Justin Steel
File image
Justin Steel used to be one of the referees in rotation with Dale Simms. He was also used in many of the stunts that involved "kill the messenger" moments (the moments where the losing competitor beats up the referee out of anger). Perhaps this was why he joined with the Committee after the Arena burned.
The Committee welcomed him with open arms and he started workinga s one of their many clerks. If we could just arrest this man, we could find out where all the money for and from their shady dealings goes...
After the Rikti War, the Committee was hurting for controlling operatives and representatives. Where their recruiting efforts failed, they turned inward to find who among their organization had the tenacity to handle the rigors of open combat and the tact and diplomacy to deal with the various quasi-legal and downright illegal groups they worked with.
Justin, surprisingly, had just what they were looking for. After a record-breakingly short training period, Justin was assigned his first operative and one of the most important assignments in the works: "Prove the worth of the Committee to Arachnos."
He also has a tertiary assignment to locate and eliminate any former bWo members he can find. His loyalty seems to be to the Committee, and our agents have had no luck in bringing him in for questioning.

Power Breaker
File Image
File Image
Raymond Harris is an unfortunate victim of our legal system. I say this because it's true... Though the resulting Power Breaker doesn't seem to hold it against the good people of Paragon.
As Raymond Harris, this individual was a petty thief, thug, small-time loan shark and, most importantly, a courier for the Family. As Power Breaker, he has become one of the class of rogues commonly known as Brutes, and has been quite violent on the Etoile Isles... oddly enough, against fellow villainous groups like the Circle of Thorns, or the Council.
Harris was convicted of murder after (he alleges) an Outcast murdered a Tsoo courier in an alley he happened to be walking through at the time. Whether this involved a package exchange or was simply a casual coincidence is not known. What is known, is that Raymond Harris was caught brandishing a weapon at the Outcast, and Randall Grey was unable to find a weapon on the gang member.
Sadly, Raymond's weapon matched the bullet that had killed the courier ballistically...
It was a landslide case. Citizens of Paragon were troubled and angry that a "normal" human being would dare to commit such an open atrocity. Perhaps the fact that Raymond was a normal person for once (despite his ties to the Family, he was far too small time to have received any dosage of Superadine) further bolstered the jury to "make an example" of him.
In prison, Raymond was a marked man. A Tsoo assassin was somehow able to craft up some crude claws from silverware, tape, and pieces of a lunch tray. When they were passing each other, one on the way to a cell and the other headed for lunch, the assassin tore at Raymond's eye and stabbed him in the gut before being brought down by the guards.
Raymond's liver had been punctured, and it seemed there was little hope for him. His life being spared by machinery, he jumped at the first chance he was given to survive, a radical medical treatment from the Crey Bionetics division. He had no idea what he was about to be put through, but they promised it would save his life.
He had no idea the serum would disfigure him so badly. His muscular development was pushed well beyond the limits of normal human capability and his body started radiating an energy field capable of deflecting almost anything thrown at it. Of course, while in prison, Harris's powers were nullified.
We have been able to determine, due to rare pieces of information leaked to us, that the serum may have been based off of Kheldian research. Nictus energy signatures have been detected within Power Breaker's protective energy field, though the effect seems to have been altered. Instead of producing Kheldian signature attack powers or shields, it seems the nictus crystals are simply utilized as a power source for the nanites that made up the main body of the serum. The nanites also provide Power Breaker with an instantaneous heads-up display and access to the Internet from whatever location he happens to be, though wireless signal strength seems to have something to do with it.
Power Breaker was broken out of prison by Arachnos, and he seems intent on not repaying the favor. However, he has engaged in severalacts against Paragon to keep up appearances. Damage has been, thus far, minimal and easily repaired.
One of the more dastardly acts this rogue has commited, however, was the assault on Serafina. However, he left a note fo apology in the genie's hair after the fight was done:
"I'm sorry, ma'am, for what I had to do. I've gotta make these Arachnos goons think I'm still in their pocket or they're gonna be a might mad at me. Maybe, someday, I'll be able to redeem myself, but for now, I'll have to hope this sad little note will suffice.
-Ray Harris"
Serafina doesn't seem to bear a grudge against the villain, and Power Breaker seems to have been rewarded with the powers of Arachnos's Mu soldiers. How this was capable when Power Breaker's abilities clearly lie within the technological, is still something of a mystery.

