Blood of the Black Stream costume concept.

So... I've been in the mood to toy around with the costume creator the past few days, and recently, what I've come up with, is a concept I've created for a Blood of the Black Stream AT character I may make, if they ever come along.

So far, all we know, is that the Blood of the Black stream are trying to combine magic, with technology (I think so, at least.) and are, in other words... Technomages. We also know that they are indirectly, or perhaps directly related to the Gadzhul Oil industrie in Egypt. So, Egyptian Technomages related to oil and that can Shapeshift. Of course, for me... that sparked an idea.

And so, I come to you, seeking out critic, comments and other such words that you may find to be relevant, and important.

And... the pictures:

- Picture 2

If the pictures are too dark (As I believe they may be.) simply ask, and I will provide a clearer picture.

But yeah... I like the way it's turn out so far... Although, I find something seems lacking...

I think your *base* premise is decent - I like the Egyptian hat and turquise color lightning eyes.

I think the problem is - you did *exactly* the most obvious thing >.< Which is to use the Circuit pattern and wrapped gloves with said egyptian hat.

Personally, the way I see this improving drastically would be to continue the circuitry theme throughout the entire body...

Then put a mystic symbol across the chest in a similar color (to break up the lines).

I wish there were elbow/knee things, because that would also help vastly; but they just aren't an option >.< But yeah - keep your egyptian hat, keep your circuits... lose the wraps.

That of course, is merely my opinion <,< and you're free to do with it as you wish!

The gloves had reason as well. They're bandaged, of course... I remember Statesman making mention of working on a Mummy AT (Now the Blood of the Black Stream), so, that was partial influence.

I'm also aware that bandages can be white, although... seeing as how these guys are, as I would believe, created with Magical oil of sort, I made the Bandages black, as to give the allusion that they're drenched in said oil. Or perhaps even made of it.

I've also never been much of a fan of the Chest symbols, of course... I've never given it a shot on this costume. I may try it out, just to see. I may also lose the wraps, but I'll see what it looks like first.

And yes, I as well wish that Knee/Elbow costume options existed. It would make yours truly, quite happy.

Bam.

So, I took off the wraps, and added a symbol (Eye of horus, as it appears in Port Oakes, and is supposedly in relation to the Blood of the Black Stream.).

I think it turned out alright, although... I still find it a bit... bland.

I'm not sure what though >.<;

Btw, the Eye of Horus was a good touch... I'd actually been thinking the "Arcane" chest symbol, the one with the pentagram and lines (which I figured would 'mesh' with the circuitry); I think the Eye works nicely too though

As for the chest symbol, I had the same idea in mind, until I saw the Eye of Horus. Seemed to fit better.

Perhaps the Eldritch symbol would work as well.

Also, dunno if you see this... but the black base and the cyan curcuitry lines make this look like the Egyptian Mummy From TRON....

Hrmm... you know what would fit this guy perfectly? We don't have it yet... (maybe I8)... but an "over-the-shoulder cloak" type cape.

I'm tempted to suggest going with a tan base, instead of a black base... >.< But then again that's part of the "Blood of the black stream" thing... so I dunno. Just thinkin aloud!

See I personally really like the brightness on the circuitry <,< But thats just me!

<'x'> I thought that was part of the positive aspect hehe <,< I felt the circuitry was a major focus (along with the head) and the black was to provide a backdrop <'x'>;;
