Mistress Ohm: Power Corrupts (ORIGIN)

Beatrice McAllister sighed. These so-called 'studs' that came her way were never up to her standards. Given that they paid her, handsomely, to abuse them, to experiment on them, to cause them pleasure and pain in ways most people never thought about... but when it came down to it, the human body couldn't take what she wanted to dish out.

And she ... LOVED.... the way electricity changed them. So much so, she hadn't taken the capacitor gauntlets off for a week. She'd tried dating, being (ahem) normal... but it was so BORING, having to rely on a stock nervous and endocrine system, and EMOTIONS, to get someone ... ready....

Plus they wore out so quickly, and yes, they were sometimes fragile. She'd cannibalized a defibrillator unit after one poor man had gone into arrythmia; now her capacitor system doubled as a life-signs monitor so it wouldn't kill someone from electricity overdose.

What to do? She'd tried dating superheroes... but most of them weren't into wierd kinky stuff, they wanted normal. As one spandex-clad guy had put it, "I get zapped by Clockwork every day it seems. It hurts. Why would I want to get zapped for fun?"

She looked at the apparatus she'd spent two years building and perfecting. It was SUPPOSED to be the ultimate domme toy, could be concealed under the most revealing of outfits, and was designed to preempt a man's nervous system, send him to the heights of ecstacy or the depths of agony from across the room. But, it was too powerful. It didn't train submissives, it broke them.

And she'd grown so used to what it did to, no, FOR her, that she was unwilling to scale it back. She could augment her muscle strength, her speed, and yes, use a flash of current down her spine to block pain. It would be hard to wean herself off of her creation....

Her eyes fell on the 'recruitment' postcard that got mass-mailed to Paragon City residents.

She thought about it. Then thought some more.

The system COULD be used to incapacitate. Basically it was a tesla coil system, able to throw arcs of electricity across a room. And the different projector modes allowed for all sorts of interesting effects. She particularly liked the one that set up a resonating electrical field around a man's legs, rooting him in place while slowly bleeding his strength and stamina away. It couldn't be maintained for very long, but it showed promise.

Why not? She'd heard that the cops couldn't go after a lot of the criminal element, because they too had paranormal abilities... so it seemed that something 'too much' for a normal man would work out just about right on a metahuman.

And she wasn't going to be seeing any new clients soon. Might as well see what the city would pay to apprehend criminals instead.

Bea looked through her selection of outfits. Hrmmm.... calf-length stiletto boots, a miniskirt, her favorite leather bustier and collar, and the apparatus under it all like a supercharged set of undies. Yeah, this could work. But, it needed something more....

Half an hour later, she'd perfected the greasepaint design on her torso, right above her cleavage, and laid a neat greasepaint 'mask' across her eyes. The metal epaulets on her shoulders completed the ensemble, making her look, well, if not exactly heroic, at least imposing.

She took a look in the full-length mirror... and the feeling of purpose washed over her like a tidal wave. FINALLY she knew what her life had led her to. Those crazed Hellions, the Skull cult, those Superadine-addicted Trolls, even those goofy little clockwork robots...

ALL would discover, with Mistress Ohm around, resistance was... interesting!!!