Ryat Prime
File Image
I'll start off with one that's rather directly related to Grey's Army. This is Ryat Prime, the prototypical model of the Ryat series and the basis for much of Sheldon Wallace's work. It has the original AI software Wallace and Roland Grey worked together on, and is widely believed to have been the origin of the Ryat series' breakthrough into sentience.
However, when the Ryats were placed into storage under the Freedom Corps building (with the exceptions of Ryat66 and Ryat99, for they were deigned to be the models that proved the worthiness of the rest of the series), Ryat Prime mysteriously went missing.
It was found a few months later in the Etoile Isles, commandeering its own peculair band of robotic drones. Utilizing a similar brand of nanotechnology as its creator, Ryat Prime also reinforces its minions with defensive shields similar to that of many heroes here in Paragon.
Longbow/Freedom Corps and Wyvern are struggling to learn the nature of Ryat Prime's involvement in the Etoile Isles.

Martin Sanders
File Image
Martin Sanders was a homeless man even before the Rikti War struck. In his youth, he was an average child, living out average days. Like many of his peers, he often wondered at the heroes of the world and wished someday he could be like them...
Unfortunately, his desires were gratified in a most unwelcome way. His mutation in his mid-teens was that of a connection to the netherworld. He became stronger, tougher, and at the cost of draining the emotions and very life force from those around him.
In the years before the Rikti War, Martin roamed the streets and back alleys, scavenging for food, water, and anything that could keep him warm. Always he was hounded by voices, and could often be found in the middle of the middle of the night, seemingly screaming at the moon.
Shortly before the war started, he had gained a modicum of control over his powers, so he was no longer an automatic threat to others. The years of dealing with the various criminal elements throughout the city honed his fighting prowess as well, and he had become an effective street brawler.
Then the Rikti attacked, and Martin found himself one of the first captured in the onslaught.
They attempted to convert him almost immediately, but his mutancy fought against the treatment harder and faster against the Rikti Mutagen than it could convert him. Until they could get a stronger working catalyst, the Rikti threw Sanders into a hold and moved on to another location.
That location happened to be Fort Drum, New York, and the warship later turned its attention to the surrounding communities, capturing one Charlene Daring-Grey in the process.
When Grey accepted the Kheldian energy being into herself and started laying waste to her Rikti captors, Martin took the opportunity to lead a revolt among the other hostages. He was there to defend Mr.s Grey when she was knocked unconscious from a blaster bolt.
After the ship crashed and the refugees found their way to a piece of wrecked civilization, Martin led the group to what appeared to be a broken down super group base. There, they established a place to rest, get their bearings, and defend themselves in case of a crisis.
It turned out they were in Baumton. Closed in by the War Walls, and beset on all side sby the various villain groups that dotted Baumton (especially the enfarious Lost), Martin led what the Outcasts and Council/Fifth Column called the Dregs ina vicious guerrilla war utilizing scavenged weapons and pure heart.
Eventually, Grey's Army, while searching for clues for Mrs. Grey, found the Dregs, and shortly thereafter orchestrated a daring rescue that climaxed with a massive battle against Rikti Restructurist forces. After the success of the battle, Martin was taken into Freedom Corps and is currently undergoing training as one of our agents.
Little known fact: Martin is actually hearing voices. He talks in his sleep to a peculiar force that guides him as one of the Harbingers. What the Harbingers are, what their purpose is, or what is Martin's connection to them, is still up to debate. As such, Freedom Corps agents are still keeping him under surveillance.

Mider Caid
File Image
Mider Caid is a field agent for MAGI, the magical branch of Freedom Corps. He used to be assigned as a clerk in the Atlas Park branch of the organization, and came in contact with Grey's Army when it was determined that Cedric Grey was wielding a weapon cursed with the soul of his Praetorian (Cedric's not Mider's).
Mider Caid was requitted to that lowly position, despite his tremendous potential, because of his association with one Archon Gregory Caid. As events escalated to what is now referred to as the Talos Island "Cube" Incidient, suspicions mounted that perhaps Mider had supplied a magic relic to his brother.
Such suspicions were proven unfounded as the mystical residue was analyzed and the now-destroyed artifact was found to have been built most likely by the long-dead Mu civilization (not the new resurgence working with Arachnos) and retained by the Circle of Thorns. The Council may very likely have stolen the object, and used it to augment their weaponry, armor, and even erect the energy "Cube" that allowed them to take a chunk of Talos Island for a brief period of time.
After the incident, Mider, surprisingly, found himself promoted to Field Agent status and has recently graduated from hsi training as a Controller class hero. He practices a brand of pyrokinesis blended with debilitating arts familiar to what are known as "Radiation" Defenders.
He has yet to prove himself an effective hero, but Freedom Corps sees a lot of potential in him.

