of my refs are located in my signature. Now, on to the meat of this thread...

Kadmon (BS/Regen/Dark Mastery, Fly/Concealment/Presence/Fitness) is somewhere in the area of 14000 years old, a humanoid Golem created in the halls of Mu. Unlike later models of himself, this prototype was designed to learn through experience, and using the data garnered from this, the magic scientists of Mu created new golems to fight on the front lines. Kadmon, the original, however, had learned mercy, and refused to kill those who could no longer fight back. Because of this, he was imprisoned in orichalcum until the year 1130, when he was released without knowledge of who or what he was. Taken in by a church local to the western European country he'd awoken in, he became a paladin, hunting down, banishing, and destroying demons where he found them. It was on one of these hunts that he acquired his signature weapon, the sword of storms, Sturm.

Unfortunately, both for him, and for a certain rather incompetent group of Circle of Thorns wizards, he was accidentally caught in a demon summoning ritual. In 1136, having just banished the demon the Circle was attempting to summon, Kadmon found himself pulled forward in time almost a millennium. Now somewhat miffed and lost in Oranbega in the year 2004, he wandered for a few days, destroying Circle wizards utterly as he came across them. It wasn't until the second day of doing this that he realized he'd have been better off forcing one of them to show him the way out. Luck was on his side, though, as the third day he came across a magical lab that contained runes that had been designed for the Mu so many years earlier. Taking these prizes for his own (including a certain Rune of Recovery which fuels the lion's share of his regeneration), he used one to form himself a portal to the surface.

He has become accustomed to his new surroundings, using the same mental design that made him adaptable before, but he still doesn't QUITE understand some of the things humans do, not the least of which are yawning, whistling, and bouncing around when excited. Slowly but surely, his memory of his past life is returning to him. He can't sing, but he can cook well, predict the stock markets with alarming accuracy, and play one mean bass guitar (most commonly, on the Rickenback 4001).

Masked Shrike (Sonic Resonance/Dark Blast/Darkness Mastery, Fly/Fitness/Medicine) is about 24 years old, a former singer/songwriter and a descendent of Mu by the name of Serafina Dalton. Prior to meeting Kadmon, she was world-famous, often touring around the United States and other countries. After a Circle of Thorns kidnapping attempt that was thwarted by Kadmon, she took him on as a temporary bodyguard for her tours that took her into Paragon City. She went on a tour of Europe for a year after leaving Paragon City, only to return the next year. After another kidnapping attempt, again thwarted by Kadmon, but this time by Kadmon's Praetorian Earth counterpart Prima Ombra, she took up residence with the golem for a couple weeks while also practicing some of her own spells and getting some martial arts training under the former 5th Column oberst (and current zombie) Max Kampfer.

Ombra's second attempt to kidnap her was decidedly more successful, but threw Kadmon into a such a rage that he went to Praetorian Earth on his own to storm his double's fortress. While there, he transfered a measure of his power to Serafina, unlocking the full potential of her Sonic magic and granting her shadow powers and super-human strength as well. She used these to help break herself out of the position of sacrificial-victim-to-be and hold off Prima Ombra until backup could arrive.

After escaping Praetorian Earth, she took up permanent residence in Kadmon's apartment and became the heroine Masked Shrike. She can't cook very well, but she does sing remarkably well, and can punch a hole in someone's eardrums with a whistle if she feels so inclined. She's generally kind-hearted, but has a bit of a temper. She tends to become somewhat bouncy when excited.

*BONK!*s TA.

Seems fitting TA should be the first recipient on these boards for a BONK!

Now, where did I put that BONK.gif...

Disclaimer: BONK! is a stuffed mummified cat plush toy. He in no way imparts any major or minor damage to the recipient, merely a reminder that they have fooled people or created a seriously bad pun. To receive a BONK! merely implies a virtual hit on the head from the aforementioned Stuffed Mummified Cat Plush Toy.

You may or may not find this to be "inspiring" but I recently designed a hero outside of CoH that I am rather proud of it. I was lucky enough to get an ink of him from Silver Spectre but so far he is the only drawing I have of him. If you find him interesting perhaps you would like to take a little spin on himANYWAY, lets get to the Details on the Steel Skinned Irishman, Indestructible.

As in his nickname, Indestructible is from Dublin, Ireland. The Celtic armor pieces that he wears are actually family heirlooms from his great great great grandfather. The rubies that decorate it grant him 1 magical power a piece. He wears a total of 8 rubies of various sizes.

The largest ruby of the 8 rests in the center of his belt. Due to it's size it grants him the power of his namesake. The belt ruby makes him COMPLETELY indestructible to harm as well as anything that is close to his body, such as his costume.

The 4 second largest rubies are on his Gauntlet & Greaves. The one on his right hand gives him super human strength while the one on his left hand allows him to emit red energy from his hands that he uses to stun his foes or shatter dense material.
The ruby on his right greave grants him super human speed while the ruby on his left greave allows him to defy gravity and fly.

The last 3 rubies are the smallest of the 8 and decorate his half helm. The ruby on the left side of his helm gives him precognition of disasters both natural and man-made. The ruby on the right side of his helm enables him to hear the truth in people's speech (he can't hear lies). And the ruby in the center of his helm allows him to emit a blast of energy from his eyes that can vary in power from cutting through steel to knocking back a foe unharmed (like Cyclops, not like Superman).

The only pieces of armor he wears are the pieces that have the rubies on them. The rest of his costume is the classic set of tights (complete with underwear on the outside). Here is a sample of his color scheme and tight pattern.

Indestructible's Color Scheme & Tight Pattern

The I on his chest is still up in the air, I have not been able to think of a good design for it (including that big red circle) so it's really up to you. Someone suggested it look Celtic as well (with the classic Celtic roping pattern that is on his armor) so if you want to do something special with it please feel free to do so and if not then just go with the basic "I" and leave out the red circle.

And finally his cape is another wildcard. I've seen designs of him without (ala the City of Heroes picture above) and some without (ala the comic book style linked below) and I am a big believer in a hero needing a cape ONLY when it is symbolic or functional.

Functional: The hero gets a second use out of it (I have a British Batman-esq hero called "The Wyvern" that actually has wings that retract down to become a cape when he isn't using them to fly, sorta like in that cartoon "Gargoyles")

Symbolic: The hero wears the cape in honor of somthing or to symbolize something (Indestructible is a refined version of a Corny hero I designed named Mr. Awesome who wears the Arizona state flag as his cape to honor the state he grew up in)

So as you can see I have no real idea of either of those having meaning for Indestructible. But if you feel he needs one then by all means add it.

At the time I wrote those taglines up, Ampervolt got stuck in my head and she was going on and on about boyfriends and what others were wearing and yadda yadda yadda. Oops, sorry, that was my daughter... they act so much the same.....

Do you have those seemingly perfect neighbors?Do you wish you could make them tell the truth about what they did last spring?Well look no further Crestentis here! He can make anyone tell the truth or even give them nightmares. He can also control what people say and do. Did we also mention that he can even put the most Insomniac person to sleep.

And if that doesn't work for you then Afarias is the only way to go!!!He can chop virtually anything in half,and he can scare away all your enemies with that big [censored] sword of his!!!

Is there an updated list of who is getting sketches? Or have none of us met the criteria since Turbo?
