Looking for Help With A Cape

My character Mind 'n Matter, is ready for his third costume. I would like a civilian costume, but I can't seem to make a cape that works with the costume I'm thinking of. I was debating the scarf, but I can't find good colors to go with it.

This is his costume without the cape. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me come up with color(s) for the scarf, or a different cape entirely. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and I'll also accept suggestions on the costume too.

Oh, and just for your information, Mind 'n Matter is a Illusion/Radiation Controller.

I think a shorter cape would look good, if you go with the scarf I would stay with solid colors, not stripes.

Also, does anyone think I should change the colors for the pants and jacket? Looking back at them now, I'm kind of debating whether to change them or not. I'm also not sure if those Motorcycle Leathers are the best thing to go with the rest of his costume...