Gregory Caid
File Image
"I'm so glad to have that stupid mask and goggles off... I can't believe those idiots wear those damn things for so long. Don't they know what that does to your face?"
Gregory Caid is the brother of Mider Caid. Considering the previous dossier, one would believe that this was a report on the nefarious dealings of a villain. One would be wrong...
While it is true that Greg was working for the Council, and even attained the rank of Archon, he was actually a double agent working for Freedom Corps and the U.S. Army.
Gregory Caid was the eldest brother of the Caid family, the son of Warlock Rutherford Caid and Incantrix Helen Mireena. With such a heavy mystical predisposition, it was with great surprise (and not a small amount of regret) that Gregory was born without mystical affinity. The parents were stumped as to the turn of events. They attempted to push their son toward mystical arts, for even mundane people can learn to cast even the most complex spells (it just takes more time than those with "the knack"), but Gregory pursued more mundane extracurricular activities like playing sports and finding a decent job.
When Mider was born with "the knack," Gregory was by no means pushed aside. However, there were many times when it sure seemed that way. Gregory just didn't mesh well with his family, and he knew it. As soon as he turned eighteen, he enlisted with the (sorely depleted) Army and disappeared from their lives.
Years later, Mider found himself stuck in a desk job at MAGI because his brother, Archon Caid, was making a fuss across Paragon City. Excelling as a soldier, Gregory was put in a special program to enlist with some of Freedom Corps' elite, maybe even become a Ballista. However, when his family history came to light, Freedom Corps (Longbow especially) decided it would be best if he were assigned to Covert Ops.
Using a "Bad Blood" story, Gregory was able to enter the Council ranks as a disgruntled young man seeking to prove his superiority, no matter what the cost. Sadly, this meant going through the Council's Super Soldier prgram, a process that, Gregory admits, he still isn't entirely sure what happened.
"They keep you doped up for hours while you're under the procedure. I swear they do more to ya than just inject ya with a serum. Fortunately, any transmitters, bugs, or whatever other knick-knacks they put in me were removed when those heroes 'arrested' me... *chuckle* Poor guys... They did their jobs, and I played my part well enough they thought I was Council to the end... It was a Helluva fight, though..."
His ability to provide information on Council operations compromised, Gregory has been assigned the role of Scrapper. The Serum the Council got him with has provided him a powerful regenerative capability, and he's been putting their martial arts regimen to good use as he cleans the riff-raff of the streets of the city. Sometimes he works with his brother, and they seem to work well.

Brother Mauthe
File image
We don't know the real name of this individual.
When the Rikti invaded and the dreaded Lost suddenly sprouted up on our city's streets, there was little word of any resistance against the mutant transients. As it turns out, there is actually a rather extensive effort against the oppression of the Lost and their Great Revelation... Or whatever they're always raving about.
Meet Brother Mauthe. He's a tad... odd... The commander of a legion of homeless vagrants, Brother Mauthe leads an almost communist force against the Lost. Utilizing what equipment they can scrap from raids on Crey, the Council, and sometimes even Arachnos (or even us, Freedom Corps/Longbow), Brother Mauthe wages a guerrilla war to fight back at the terrifying influence of the alien-minded oppressors.
He calls his army the Dregs. Whether or not this has anything to do with the afore mentioned Martin Sanders is up to debate. However, Mauthe seems to be more concerned with his operations in the Etoile Isles. Why he personally is engaging in missions there is unknown, but until we can determine his intentions, we'll have to label him a villain.
Brother Mauthe is constantly surrounded by a small cadre of the toughest, fittest vagrants he can maintain. He supplements their capabilities with stolen technologies that their various agents (which are apparently scattered all over, both in Paragon and in the Isles.

Ashen Roast
File Image
A former Outcast, Ashen was involved with the small war that occurred under Baumton between the Rikti and Grey's Army. He led a small group of sympathetic gang-bangers who helped defend the refugees from the alien onslaught.
Surprisingly, shortly after the battle, Ashen took full advantage of the pardon granted by Freedom Corps and even went so far as to register as a super-powered hero. It's a good thing, too, because if this guy reached his full potential while working for the the elemental gang, he'd have made a dangerous opponent for many of our up-and-coming heroes.
As it is, he's been classified a Fire Tank, through and through. He's fairly deft with the blazing scimitar he wields, and he's got a few street brawling moves that help especially when he's got flames wrapped around his hands.

