Subject: Urik Von Lossart
Villain alias: Abbadon.

You may remember Mr. Von Lossart the news stands in Germany following the Rikti War. One of the few surviving mortal human soldiers to fight and live, Urik was lauded as a hero in his native Munich, where, with the help of several heroes, he held of an invasion force long enough for Alpha Team and Omega Team to make their fateful pushes into the Rikti lairs beneath Paragon city.

How the mighty have fallen.

It is not known exactly how Urik became the monster known as Abbadon. What we can ascertain is that following the war, Urik was mortally wounded fighting off a retreating Rikti soldier, and was rushed to the nearest field hospital, where he apparently died, broken and alone. The tale, obviously, does not end here.

Urik's mangled body disappeared hours after his 'death', literally stolen off the cot where he lay. The perpetrators of this act seem to have been employees of the Fenris weapons and aerospace company. Yes, the same Fenris corporation that had all of its top researchers, scientists, and security personel butchered in the R&D complex.

It seems, from what files we've been able to dechipher, that Urik was deemed a perfect candidate for Project XXII, a process of ressurecting top-shape soldiers, atheletes, and criminals pos-mortem, and experimenting on them with various cybernetics and more esoteric technology.

What follows is a rather gruesome description.

Urik was successfully revived several hours after his death by unknown means, and forced to endure hours of cruel, twisted tests at the hand's of Fenris' doctors. Urik's arms were amputated at the shoulders, and replaced with bleeding-edge cybernetic prosthetics. Likewise, his body below the waist was removed, and also fitted with cybernetic attatchments. Urik's stomach, liver, and kidneys were removed and stored, his organs replaced with an odd artificial device we cannot study without vivisecting the subject.

According to the files, Urik was forced to undergo rapid physical rehabilitation, as well as martial arts and weapons training. It also reveals that Urik's brain had been removed, suspended within a computerized shell, and enhanced with nanotechnology, before being reinserted and reactivated within his body through unknown means. This gave the scientists a fail-safe incase Urik ever tried to rise against them, they'd simply administer a command to his brain, and he would loose all mobility.

Several months passed, and Urik was deemed fit to undergo the final proceedure of Procject XXII. Strapped to an operating table, chest and back armor were grafted directly onto his body like an exoskeleton, and sealed in place. Urik's eyes were then removed, and replaced with hi-tech artificial implants, which were in turn wired directly to a full helmet, also grafted to his head. Three weeks after the surgery, Urik Von Lossart finally died, reborn as the cybernetic assassin, Abbadon.

According to the diagnostic file detailing the 'armor' Abbadon was outfitted with, it contains several frighteningly advanced systems. The rest is quoted from the descriptions.

"The Abbadon Mark V exoskeletal combat armor has been equipped with the latest in stealth and defensive technology. The unit employs a full cloaking field around the applicant, rendering him all but invisible at will. In addition, the armor has been infused with self-repairing nanites, making it incredibly damage-resistant, and repairs virtually uncessecary, except in the most extreme of cases.

Lastly, the subject to which the armor is grafted is trained in the use of the Molecular Blade, an incredibly deadly sword composed of a titanium hilt and guard, with a nanite blade. The weapon cannot loose its edge, and adjusts its composistion based upon the subject being attacked. Thus the blade can almost always cut the target, making it ideal in covert assassination."

As you can see, the thought of giving such a weapon to an incredibly strong, fast, and all but invisible cyborg is chilling. And the creators learned this first hand, when after apparently suffering a short circut due to a blow to the head, Abbadon was able to assert the will of Urik once more, and doing so, he set himself upon the path to the Zig.

Instead of breaking free from the facility and fleeing to the nearest authorities, Abbadon activated his cloaking field, and proceeded to hunt down and kill each and ever scientist that so much as set foot near him during his creation. The leader of the program, Heinrich Kurtz, was found all along the hallway leading to his office, torn apart piece by piece as he tried to flee his creation. Abbadon then fled the scene, till his apprehension in Paragon city, where he was apparently hunting down a Fenris researcher. The corporation has become defunct since the attack.

((First try at this, let me know what I need to improve))
