They start out kinda wimpy I admit - but I tell you >< as they go up in level *damn* do they get powerful!

Ahh <;_;> Well there goes my idea.
You could try a blaster though - they *are* squishy, but with the right setup you can *breeze* through minions once you get SOs. Hell, even EBs aren't that tough if you have a few inspirations. (I've been shocked at how well my Archery/Energy character does)
I would suggest staying away from the Electric primary though... it's not a *bad* primary per-se, but it's not got as much damage as the others; and Fire/Fire can be quite effective!
Of course in the end that's up to you <@_@>

I have been thinking of creating Gideon as a new archtype for his ascended form but dunno what I want. I had thought of Inv/fire tanker but I already have one of those in the form of my character Gabriel Seraph. Then I thought of and electric blast/fire manip blaster but that might be to squishy. My character is a broad sword/regen scrapper so I am trying to find something that would fit I even thought about making him a fire melee/electric armor brute. I need some help in finding the perfect archtype and power set. I was wondering if you guys could help me out.