"Yeah, I remember hearing about the fires the Hellions set all throughout the Canyon... There needs to be more people like me. We can cut that [censored] down. Why? Cuz we're metal like that."
Where Ashen has a surprisingly calm, almost overly proper demeanor, it seems Blizzard has a brazen-bordering-on-rude mentality. Still, he seems to be a nice guy.

Sikk
File Image
Shadowshock
File Image
These two villains were broken out of the Ziggursky Penitentiary at about the same time. They're both loyal to Arachnos, and have personally signe dup for anything that involves Grey's Army. Sikk was apparently apprehended by Mad Matt McGinty, while Shadowshock was arrested (quite violently, according to the report) by Randall Grey himself.
Sikk's specialty seems to be assassinations, and he has one deal with Arachnos worked out. He claims the souls of all his victims. Apparently, his weapon is a cursed "ninja blade" known as a soul drinker. Such artifacts are common among the Tsoo and the Warriors, but not as actually wielded weaponry. Though his was relieved from his possession, it seems the Arachnos organization reacquired it for him, thus sealing him to Recluse's goals. The blade seems to be what is necessary for the deranged youth to be useful. It has granted him access to a plethora of dark powers to aid in his concealment. Every victim who falls to his blade feeds the evergrowing gap in his soul... I guess it's safe to say this will lead to a very violent end for Sikk...
Shadowshock seems to just be a heavy brute who likes to deal out pain. He named himself quite literally, and his attacks are all spiked with a flow of bioelectric energy that is coursed through his targets, sapping them of their energy. His protective powers seem to be a dark armor that absorbs most of the impact from incoming attacks.
Paired together, they seem to be quite dangerous. Though Arachnos hasn't put them into the field ("Go rob a Paragon bank!") with their newly honed and focused powers, it's a sure bet they'll be a devastating duo when deployed.

Jazt
File Image
Telamon Jazt, former Archon for the Council
Archon Jazt is yet another of the growing number of criminals and villains who are learning to hate Randall Grey. However, Jazt had the fine distinction of being one of the few "celebrity" villains to learn such exquisite hate.
Being the Archon involved in what ahs been infamously deemed the "Cube Incident," Jazt was irrevocably altered by the artifact he had employed to enhance the armor and weaponry of the Council cells under his command. He blames this event on Randall Grey, who apparently smashed the man into the orb (Azuria was very cross with Randall about this, she had wanted to study the artifact).
After his apprehension at the hands of Grey's Army and Blue Steel, Jazt was abandoned by the Council. Apparently, they aren't comfortable with transformations that don't occur through their scientific experimentations... So, Jazt wasn't too ungrateful when Arachnos decided he'd make a welcome addition to their "Project D.E.S.T.I.N.Y."
He seems to have taken well to Arachnos leadership. Though his body is withered by the magic within him, he also seems to be quite powerful. There is some speculation as to whether or not Jazt is of his right mind, or whether or not some Circle of Thorns demon has taken the corpse. If the latter is the case, perhaps this is part of some terrifying experiment, to make Circle wizards far more powerful than they currently are...
Jazt's powers were documented as a dark magical invulnerability pared with shadowy brawling techniques. It seems while other Archons learned a derivative of martial arts, Jazt preferred pugilism.

Joe Durnan
File Image
File Image 2
Sergeant Joseph Montgomery Durnan is one of the Paragon Police Department's latest additions to an ongoing project to produce heroes from the department's own ranks. Hailing from Blue Steel's own King's Row precinct, Durnan brings a stoic, skeptical perspective to the experience.
Durnan was brought into the project due to an altercation he had with an unidentified blaster hero. Reports indicate both were somewhat inebriated, and they were each reprimanded byt heir respective superiors accordingly. Freedom Corps decided against getting involved.
Apparently, Durnan was punished by being put on the hero project, and here we are. So far, he's been keeping to a typical patrol, and sometimes engages in missions from typical contacts provided by the offices of DATA and the like. Lacking any real super powers, he's been provided with a DATA Special Combo-Assault Rifle. As he reaches various security levels, extra features are made available to him. So far, he's indicated that he is largely unimpressed by the weapon's appearance, but he admits: "Man, this thing sure does cut down zombies!"
He's involved in a relationship with Grey's Army's favorite daughter, Sarah "Snuffy" Grey. As such, this has generated some friction between him and the rest of Sarah's family (except Charlene, who really likes the guy, and Roland, who practices a peculiar form of Zen; so, really, only Randy and Cedric give Joe a hard time, and its mostly half-hearted). He handles it well, and has recently worked up the courage to ask Sarah to marry him. No date has been set, but with the tenacity the two heroes show, it doesn't look like even "insurmountable odds" will be able to stop them.

