Well, it was a nice piece, despite the official stance about it.

That's absolutely retarded!!! I mean it is his signature....stupid legal stuff. It was a gift, c'mon they do something like that and no ones gonna wanna do something like this again. Pisses me off...

This bothers me.

I understand the policy/decision and the reasons behind it, but it bothers me that in regards a matter which is so important/integral to our community here, policy becomes more important than that community.

It bothers me that it seems like nowhere in the process did an actual human being stand up and say: "Yeah he's a pro, but he's a part of this community, too, darn it! And this is a matter of community, not business!"

Perhaps I should be more bothered by the fact that I'm surprised by this.

NCSoft screws up royally often when it comes to handling this community -- I am not surprised that they fumbled the ball here as well. When this game has vanished, the artists and artwork, will live on as a tribute to this community and the players of this game.

If the makers of this game cannot realize that fact, then that is their shortsightedness, stupidity and ultimately, their loss.

Gill -- You continue to be the consummate professional that you are. You've proven yourself time and again that you are a valued member of this community and an extremely talented artist. No restriction of one of your pieces is going to erase that fact, ever.
