CoH/CoV Wiki: Phase 1
Cool idea. I'd recommend using links extensively for some things, though, if you can get permission. It would be pretty silly to reproduce all the work on badges done over at Vidiotmaps, for example. A link would make more sense.

There's already a CoH/CoV Wiki running over at Paragon Wiki .

Moonlight Maiden - Lvl 50 Warshade
Sister Leortha - Lvl 50 Emp/Rad Def

Wow, sorry in advance for resurrecting a really old thread, but I just saw this message while ego-surfing for my site.
Anyway, I'm TonyV, the site admin for the Paragon Wiki, and I wanted to say thanks for this shoutout several months ago, and I also wanted to point out that the site address has changed. The new address is:
http://paragonwiki.com
Hopefully, that's a lot easier to remember than the old site link. I've set up a redirect so that all the old links and bookmarks still work, but I am trying to get everyone switched over to the new one if possible.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
(If you love this game as much as I do, please read that post.)
[Note: This is not a guide, per se, but I felt it fits best here. To any moderators who are unhappy with my decision: dont hesitate to move it.]
Think of the last time you wanted a piece of information relating to CoH/CoV. If you wanted some info on a Trial NPC, a Build guide, and the spawn locations of a given monster you would have to scour the boards or search through various fansites. Additionally, most of the player base does'nt even bother to read the forums, and many newbies are left at the whim of the insufficient in-game help system and their fellow players. I have always wanted a simple, indexed, and easily acessible compendium of knowledge, and with the help of my SG, and hopefully many of you that make up the board community I can accomplish it.
A Wiki is a website with content editable by anyone, usually with many non-human systems to block spamming and deletion of good content. [ see http://www.wikipedia.org ] By using a Wiki we can create a single, monolithic repository of all things CoH/V. I'm planning on having a functional, though incomplete Wiki on of before the fansite contest deadline, Dec 11th. However if you are already intrested in writing or maintaining content for the Wiki, please reply or send me a PM. Or first goal will be Archetypes, powers, and powersets, and perhaps some how-stuff-works (like ACC and DEF) content. As far as guides are concerned I consider them to be creative works and property of their authors so I ask you to please send me authoriation to post your content on the Wiki, any guides that are not submitted will (eventually) be linked to anyhow. I really hope that we can all work together in completing and mainting the Wiki.
Much Love,