Mark Shadow
Shadowmark Assassin Revision/Retcon (I can see why it's done now)
File Image
Project Soultaker (Mk. 2)
File Image
Still the same information as before, Except Mark Daniels is taking to calling himself "Mark Shadow." I swear, writing about this guy is enough to make a Freedom Corps Agent facepalm.
It turns out "Mr. Shadow" is a free agent, after all, and not one of the Committee's standard goons. Apparently, the previous iteration of "Project Soultaker" was grievously damaged by Ragin' James, and had to be replaced. The Committee needed the artifacts Mr. Daniels had to complete the new Project Soultaker, so they simply stole the bracers.
Turns out Daniels was prepared for such an event, and has gathered enough tricks and traps to outfit a small army. He's still stubbornly wielding that assault rifle of his, too.
This Project Soultaker isn't like its flawed brother. It seems to focus entirely on the dark arts, and utilizes them with grim efficiency.

Bioserj
Serj Gorvinof
File Image
Serj Gorvinof comes to us from a rural region of Russia that was within the fallout zone of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Still a child at the time, it would later be determined that the radiation had caused significant damage to the learning centers of his brain.
However, Gorvinof was a proud and stubborn child, and refused to accept anything but perfection. Though he rarely attained it, he was able to fight through his learning disability and achieve at least average grades.
Before he went to college, he and his girlfriend attempted to come to the United States. Whether they were trying to make it a permanent move or not is unknown. Lacking the funding or the know-how to access the country through legal means, they had attempted to get smuggled in. Their trip came to a sudden, abrupt end when they reached the Etoile Isles.
The past few months, Serj has been wandering Mercy Island, trying to piece his life back together. He's made the mistake of drinking the Infected water that has been plaguing the homeless there, and as such, his body has been mutated further.
However, where the infection seems to damage the minds of most people, it seems Serj's already irradiated body has resisted the damage, even altered it. Now, he can throw radiation blasts at his foes, shoot lasers from his eyes (but no, no lightning from his butt), and heal his body when damaged. He's still exploring his capabilities, and it appears he's going to wind up like most radiation corrupters.
For a while, Bioserj, as he came to call himself, served the shadow corporation known as the Committee. This was until he learned they were perfomring experiments on his fellow Infected. Much like the ill-fated Biopulse, he championed their cause (even though he knows it's a lost one), and fought against the Committee agent, Justin Steel. He was assisted by Ragin' James, but turned on him in a fit of anger after the Brute let Steel escape (wounded and weaponless, but still alive).
After the short but painful struggle, James and Solo Stryker recruited Bioserj to their cause. The plan is to have Bioserj act as "eyes-and-ears" for the Brutal Warriors Order, and determine who among the Rogues is worthy of redemption and return to civilized life in Paragon City.

Mad Matt McGinty
Biker Punk Outfit
Mad Matt McGinty definitely breaks the nrom when it comes to Heroic appearances. This crazy numebr is the outfit he wears when he really wants to put the hurt on his enemies.
It's not much in the way of armor, but Matt's never really needed it. The war paints he uses are still somewhat enchanted, much like Tsoo tattooing inks. They help grant him a boost to his reflexes, which he uses to avoid most incoming attacks. The chains and a few armor pads in the pants help cushion the attacks that do make it through, but not by much.

