other mezzes are good but slows,-fly and -jumps have no reiestance and keep your opponent from crawling away once your opponent is cut off from escape he is an easy kill.(Fear is also another good way to keep opponents from escaping because very few mez protections have fear reiestance) But sometimes we might require stonger tools than keeping your opponent from escape thats why you need...
2. Burst damage
Burst damage refers to any type of damage that once you hit that power the damage is just there Burst damage also works very well when its in the form of an unreistated damage type like Energy,Cold,Fire or Neg energy. Now you have the damage to take a Person in PvP but what if your opponent has reistances? Thats when you need...
3.Buffs and Debuffs
Buffs and DeBuffs are ALWAYS needed in PvP who knows what Buffs your opponent might have or he might even have a Pocket Empathy(or Pocket Therm but I have almost never seen any of those) with him/her the best DeBuffs for PvP are...
-Damage
-Defense and Resistance
-Accuracy
(-Regen is nice too but Regen can be easily overcome with burst damage)

4.PvP fights
So your against a Group of Heroes/Villians just keep these in Mind in a Fight
1.Have 1 and 3 on the guide
2.What gives the enemy side thier advantage
3.how many Allys are with you
4.How Many Heroes/villians are you facing
5.basic Pvp stratagy
Most PvPers use one or more of the following PvP stratagies
1.Gank
A gank is a Take down by a Team Usually Started with a TP foe First(and you are not with your team or not on one) you might be hit with some form of unresisted controll(slow,-jump,-fly) then the teams Main damage dealers will use attacks like Headsplitter,Assassian Strike,Bitter Ice Blast,Bone Smasher etc.
2.Kitting
Kitting can also be called jousting as for your opponent runs in and attacks then run some and attacks you again
3.Hit and Run
Hit and Run is just as it sounds you hit your opponent then run to make sure they arent hurt it usually excuted with fast Animation attacks such as Headsplitter and Bone Smasher
6.Basic pvp Behaviour
Sure you may be tough and all but just remember
1.Don't say after a killing an opponent "you got owned [censored]" say something like "nice fight"
2.Don't go on the broadcast saying oh $name is such a lame opponent
3.If you get hit with a high damage power or a Strong DeBuff don't say on the broadcast "power X is overpowered NERF IT!!!!"
7.PvP Travel
As we all know there are 4 travel powers but which are the best for PvP
1.Teleport
best Travel power hands down there for Pvp althought a bit clunky with movement(since you can't get to flying opponents) Teleport can be used when under certian forms of mezzes(immobilize,slows,-fly,-jump) and has no suppression
2.Super Jump
There are many more forms of -fly than -jump making Super Jump earn second on my list
3.Super Speed
Even if you are hit with slows you still can move pretty fast great for kitting
4.Fly
In some situation is great since but its not quite the best for PvP since there are many forms of -fly present
8.Wrap up
PvP is fun some usually have more fun than others. Most problems people complain about in PvP is how they can't play PvP with PvE builds or how they got killed by one person because they were Inattentive/AFK or were solo here are final few basics of PvP
1.be Nice(as in Don't be an elitist jerk when you kill someone)
2.PvP is made for teams so get a Team
3.ALWAYS kill whiners first
4.Always get the temp powers in a zone they usually give you an edge in a Fight(usually a smart player will find a way to nullify that advantage)
5.have fun or leave the zone

Nice guide, Though there are certain debuffs such as the ones that you center on a ground like tarpatch that are near useless in a pvp environment. As the opponent can just run right over them and land in if there fast jump right back out with no penalty.