Other outfits...
Grey's Army and their affiliates also have alternate "costumes."
Randall Grey
Randall Grey in a Business Suit
Sometimes, Randall Grey has to conduct official business for his supergroup. When this happens, he dons a business suit and slicks his hair back. Sometimes, just looking professional can mean the difference between a convincing debate or a drunken slur.
Randall Grey in Biker Leathers
Randall doesn't necessarily like this look, but sometimes you have to be intimidating beyond an ugly face. Randall's never driven a motorcycle in his life (and likely doesn't intend to), so this outfit's a little far-fetched, but it looks cool and keeps bad guys shaking in their boots, so he keeps it.
The Fist icon in the center of the undershirt is a throwback to Randall's days as a member of a little known supergroup known as the Iron Fists of Justice (Protector). He keeps it as an homage to his former SG-mates.
Augh!
Sometimes, clothes just get in the way. Randall once wore little more than underwear, but Freedom Corps forces, fellow Heroes, and not a few villains begged him to put some pants on.
"I don't get what the problem was. I was wearing my boots..."
Explorer Outfit
When dealing with alternate dimensions or wild areas around the city (like the Hive), Randall wears this outfit. It has all the essentials he needs to survive on his own (compass, utility knife, waterproof cases for matches, paper, pen, etc.). Essentially his most used outfit aside from his basic blue T-shirt and green jeans outfit. In fact, he wears the T-shirt bearing the Grey's Army logo as an undershirt in this outfit.
Sarah "Snuffy" Grey
New Hairdo
Sarah Grey was earlier posted as being blonde... This is actually a falsehood. Her hair has been stark white since she was in junior high school. For normality's sake, she'd been dying it since she graduated, but has decided to return to just letting it grow in its natural shade.
This outfit is similar to the one posted before, except now Sarah forgoes the "kitty ears" headband that facilitated her sonic assaults. Now her "dance tunes" are handled solely by the gauntlets' speakers, which are actually capable of high quality sound. All of the outfits Sarah now uses utilize a similar system.
Dancing Fool
Sarah loves to take the dance floor.
"It's just plain fun!"
This is the outfit she uses when she feels certain missions might be too dangerous for her to take Ni or Felix with her. For such situations, she tends to fight like a wild animal herself, often flooding her enemies' heads with nightmares and pummeling them into submission. It's a wonder she doesn't wind up with actual bloodstains on this outfit.
It's Felix! And... Wowza...
Sarah's latest look may be a tad racy, but she still fights as hard in this as any of her other outfit. She also has Sheldon Wallace's mutant gerbil thing, the "Gudar" Felix, for backup. Felix is surprisingly resilient for being such a small creature. Rumors have it the little bear might be tough enough to go up against most human-sized and bigger opponents on his own.
Cortland Simmons
Cory Simmons, the Fire Demon
In ages past, Cory's ancestors made pacts with savage creatures typically called devils and demons in modern days. Sometimes, such pacts were sealed in carnal fashions, leaving a mark on the bloodline.
In the ages before the Colonial Period, Cortland's ancestors broke free from their pacts and debts, but the mark was left upon the blood. Many among his ancestors walked down dark paths and wound up commiting great atrocities. Others, like the line that would eventually lead to Cortland Simmons, overcame the influence of the mark, and turned the "demonic" power toward objectives that aided others and furthered their fellows.
Now, Cortland has learned to bring forth his infernal heritage in his appearance. Wrapped in fire, shielded by ice, Cortland Simmons engages the foes of Paragon City, the hunters of the innocent, and the scourges of justice. He remains a terrible force of Freedom and Honor.

The Gray Render
File Image
This here is Randall Grey... The Praetorian.
Reports given to us by Cobalt Black 3-8-9 indicate that Gray Render may have been the force that destroyed Praetorian Earth's Kingdale, New York, and not Shadowhunter's packs, as was previously believed.
Shadowhunter seemed to also be having trouble with this savage, and had to request aid from Tyrant (much to his chagrin, apparently). Marauder and his cronies raided the Kingdale forests and subdued the Render.
It was believed that the Gray Render had been executed for insurrection, but now it's become clear that Marauder kept this wild brute in a cage... Why is still a good question, but Cobalt Black has explained that sometimes the best weapons in Tyrant's arsenal are the negative heroes he's bent to his will.

The Shadowmark Assassin
File Image
This individual's real name is Mark Daniels.
The original bWo character was simply named Assassin, as Mark was a very unimaginative player. However, he was skilled at the fighting, and provided yet another perennial "jobber" for the group to whomp on aside from Psycho13.
After the group fell apart, Mark was quickly enveloped into the ranks of the Committee. It is believed that during the course of his work as a Committee Agent, he came across a relic like Solo Stryker's "Rings of the Moon Strider" called the "Bracers of Obtenebration," which grant the corruptor control over dark energies even more versatile than Project Soultaker's attacks.
He utilized these powers to augment his already disturbing skill with his assault rifle, and rapidly climbed the ranks of the Committee's agents. Eventually, he joined Shadowmark, a Committee aligned organization.
So far, we've ben unable to find any information on this company called "Shadowmark." It has been theorized that the company doesn't actually exist, and that Mr. Daniels covers for himself by saying a supposedly shadowy organization simply grants him his contracts. Why he wouldn't jsut stick with the Committee is an unknown, but perhaps he gets more work from more versatile clients in this fashion.
Currently, he's been assigned by the Committee to assist Justin Steel in any way he can. They seem to be hunting Ragin james, Solo Stryker, and Dirty Ice.
